Worthing Beach House is an absolute gem. Enjoying a fabulous prestigious spot on the Worthing seafront overlooking the beach, the sea, and the iconic pier, it is a perfect seaside idyll for four guests. The house is beautifully designed to make the most of its spectacular sea views with upside down living. It comes with a fantastic south facing balcony for your morning cup of coffee and pre-dinner drinks and a wonderful garden with stylish alfresco lounge and dining furniture, a barbecue, deck chairs and a hot tub for a blissful, indulgent dip. Worthing Beach House cannot fail to tick all your boxes for your next seaside escape.

Once a tiny fishing village, Worthing offers much holiday entertainment including its glorious sand and pebble beach and its iconic pier. It is surrounded by pretty villages including Heene, Broadwater, Sompting, West Tarring, Goring, Salvington and Durrington and there are some wonderful walks nearby in the Sussex countryside. Just along the coast is the very lively Brighton. There is plenty to do in this wonderful area including wine tastings and tours of the lovely Highdown Vineyard, visits to the National Trust’s Slindon Estate and Cissbury Ring, a visit to the very pretty Highdown Gardens and wonderful hikes on the South Downs.

Worthing Beach House offers luxury seaside living at its very best. Upstairs, you will discover and fantastic open plan living space with enormous doors opening wide to the glass panelled balcony. You can relax with the soothing sounds of the sea and the soft breeze blowing through. This magical space is beautifully appointed in gorgeous blue and yellow tones and is flooded with Sussex sunlight streaming through the floor-to-ceiling windows and doors. It is beautifully chic, effortlessly stylish and oozes luxury. A contemporary sumptuous corner sofa sits on one side of the room against a wallpapered feature wall, adorned with colourful scatter cushions. On the other side is an accent chair picking up the yellow theme, a large wall-mounted television, and a beautiful dining table. Its clean lines and cool vibe encourage you to embrace the calm ambience. The ultra-smart black and grey kitchen is incredibly spacious and boasts the very best of appliances including a wine cooler. It also features a clever breakfast bar and stools, perfectly positioned to enjoy the panoramic sea views. The balcony is stunning. Even the table has a neat space for a bottle of bubbly and ice! You can relax, enjoy your drinks, and take in the mesmerising views while the sea provides a harmonious soundtrack.

Your two bedrooms are located on the ground floor. The master enjoys a real feeling of luxury, and you would be forgiven for thinking that you are in a boutique hotel. Its ensuite bathroom boasts a freestanding tub, perfect to soak your stresses away. The double room is also gorgeous, and the bed adorned with luxury linens and beautiful soft furnishings. This room also offers an ensuite bathroom with a large walk-in rainfall shower.

The garden is totally gorgeous too. You can dine alfresco using the quality barbecue and return from a day exploring the local delights to take a dip in the hot tub. Worthing Beach House enjoys a brilliant location with uninterrupted beach views. Worthing is genteel, refined and bursting with wonderful restaurants, cafes, and shops. Kenny Tutt, the MasterChef winner, has two restaurants that you should try, Pitch and Bayside Social. With a beautiful palm lined promenade, the seafront is lovely. The historic pier can be seen from your balcony. Worthing enjoys many attractions and is more or less joined to Lancing and Goring.

Worthing’s Highdown Gardens are lovely. They offer eight and a half acres of chalk gardens, nestled in the South Down National Park to the north of the town. They overlook the sea and are home to a National Plant Collection, a living library of rare plants and trees adapted to live on chalk throughout the year. Its huge snowdrop and peony collections, rare and ancient champion trees and shrubs growing in a challenging environment bring thousands of visitors every year. Many of the plants are from the original collection started by keen horticulturist Sir Frederick Stern in 1909.

The Worthing Museum & Art Gallery is fascinating, especially if you have a passion for the best in Regency and Victorian fashion and want to be inspired by the artists Stanley Spencer, William Holman-Hunt, and Philip Jackson. There are lots of exhibitions and events throughout the year and educational visits including dressing up days.

You must pop into the English Martyrs Catholic Church in Goring-by-Sea to admire the only known reproduction of the Sistine Chapel ceiling in the world. The work was start by a sign writer parishioner, a natural artist, in 1987 after a parish pilgrimage trip to Rome to attend the Beatification of 85 English Martyrs. He was given permission to bring the ceiling to the church and it is now completed on a two third scale. The colours match the ceiling in Rome. Thirteen national and international television companies have filmed the work and magazines such as ‘Time’ have covered it.

The National Trust’s Slindon Estate is a wonderful 1,400-hectare ancient downland estate sprinkled with woodland, downland, farmland and parkland with countless historic landscape features and an unspoilt Sussex village. You can stroll around the village or take one of the paths that cross the estate. In spring, there are fantastic woodland flower displays and summer brings shady woodland and masses of butterflies.

Also close by is the the most historic hill on the South Downs, Cissbury Ring. It is the largest hillfort in Sussex and enjoys a history dating back over five thousand years. It is one of the jewels in the crown of the South Down National Park and is set up high on a chalk promontory with its ditch and ramparts enclosing roughly sixty-five acres. On a clear day you can enjoy sensational views beyond Brighton and as far as the Isle of White. It is a fantastic place to fly kites, take a picnic and look out for rare plants and butterflies. During spring and autumn, you will see a wide variety of migratory birds as Cissbury is one of the first coastal landing points after flying across the Channel.

Highdown Vineyard is nestled on the southern slopes of the Downs between Littlehampton and Worthing. The vineyard produces award winning wines and offers tours, tastings, and special celebrations. Each year there are a selection of still and sparkling wines produced. The tastings can include packages with canapes, light lunches, or afternoon teas. It is very friendly.

Best Suited For: All Ages
Ideal for Kids Ideal for Teens

Worthing Beach House is ideal for a family holiday by the beach. The house is beautifully appointed, very spacious and comes with a hot tub and an excellent barbecue in the garden. You are just moments from the lovely sand and shingle beach and a walk on the pier is a must.

There are many attractions in and around Worthing to keep children entertained. Just outside, Roundstone Farm is lovely for fruit and vegetable picking. Children always love this, even if much of the fruit is ‘tasted’. The farm is 100% natural and offers gorgeous crops of fruits and vegetables including pumpkins, butternut squash, marrows, courgettes, and runner beans which are all hand planted.

Children also like visiting the High Salvington Windmill. It is an excellent example of a working post mill which dates to approximately 1756. The mill has been extensively restored and started to grind again in 1991. When you visit the windmill, you can enjoy tours, learn about its history, and have delicious teas and homemade cakes. Souvenir flour is often available from the shop. Every year, the mill takes part in National Mills weekend, sponsored by the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings.

Brooklands Park has also undergone significant restoration and offers an adventure play area, beautiful gardens, a lake, cafe, and plenty of room for frisbee throwing and football.

If you have a wet weather day, the Splashpoint Leisure Centre boasts a six lane, twenty-five metre competition pool, a learner and diving pool and a leisure pool with a flume and outdoor padding pool. There are lots of water activities including aqua jets, water walkers, aqua aerobics, and swimming lessons. There is also a state-of-the-art gym and studios. The spa offers a steam room, sauna, and treatment rooms.

Brooklands Go Karts Mini Moto Circuit is popular with families and young drivers. There is a choice of two circuits and two kart sizes so that juniors can have fun. The Findon Swimming Pool is an outdoor heated pool that is open for family fun during May to September. It comes with a fun waterslide.
