Almost anything you could dream, you’ll find at this 40 acre estate in Ireland. Here a few dozen of your closest friends and family can join you for a fantastical gathering inside the eclectic mansion or out in the green gardens. Guests will sleep easily in one of three sunny houses, where every bedroom has an en suite bathroom and custom decor.
Here you can choose the venue to fit your party - the intimate dining room, the larger Ballroom, or the grand Garden Room. Or you can entertain groups of 100 outside, where children can frolic on the playground and adults can get some fresh air in the extensive gardens (playing croquet, or walking by the stream). Art, sports, entertainers, and more can all be brought to the estate - just ask, and it can be arranged.
Though this estate feels like a country of its own, it's accessible! Kinsale (2 km) is the nearest town, while Cork International Airport can be reached in a 20 minute drive.
* Please note that there are 2 rental options:
- Manor House only – sleeps 28 with 14 en-suite bedrooms and all the relevant
living and activity rooms.
-The entire Estate – sleeps 44, includes the Manor House as well as the 2 Estate
Cottages – which is a total of 22 en-suite bedrooms and exclusive use of the whole property.

- There is some unfenced water within the grounds, please be sure children have adequate supervision.
- Prepare to unplug - mobile phone reception varies depending on the provider.

There are 22 en-suite bedrooms on the estate: 14 in the Main House, 4 in the Stone Cottage and 4 in the Coach house. Those booking for 28 guests or less will only have access to the bedrooms in the main Manor House.

Outside Grounds
The magnificent south-facing walled gardens feature an outdoor entertainment patio, croquet lawn, playground, helipad, picnic lawn, stream and pond, and lead down to woods and a small boat jetty on the Bandon River estuary. The informally manicured grounds are perfect for outdoor cocktail parties, activities, garden parties and BBQ’s.
The grounds have undergone a huge regeneration programme to bring the many native species in the old forest of Cappagh Wood back to their former glory. There is close to 40 acres on the private estate including: a beautiful south-facing terrace to the front of the Danford Ballroom, with steps leading down onto an outdoor entertainment patio with its own fire pit. Croquet lawn with a gazebo. Playground. Helipad. Vast lawns and gardens. Numerous ponds and streams. Small boat jetty. Forest pagoda. Woodland Walks. Ample guest parking. All-weather covered barbecue area.

About the surrounding area of Kinsale HallThe House is less than 2 kilometres from the outskirts of Kinsale, County Cork, Ireland. Kinsale is frequently referred to as Ireland's Riviera and enjoys a continental ambiance with a wide selection of renowned restaurants, cafes & pubs buzzing with live music, against a background of ancient forts. Visitors are captivated by the town's setting, its long waterfront, narrow streets and slate-clad houses.
Kinsale is a top class centre for many activities including sailing, yachting, deep sea fishing, diving, watersports, windsurfing, horseriding and golf. There are three golf courses including the world-famous Old Head course.
Kinsale attracts a diverse population from the four corners of the world and is one of the most sought after addresses in Ireland. This popularity is aided by its location - Cork city (40 minutes), Cork International Airport (20 minutes), Cork Railway Station (40 minutes).
As part of your stay, Oliver's VIP Concierge Team can organise a number of activities at the private estate - either for individuals or variously sized groups. This list of activities is not exhaustive but is meant to give some suggestions as to the type of activities both at the House and in the near vicinity of the estate.
It is possible to bring in certain expertise and activities on site so you can enjoy them in the comfort and privacy of the estate. Some of these include: various health and beauty therapists that can be brought in. Transfers and limousine hire. Helicopter hire. Personalised local or national sightseeing tours. Hot air balloon. Magicians and other Children’s entertainers. Horseriding instructors and horses. Bicycles. Archery. River Kayaking. Football. Croquet. Art classes and pottery (next door is the Kinsale Art and Pottery school). Cookery Classes (either by the resident Chef or a host of national and internationally renowned chefs). Murder Mysteries – either by the day or weekend. Treasure Hunt and a full range of group activities.

Please note that there is an additional fee of €499 per booking. This covers the staff at Kinsale Hall's time to organise and plan your stay as well as the daily concierge service.

helicopters), activities, theme parties, birthday cakes, etc (If you take the local staff's suggestions, they charge a 12.5% management fee applies to cover our time in organising and co-ordinating all the buy-ins).
- And the most important – fully staffed 24 hours per day with experienced, professional staff including onsite manager, housekeepers, waitresses and night porter.

The 18th century, Kinsale Hall, makes a truly luxurious wedding venue where privacy and attention to detail is guaranteed. A number of celebrities have stayed at the property looking for a unique property which exudes country charm, with its sprawling gardens it is a photographers dream venue – a truly beautiful backdrop for the photographs you will treasure forever.
Wedding Reception
A reception with up to 180 guests can be hosted on the estate with the Garden Room and Ballroom used together. In the Garden Room alone, 130 could be seated and in the Ballroom 52 people. There are many combinations of rooms to use for different guest numbers up to 180. Dancing could continue in the ballroom with music playing until 2am. Outdoors music may play until 7pm.
Wedding Ceremony
Again, there are many locations both inside and outside for a ceremony on-site. Options include smaller spaces indoors including the breakfast room which could host up to 43 people or larger options outdoors such as the Croquet Lawn or by the pond for up to 180 people. The property is fully-licenced to host legal marriages.
Where to Stay
Up to 24 people can sleep on site. Nearby, all other guests could find accommodation in the nearby town which is a 2-minute drive from the property. The owners can supply details of local transportation firms.
Wedding Planning
There is a dedicated coordinator on-site for events, the venue can suggest wedding planners or the client may provide their own. The venue has suppliers to suggest and can help on request with all event needs.
Catering
All catering for events is taken care of in-house.
Other information
Venue has range of suppliers they prefer clients to use – others on request – catering must be provided by venue’s chefs. Event fee varies depending on requests for the day.
Please note that any event rental may be subject to additional charges, venue hire fees and to a higher security deposit, which will be in addition to any published rental rates and fees.
All events are on request only and subject to prior agreement from the owner, who reserves the right to refuse all events without their prior authorisation.

* Note that if you only wish to rent the Manor House, then the Estate Cottages – the Stone Cottage and the Coach House – may be rented to other guests. They have their own private gardens and access to the West Wing field but will have access to the forest and river. The Main House has private use of the all the lawns to the front and back of the House so your exclusive use is maintained.
