Villa Gypsum is located in Alikianos, a small rural village situated approximately 12km from Chania Town and 9km from the coast. The village, known for its abundance of orange trees, primarily sustains itself through agriculture and cattle breeding.

Alikianos itself offers a quaint setting where one can procure groceries and appreciate the local scenery. - If you are heading into Chania for dinner, it is best to pre-book a dinner table though there are also plenty of walk-ins
- If you have more than twelve guests, you are welcome to use the sofas in the living room as extra sleeping spaces
