Overview
Set in verdant gardens with distant mountain views, Villa Julia is a comfortable 4-bedroom villa for up to eight guests. Featuring a large, private swimming pool, this Mallorcan holiday home provides an excellent introduction to the Pollensa area in the north-eastern part of the island.
A covered terrace along the back of the house overlooks the pool, gardens and an outdoor hot tub. There are a dining table and chairs, and a large barbecue a few steps away.
Also in the covered area, you have a comfortable seating area with a sofa, coffee table and armchairs. The well-maintained lawns offer children plenty of space to run around and play while you relax.
Inside the villa, the lounge, dining area and kitchen can be found on the ground floor. The kitchen is well-equipped with an oven, fridge, microwave and dishwasher, with an archway leading to the dining area and the lounge with its fresh and comfy seating. Satellite TV and Wi-Fi are available for your entertainment.
The ground floor is also home to a bathroom and two of the bedrooms – one twin and one double with an en-suite. Upstairs, the remaining two bedrooms, again a twin and a double, share the use of a bathroom with shower, and offer lots of space and are beautifully furnished.
Historically significant, Pollença has many notable buildings and architectural features to see, as well as a good selection of restaurants and bars.
The neighbouring port, Puerto de Pollença, is the place to head for beach life, including water-sports and fun parks for the children, and there are more great beaches a little further up the coast in Cala Sant Vicenc.
Villa Julia is also just over 7km from the beautiful town of Alcúdia. You can take a guided tour of the historic centre, browse for local crafts and foods at the twice-weekly market and, depending on when you’re there; you might catch a festival – processions, dancing and musicians playing live in the streets are a common sight in this well-loved coastal town.

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa JuliaPollensa is an attractive town in northeast Mallorca, in the foothills of the Tramuntana mountains. With beautiful architecture to appreciate, such as the Calvari steps, the city is rich in history.
Among its highlights are the ‘Pont Romà’, an ancient Roman bridge, the Mare de Deu dels Angels church with its famous rose window, and the Convent de Sant Domingo.
The neighbouring port, Puerto de Pollensa, lies to the north and has one of the area’s best beaches, with numerous bars and restaurants to explore in the vicinity. Puerto de Pollença also offers water-sports, a water park for children, and a golf course can also be found just outside the town.
Also to the north of Pollença is Cala Sant Vicenc, one of Mallorca’s smaller resorts, and home to three beaches: Cala Molins, Cala Barques and Cala Clara. The landscape is dramatic and hilly, with rugged cliffs and rocks, and its popularity with visitors has seen it develop some excellent restaurants, tapas bars and useful amenities.
Further down the coast, Alcúdia has a large marina, serving as a boarding point for boat trips to Menorca and the Spanish mainland. The town is considered one of the most attractive in the area, so don’t miss out on seeing its historic centre, visiting the open-air market or seeing Spain’s smallest Roman amphitheatre.
Many beautiful places can be found in the areas further inland, such as the Natural Park S’Albufera, the largest of its kind in the Balearics. Pollensa is easily accessible, with Palma de Mallorca Airport around 60km away.
