This magnificent, contemporary villa boasts 5 exquisite bedroom suites with the upper twin room also offering a comfortable sofabed that you are welcome to use for an additional 2 guests. 

Slano is a tranquil, pretty village located on a wide bay with a picturesque backdrop of green-cloaked hills. Its history is fascinating. The village boasts many interesting buildings including a 14th century Franciscan monastery as well as boat hire to explore the offshore islands. The village is scattered with authentic restaurants serving delicious Dalmation treats.

Villa Burla is newly built, along with two other villas in the same location. Contemporary design meets ultimate comfort with luxurious furnishings and stylish, trendy decor. Most rooms and all three terraces enjoy magical, breathtaking views of the azure, crystal clear Adriatic Sea where you will enjoy the most amazing sunsets. With incredible interior and exterior space and brilliant amenities, you will find it very hard to leave this sensational villa though the charms of Dubrovnik and the Dubrovnik Riviera await.

The villa is built over three levels with the main living space on the ground floor. Open plan in design and with enormous sliding doors to the terrace, the living space is drowned in brilliant natural sunlight and the two spaces feel like one. Interior designers have waved their magic wands creating a luxurious space with striking, statement furnishings and gorgeous, vibrant artworks. A massive corner sofa is perfectly positioned to enjoy the sensational vistas as well as the large television and you will certainly be dining with a view. The sleek, contemporary kitchen is a chef’s dream with fantastic appliances. It is very much part of the living space. Also on the ground floor, you will find one of the bedrooms with a kingsize bed and a beautiful, stylish ensuite bathroom as well as another full bathroom with a walk in shower and a laundry room.

The terrace is home to a beautiful infinity swimming pool surrounded with deluxe loungers as well as a delightful alfresco dining space. You could not be closer to the sea.

Three beautiful bedrooms are located on the first floor, all with kingsize beds and stunning ensuite bathrooms with top-notch, trendy walk in showers. Two of the bedrooms enjoy access to another fabulous furnished terrace where you can enjoy your morning cup of coffee or perhaps a glass of wine while getting ready for the evening. The views are incredible.

The top level is home to a magnificent suite with a twin bedroom, an outstanding ensuite bathroom with a walk in shower, a modern kitchen and a living room which opens to a large terrace. The living area offers a sofabed which you are welcome to use. The terrace is stunning with a wonderful range of lounge furniture, the perfect spot to enjoy the sunsets. This suite is perfect if you are taking a holiday with extended family who may want to enjoy a little private time or perhaps teenagers wanting their own space to hang out.

Villa Burla is exceptional. It is extremely spacious and every single room is simply beautiful in a minimalistic, striking way. The Villa Managers are extremely helpful and are happy to arrange excursions, transport, private chefs or spa treatments.

This amazing villa is located just steps from the beautiful beach of Slano. It is a lovely, peaceful resort with shops, bars and restaurants 700 metres from the villa. The views are gorgeous with the stunning Elaphiti islands so close. You can hire a boat and explore the unspoiled nature, secluded beaches and caves of this beautiful archipelado. When staying in Slano you will enjoy beautiful scenery driving through pine forests, fruit orchards and olive groves. You will also discover castle walls and centuries old forts. The Franciscan monastery offers a collection of Roman sarcophago and the beautiful summer residence of the wealthy Ohmucevic family is very impressive. If you want to leave the car at the villa, you can catch a bus into Dubrovnik’s Old Town which takes 45 minutes. 

Dubrovnik Old Town’s picturesque shops, restaurants, winding streets and historic sights are an absolute wonder. You will leave with many photographs! Dubrovnik is an up-market destination enjoying huge popularity and a fantastic gastronomic scene. There are three entrances to the walled city of Dubrovnik including the main gate, Pile, Ploca by the port and Buze between the two. The Buze Gate will take you in via steep staircases. Placa Stradun, the wide, flat main street running the length of the city is sprinkled with open-air bars and cafes. The market in Gundulic Square sells classic candied orange peels and figs. You may want to pre-book tickets to climb the outer walls as it does become very busy. The harbour is a lovely, atmospheric area with many alfresco restaurants. If you leave the Old Town through the Ploca Gate there is a lovely panoramic walk along Frana Supila Street. You will enjoy stunning views over Dubrovnik and the sea. You can also take the cable car to Mount Srd where you will enjoy amazing views. If you take the cable car up, you might want to hike back. You can take a delightful path in Bosanka leading back to the Old Town.

The Peljesac Penisula is a premier wine region of Croatia. Visitors can tour the local vineyards and sample the local wines, stopping at the charming villages of Ston, 20 km away and Trstenik. It is a wonderful excursion, particularly if you are not the driver!

The Elaphiti islands are an archipelago very close to Slano. There are six islands, not including any small islets, although the main ones to visit are Kolocep, Lopud and Sipan. Kolocep and Lopud are car free.

Villa Burla is excellent for a family holiday. The villa is very spacious and enjoys exceptional living spaces and a beautiful pool. Being just a few metres from the beach is also a huge plus! The bay of Slano is very long with pebble, sand, stone and paved beaches and coves. Slano is an ideal location for those that like the outdoors and sports. There is beach volleyball, tennis football, cycling, hiking, sailing, fishing and many water activities. The village is close to Dubrovnik, the beautiful Peljesac peninsula, the gorgeous Elaphiti islands and the island of Mljet, all perfect places for excursions. 

Dubrovnik has much to offer families. Harry Potter and Game of Thrones fans will be in their element exploring the famous filming locations. They can walk through the streets of Kings Landing, capital of the Seven Kingdoms and dominant power in Westeros. The castle (St Lawrence Fortress) and gardens of the Red Keep in Trsteno Arboretum is where King Joffrey celebrated his royal wedding. Children love climbing the walls of the Old Town, visiting the fascinating aquarium and taking the cable car up to Mount Srd. From Dubrovnik you can take many water-based tours including semi-submarine rides, glass bottom boat excursions, jet skiing, parasailing, kayaking, panoramic boat tours, scuba diving and fishing. The fragrant forests and rolling mountains outside of Dubrovnik have some of the most beautiful cycling and hiking trails in Europe.

Cavtat is a lovely town to visit. Children love the promenade and the watersports available at the beach. The coastal path is stunning around the Rat peninsula where you can explore the small beaches along the way. If you walk up to the Racic Mausoleum, you will enjoy fabulous views of Dubrovnik.
