The outdoor areas of this property are nothing short of spellbinding, making use of a spacious swimming pool. This pool is encircled by a collection of premium sun loungers and parasols. As such, guests can shield themselves from the scorching sun before taking a dip in the cool water of the pool. This property also offers an array of exquisite outdoor terraces, each one being equipped with a luxurious seating or dining area. In turn, guests can indulge in a refreshing glass of wine whilst becoming mindful of the awe-inspiring landscapes that surround them.
 
Inside, this property continues to express an assortment of beautiful motifs, creating a cohesive theme throughout the entire property. The combined living/dining area uses a wide variety of cream-coloured furniture, helping to build a comforting and balanced atmosphere throughout. The living area contains two comfortable sofas that provide an unobstructed view of the flatscreen TV at the back of the room. Opposite the living area is the dining area, a space that makes use of a broad wooden table and a set of white chairs. This helps to embody a sense of tranquillity and serenity that guests can enjoy whenever they please. The kitchen within this property also adheres to a similar theme, using a range of bright white cupboards as well as a nuanced breakfast bar to the side of the room. The ground floor is also home to two bedrooms. The first bedroom contains a spacious double bed that is fitted with ample linens, ensuring that guests can gain a restful night’s sleep throughout their stay. The second bedroom contains a pair of single beds, making this space ideal for two small children.

Villa Granero can be found in the incredible region of Pollensa, a location that is able to inspire and attract a plethora of tourists. The Puig de Maria is a tremendously significant religious landmark that is located around 5-minutes away from the centre of the region. This monument is home to a 14th-century monastery that was built as a shrine to the Virgin Mary. Although this monastery was built in 1348, it underwent an array of renovations, particularly in the 18th century, where it was redecorated to mimic the typical Gothic style of the time. Guests can enter inside the landmark and oversee the collection of well-preserved artefacts. The climb up the 330-metre summit takes around 30-minutes, making it a very accessible hike for most guests.
 
If you are looking to experience more of Pollensa’s immersive culture, a local market is a perfect place to visit. The Pollensa Market is located in the main square, which is just a stone’s throw away from the town centre. Here, guests can meander through a varied selection of stalls and browse through an assortment of artisan clothing, bags, and craft times. There is also a section dedicated to fresh produce, allowing guests to pick up a few ingredients to use in their own cooking back at Villa Granero. The Pollensa Market occurs every Sunday and welcomes guests from 8 am till 1:30 pm.
 
Pollensa is also known for its expansive and growing food scene, providing guests with a collection of fine dining restaurants to choose from. Q11 Restaurant is based just a short walk away from the town centre and offers a superb range of menu options. This establishment places seasonal gastronomy at the forefront of its culinary operations, meaning that the chefs only use the freshest ingredients in their dishes. Thus, guests can indulge in divine dishes such as Norwegian cod with a rich white wine sauce as well as Argentine-style beef with a medley of beautiful vegetables. There is also a variety of desserts on offer like traditional tiramisu and rich apple pie. Q11 Restaurant is open every day from 12 pm till 10:30 pm.

THE REGION

Pollensa, in the north of the island, is an ancient town of attractive narrow streets and an impressive main square, lined with cafés, restaurants and bars, and is just a few kilometres from Port de Pollensa.

The town has several places of interest to visit, including the Roman bridge, signposted ‘Pont Roma’, which is still in use, and the Puig de Pollensa – a small mountain topped by a monastery just outside the town. Pollensa welcomes children with open arms and allows them to uncover an array of iconic and timeless attractions to help broaden their horizons. The Pollensa Museum is just a short distance away from the town centre and provides a collection of deeply moving art pieces. This museum was first established in the 16th century and was originally used to host a range of ornate Gothic altarpieces. These delicate artefacts gained a lot of attention over time and were even celebrated at the Summer Exhibition of Painting during the 1960s. In 1975, the museum was officially founded and now showcases a plethora of beautiful Buddhist mandalas as well as the complete works of iconic artist Atilio Boveri. The Pollensa Museum is open every weekday from 10 am till 2 pm and can be entered free of charge, making this an ideal attraction to visit if you are travelling on a budget.
 
The Joan March Gardens are a spectacular attraction that truly highlights the biodiversity of this amazing region. These gardens were first constructed in the late 1980s as a way to celebrate the eldest son of the March family, a group that helped to push Pollensa into an economic boom with their intuitive business ventures. This attraction is lined with idyllic orange and olive trees, allowing guests to get up close and personal with these incredible sights. The gardens also host a selection of slim cypress trees, which can be found on the town’s traditional coat of arms. The Joan March Gardens can be found around 10-minutes away and is open 24 hours a day, allowing guests to visit this attraction whenever they please.
 
Located just under an hour away from the centre of Pollensa is Formentor Lighthouse, a monument that is shrouded in a deep and rich history. This lighthouse was first erected in 1863 and was originally used to guide small fishing boats away from the dangerous rocks that sit at the base of the shores. To this day, this iconic monument is still used to protect the local fishermen in this area. Formentor Lighthouse has also been commended in the world of literature, with figures such as Blas de Otero and Gerardo Diego commenting on its beauty. Guests are encouraged to drive up to the 210-metre peak and revel in a collection of panoramic views as they pass through.
