Villa Manzano may be placed in the idyllic countryside, but it is only 3.5km away from the town centre of Pollensa. Thus, guests are within close proximity to an array of tourist attractions. For example, the Pollensa Museum is located within the main square of the region, placing guests close to the town’s most cultural hotspot. The Pollensa Museum hosts a varied collection of art pieces from the Gothic era, allowing guests to step back in time as they explore the many exhibitions. This landmark was officially founded in 1975 but has been praised at events such as the Summer Exhibition of Painting since the 1960s. Not to mention, this museum is free to enter for all guests, making it a very affordable day out.

If you are visiting Pollensa during the month of August, you have a chance to catch the Cala San Vicente festival. These events take place all around Cala San Vicente, which is just over 15-minutes away from the town centre of Pollensa. This festival is a key event within the local’s calendars and allows tourists to learn more about the region’s cultures and long-ranging history. Previous festivals have included riveting Samba concerts as well as a local parade that lines the streets with artists and dancers. A majority of the events occur during the afternoons and evenings, with an immersive fireworks display finalising the entire festival. The festival runs for around four days and usually begins in the middle of August.

The Joan March Gardens are an incredible attraction that blends the simplicity of nature with some of Pollensa’s biggest financial successes. These magnificent grounds were first founded in the late 1980s in memory of Joan March Servera, a member of one of the wealthiest families in the region. This family helped to boost Pollensa’s economy with various business ventures, improving the quality of life for many citizens. The gardens themselves contain a variety of olive trees and other vegetation, creating a diverse landscape for tourists to discover. Joan March Gardens are open 24-hours a day which helps guests pick an optimal time to visit this attraction.
