Getting there and around

Flights

British Airways, easyJet and Wizz Air UK offer direct flights from London to Ljubljana, with a flight time of approximately two hours and fifteen minutes. When booked in advance, tickets can be relatively inexpensive. Once you arrive, there are a few ways to get around if you wish to make the most of Slovenia.


By car

Renting a car offers you the greatest flexibility whilst exploring this small but mighty country, giving you the option to discover picturesque villages and secret local viewpoints. Slovenia’s well-developed road network is very safe for travel, with roads generally kept in great condition. The mountains may present a little more of a challenge!


By foot

Tourism in Slovenia has been developed with a special focus on sustainability and the pleasure of green experiences, making it the ideal destination to discover on foot or by bike.
