Villa Crista is a unique, charming property, set in more than an acre of the exclusive Colonya Valley opposite Pollenca’s Golf Course, yet within walking distance of the beautiful Old Town and just a 10-minute drive to Puerto Pollenca and Cala San Vicente beaches. The property has a romantic atmosphere throughout, the ideal family retreat away from home.

The villa offers traditional Mallorcan stone walls both outside and inside, with modern furnishings creating an admirable blend of character and contemporary styles. The property has the benefit of separate upper and lower level accommodation, in this way, Villa Crista offers the perfect opportunity for two families or large extended families wishing to be based in the same villa but with plenty of space to find peace and quiet individually. On the upper level, there is a homely living room and a large open plan kitchen/dining area, ideal for socialising as a group. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms on this level. The furnishing is that of a home away from home, so you can truly settle in from the moment you enter the door. On the pool level, there is the separate villa apartment, offering a further living/dining room, kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

These internal aspects of the property show off views out to the superb outdoor spaces. If al-fresco dining is your thing, then Villa Crista will be perfect for you. There are stunning outside dining/lounging areas and terraces, bathed in sunshine throughout the day as well as providing ample shade when needed. Surrounded by native plants and trees, large, open terraces with stunning mountain views make this a perfect setting for a relaxing family vacation. If the large private swimming pool isn’t enough entertainment for kids, Villa Crista has the latest technology, with flat screen televisions, iPod docking stations, Wii games systems, Apple TV and Wi-fi throughout the villa. It will be a holiday you will not forget, with a remarkable villa is a fantastic location.

What you should know…

  • The twin bedroom in the lower house, has a curtain to separate it from the living area, so it is not totally enclosed
  • Although the villa is a 20-25 minute stroll to town, we recommend a car for small errands and trips to the local beaches
  • In late July each year, the Moors and Christians Festival takes place in Pollensa with a week of festivities culminating in the carnival on the 2nd of August. During this period visitors can expect loud music and celebrations into the night, especially on the 2nd of August.
  • Adding to the charm of the property, cats live on the property grounds so this villa may not be suitable for those who are allergic to animals

The property is located just a short distance from the historic town of Pollensa, and only a short drive to the beautiful bays of Puerto Pollensa and Cala San Vicente.

Pollensa has everything you need for a wonderful holiday, situated inland from some of Spain's finest sand beaches. The town itself centres around beautiful cobbled streets leading to a traditional church. Wander the streets that lead to the church to discover traditional outlets selling a range of foods, arts and crafts as well as cafes, restaurants and bars. The highlight of the week is the authentic and traditional market that occurs every Sunday morning. Get there early to secure the freshest fruit, vegetables, meat and fish.

The Calvari steps provide the best view of the local area, but be warned that to get to the top you have to climb 365 of them. However, the climb is worth it and the views definitely do not disappoint.

Security deposit €600 charged to the client's credit card as a pre-authorisation at least 2 weeks prior to arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to a full inspection.

End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.

    From the moment I decided to book for a family holiday until the moment we landed back in the UK, Oliver's Travels service was five star.
    The villa (Villa Crista) was perfect. Beautiful inside and out set in the hills up from Pollenca. A real gem.
    The welcome pack was such a lovely gesture and greatly received as the children were beginning to get "hangry!"
    Although we didn't hire a cook or use a babysitter it was good to know those services were available.
    We will definitely be booking again with Oliver's Travels and next time make sure it's for longer as a week flew by!
