Nestled in the coastal gem of Slano in Croatia, Villa Biljana is an elegant beachfront estate boasting five bedrooms that sleep ten. Only 33km from the World Heritage Site of Dubrovnik, it’s cradled by the stunning Adriatic Sea, with the majestic Walls of Ston located 20 kilometres away.
A haven for nature lovers and watersport enthusiasts, it offers a dazzling mix of fishing, cycling and sea diving spots — with a wealth of modern facilities that await you indoors.
The villa greets you with an expansive patio, exuding a beachy, modern setting. Take a dip in the glistening saltwater pool as you enjoy scenic Mediterranean landscapes that abound on the property. For a relaxing time, pamper yourself with a rejuvenating massage under the warm sun. Spend leisurely hours by the pool before you tuck in for a decadent al-fresco meal at the outdoor dining table. The property is kitted with relaxing daybeds and parasols, making it an ideal summer home. The villa also features a partially-shaded sun terrace. Overlooking rolling hills with a comfy lounging area, it’s the perfect spot for casual chats and a round of cocktails.
The spacious living area opens onto the breezy outdoors. It infuses dewy white interiors with colourful accents for a refreshing tropical vibe. A cosy, lilac-hued sofa offers ample space to unwind before the flat-screen TV, and multiple large windows allow abundant daylight along with idyllic views of the sea. Dig into sumptuous family meals in the indoor dining area. Or, whip up homemade recipes in the adjoining kitchen. Open-plan and well-equipped, it’s fitted with wooden countertops and modern cabinetry. It comes with an oven, toaster, refrigerator and dishwasher, among other appliances.
All bedrooms stay loyal to the relaxing ambience of the rest of the house. Elegant and well-designed, each comfortably sleeps two guests.
While four bedrooms feature double beds and en-suite bathrooms, the fifth, located on the ground floor, has two single beds with direct access to the pool. It also has a spacious media room with a plump, magenta couch for a relaxed evening indoors.

About the surrounding area of Villa BiljanaBlessed with a symphony of landscapes, Slano is a treasure trove of rugged hilltops and marvellous beaches. While Grgurići Beach is 400 meters from the villa, Koceljevići Beach is 600 meters away. Spend time at the picturesque Karmelska Beach, where you can swim, kayak and snorkel. If dry land is more your thing, there are plenty of beachfront shacks and various restaurants to enjoy.

A little taste of paradise
We already had high expectations from the photos and positive reviews but on arrival are expectations were superseded still. We were greeted by our wonderful host Sandra who instantly made us feel very relaxed. Throughout our stay Sandra was on hand to help us arrange taxis and give advise for day trips. The villa location is perfect in every way with stunning views. Slano is incredibly peaceful but also enough restaurants so you don’t need to cook if you rather eat out. The beaches are beautiful and the water is incredible clear. Villa Sol del Mar really makes for a dream holiday.

Our Easter holiday was perfect!
The property is beachfront and convenient to a few restaurants by foot. Sandra the host is absolutely amazing! she brought garlic and chives from her garden. The shower pressure and heat 10/10. The kitchen is well equipped with seasonings, pots, pans, wine and champagne glasses. The house overall has modern yet classy aesthetic.
