Villa Flores is situated in a dreamy location in a 1000 year-old olive grove, way up in the Pollensa hills. This rustic farmhouse boasts beautiful views towards the Puig de Maria, Pollensa and Alcudia. The villa has a romantic, irresistible atmosphere and allows you to relax from the moment you arrive, creating a holiday you won’t forget.

You enter the property via a spacious hall with an inner archway leading into the living/dining room, featuring stone walls and a feature fireplace creating a cosy, welcoming ambience to the space. The pine fitted kitchen is ready for your use if you would like to try your hand at some Spanish classics. Doors open from the kitchen onto the poolside terraces, the ideal spot for some chilled beverages to cool you down in the warm Spanish climate. On this ground floor there is one en suite double bedroom and a further bath/shower room. Stairs lead up to the first floor where there are two double bedrooms and two pretty twin bedrooms, with one ensuite and a shared shower room. There is an enviable terrace with spectacular views, a perfect spot for relaxing and reading your book. This house is comfortably furnished throughout in Mallorcan rustic style with many interesting crafts and features.

The outside of this villa has a truly tranquil and peaceful feeling. Approached off a winding single track lane the location is extremely private. There is a kidney-shaped swimming pool with furnished sun terraces great for soaking in the rays! The brick built barbecue is next to the original bread oven adjacent to the covered terrace. There is ample room for everyone to dine outside if al-fresco dining is your thing, why not buy some fresh local fish and cook it up on the barbecue to share.

With all the amenities of Pollensa close by, Villa Flores makes for a great holiday with family or friends, there is something for everyone.

What you should know…

  • Due to the private location, we would recommend a car to access everything that is offered in the surrounding area.
  • Get yourself down early to the authentic market that occurs every Sunday morning in Pollensa to buy the freshest fruit, vegetables, meat and fish.
  • In late July each year, the Moors and Christians Festival takes place in Pollensa with a week of festivities culminating in the carnival on the 2nd of August. During this period visitors can expect loud music and celebrations into the night, especially on the 2nd of August.

Pollensa has everything you need for a wonderful holiday, situated inland from some of Spain's finest sand beaches. The town itself centres around beautiful cobbled streets leading to a traditional church. Wander the streets that lead to the church to discover traditional outlets selling a range of foods, arts and crafts as well as cafes, restaurants and bars. The highlight of the week is the authentic and traditional market that occurs every Sunday morning. Get there early to secure the freshest fruit, vegetables, meat and fish.

The Calvari steps provide the best view of the local area, but be warned that to get to the top you have to climb 365 of them. However, the climb is worth it and the views definitely do not disappoint.

THE REGION

Pollensa, in the north of the island, is an ancient town of attractive narrow streets and an impressive main square, lined with cafés, restaurants and bars, and is just a few kilometres from Port de Pollensa.

The town has several places of interest to visit, including the Roman bridge, signposted ‘Pont Roma’, which is still in use, and the Puig de Pollensa – a small mountain topped by a monastery just outside the town. Security deposit €600 charged to the client's credit card as a pre-authorisation at least 2 weeks prior to arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to a full inspection.
