A stunning and traditional villa located in Pollensa. Finca Cifre transports guests into an idyllic property that will truly blow them away. The outside areas of Finca Cifre are some of its finest features, presenting a large swimming pool for guests to use after a long day of exploring. The pool also includes a set of sun loungers that are placed close by. Thus, guests can unwind whilst soaking up the warmth of the glorious sunshine. This fantastic property also includes a covered terrace area with multiple rattan seating arrangements. Guests are encouraged to make use of the portable barbecue and enjoy an array of amazing meals whilst relaxing on the outdoor terrace.
 
Finca Cifre also has an incredible interior, collating a collection of unique design pieces to make one incredible space. The lounge area contains two large sofas that are decorated with a set of plump scatter cushions. As such, this entire room is designed with your comfort and serenity in mind. The lounge area also includes a collection of furnishings and art pieces to help give the space a more creative atmosphere. The dining area within this villa includes a quaint dining table with an assortment of matching chairs. This unique space is designed to bring the whole family into one space so that they can enjoy their meals and each other’s company. The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the essentials, so you can craft a set of incredible dishes with ease. Moreover, the kitchen makes use of dark wooden cupboards to help blend in with the other furnishings found throughout the villa. The first of four bedrooms is also found on the ground floor of this property. This bedroom offers guests an expansive storage system as well as a spacious double bed to sleep in each night.
 
The upper level of this property hosts the other three bedrooms. The second and third bedrooms also make use of double beds, ensuring that each guest has enough room to sleep soundly and peacefully. The fourth bedroom is a twin room that contains a pair of single beds. Therefore, this room offers the perfect amount of space for two small children.

Finca Cifre is just 2km away from the bustling town centre of Pollensa. In turn, this villa allows guests to reach a wide variety of amenities and attractions with ease. The Pollensa Market is located in the main plaza within the town centre, making it a landmark attraction for both locals and tourists. This market brings together a diverse assortment of merchants, all selling a range of artisan goods. With over 300 stalls to discover, including clothes, bags, and craft items, you are bound to find a hidden gem to remind you of your wonderful time in Pollensa. Not to mention, there is also an abundance of local produce to try, helping you to recreate lots of cultural dishes using a selection of fresh ingredients.
 
The Pollensa Museum is also located in the main plaza, sourcing some of the town’s finest art pieces from the 16th century. This museum began construction in 1588 and finished in 1616, showing off a plethora of ornate Gothic altarpieces. During the 1960s, these art pieces were praised at the Summer Exhibition of Painting, helping to draw more traction to this landmark. Despite its long-running history, the museum was only officially founded in 1975. The Pollensa Museum is a fantastic place to visit if you are looking to dig deeper into the region’s expressive art scene. Plus, this museum is free to enter for all guests and is open between 10 am and 2 pm on weekdays.
 
Pollensa also contains a variety of impeccable landscapes, giving guests a picturesque view wherever they decide to visit. The Joan March Gardens are located just 45-minutes away from the town centre of Pollensa, offering a rural paradise just a short while away. These pristine gardens were named after the first-born son of the March family, a wealthy tribe that spurred Pollensa into an economic boom with its intuitive business ventures. As such, these gardens are teeming with looming trees and a variety of plants, helping to create a centralised hub of natural sources. These gardens are open 24-hours a day, ensuring that guests have plenty of time to visit them during their stay.

THE REGION

Pollensa, in the north of the island, is an ancient town of attractive narrow streets and an impressive main square, lined with cafés, restaurants and bars, and is just a few kilometres from Port de Pollensa.

The town has several places of interest to visit, including the Roman bridge, signposted ‘Pont Roma’, which is still in use, and the Puig de Pollensa – a small mountain topped by a monastery just outside the town. Finca Cifre is close to a wide range of family-friendly attractions, giving children a plethora of activities and destinations to choose from. The magnificent Alzinaret Caves are located just over 10-minutes away from the town centre of Pollensa. During your time here, children will have the chance to explore a set of prehistoric caves that date back all the way to 1600 BC. Although the caves have prehistoric origins, they were recorded in 1927. Thus, one of the caves acts as a shrine to the archaeologist who discovered them, Wilfred Hemp. These caves are filled with intricate structures and ancient references, helping children to learn more about the archaic history of Pollensa. There are also a few benches outside of the caves for guests to use if they do not feel like entering inside.
 
The beautiful beach of Puerto de Pollensa is just 4km away from Finca Cifre, allowing guests to explore this tremendous location without straying too far away from the villa. Puerto de Pollensa beach is truly stunning, using warm sands and crystal clear waters to create an awe-inspiring landmark for the whole family to enjoy. The water at this beach is fairly shallow, meaning that children are encouraged to go for a swim and enjoy the soothing coolness of the sea. There are also watersport activities available at this beach, such as snorkelling and windsurfing. Within the surrounding area of Puerto de Pollensa beach, you will find an array of local restaurants and bars. Therefore, the whole family can enjoy some fresh and native dishes during their time at this spectacular beach.
 
If you are travelling to Mallorca in August, you have the chance to visit the Cala San Vicente festival. These celebrations usually occur in the middle of August and host a wide variety of events and concerts. In the past, this festival has welcomed a local parade that lined the streets with dancers and musicians, as well as an 8-hour heavy metal concert. The festivities are scattered around Cala San Vicente, which is just 15-minutes away from the centre of Pollensa. On the last day of this expressive festival, the locals celebrate with an awe-inspiring fireworks display.

    The villa is located on a side street in a quiet area. Shopping facilities and the beach are nevertheless within easy reach by car. The house has a good room layout, all guests find enough space inside and outside. The house is of a decent standard and was very clean when it was handed over.

    The house itself and the location were really good. Pollenca is always worthwhile and the way to the sea is not far. The shopping facilities are very good.
