Villa Thanasis is a modern, stylish property located in the small village of S’Horta. With a population of about 1,000 inhabitants, the charming village offers two small supermarkets, as well as cafes for your enjoyment. Just a short five-minute drive away is Cala Ferrera and its beautiful, sandy, Cala Sanau beach. With this and the popular tourist area of Cala D’Or only 5km away, Villa Thanasis offers the perfect opportunity for those wishing to escape the busier, more tourist areas of Mallorca, whilst remaining nearby.
The interiors of this villa are contemporary and sophisticated. Bright and airy spaces, with high ceilings, exposed concrete beams and dry-stone walls, create a calm, relaxing and unique atmosphere. Spread over two floors, there is plenty of space to spread out, making the most of all that this property has to offer. The ground floor has a fabulous socialising space, with an open plan kitchen and large living/dining space. Large glass windows and doors maintain a constant connection to the outdoors, so the ambience of the space changes along with the time of day. There are two twin bedrooms on this floor, both offering en-suite bathrooms and access to the pool terrace, so you can stumble out of bed and wake yourself up by jumping in the pool in the morning! The further three bedrooms are on the first floor, all of which offer en-suite bathrooms and access to a fabulous terrace. The terrace is ideal for relaxing, taking in the desirable countryside views and the coast in the distance, maybe even take a glass of wine up in the evening and watch as the sun sets on the horizon.
The pool area is equally as lovely as the interiors, overlooking a charming fruit garden. Sun loungers provide the perfect spot to read your favourite book, or just enjoy the long, sunny summer days. There is a lemon tree as-well as other aromatic plants that you can use for cooking. Next to the kitchen, a spacious, covered terrace with a table and a built-in barbecue are perfect for enjoying al-fresco meals together as a group.

- Although there are amenities in the village itself, we would recommend a car when staying at the property, to make the most of the surrounding areas
- If you are a golf player, the golf course is only a 10-minute drive from the villa, so make sure you pack your clubs

THE REGION
Cala d'Or – or the 'Golden Bay' – is a popular beach area on the southeast coast of Mallorca, south of Portocolom and neighbouring the coastal town of Portopetro. In Cala d'Or you really get an all-round holiday experience with wonderful beaches, interesting excursions, well-preserved nature and varied nightlife.
Cala d'Or is an excellent spot for a beach holiday thanks to its impressive facilities and wonderful beaches. Huge fun is the mini 'train' which runs along the roads for holidaymakers between the main resort and beaches. The town is also a great base for exploring some of the best natural and historical sights that southeast Mallorca has to offer.

From the initial booking to being at the Villa they responded extremely well and their attention to detail was excellent. The Villa is delightful with a fabulous pool but there were a few minor issues all dealt with I must say.
