A traditional and spacious villa located in the popular region of Cala d’Or, Finca Calonge, offers guests a plethora of amenities for them to enjoy. The exterior of Finca Calonge exudes luxury, hosting a large fenced pool in the middle of the grounds. Opposite the pool is a patch of perfectly manicured grass, helping to blend multiple aspects of nature into one property. The outdoor porch area within this villa is the ideal spot for unique outdoor dining experiences. As such, guests can enjoy an assortment of delicious meals whilst gazing out at the idyllic views.
 
This property is spread out across two main floors, offering a bright and airy atmosphere throughout the property. When you first enter the ground floor, you will be greeted with a stylish and contemporary living room. This room uses a broad sofa that faces an expansive flatscreen TV. Therefore, this is a suitable space for much-needed family time whilst on holiday. Moreover, the living room contains an exposed brick accent wall, drawing your attention across the entire space. Following on from the living area, you will then come across the combined kitchen/dining area. Finca Calonge uses a solid wood dining table in order to create a more collective feel when enjoying family meals. Plus, this timeless table is surrounded by a collection of modern chairs, helping to blend modernity and tradition. The kitchen within this property effortlessly creates a sense of unforgettable style. With its rich brown cupboards and classic marble surfaces, this area offers everything you would need and more. The first bedroom within Finca Calonge can also be found on this floor. This room contains a luxurious double bed as well as its own en-suite shower room.
 
The first floor contains the other four bedrooms. The first two rooms contain plump double beds that are fitted with a set of minimalist linens. In turn, this creates a serene and peaceful atmosphere as you fall asleep each night. The other two rooms are twin rooms, making use of a pair of single beds. Thus, these rooms are perfect for children or for guests who would rather sleep separately.

Finca Calonge places guests into the heart of this truly vibrant beach resort, with Cala d’Or just 4 km away. Here, you will find an array of exciting things to do, ensuring that there is something for everyone to enjoy. Less than 30-minutes away from Cala d’Or is the wondrous Drach Caves. These magnificent caves have been a much-loved tourist destination for many years, attracting guests from around the world. Drach Caves are best known for their long-lasting and intricate structures, making every crevice a unique sight. Guests can also partake in a small boat trip that takes you along the widespread underground lake. This tour is over an hour long and allows guests to hear a classical music concert as they pass through the caves. Tickets can be purchased online for a reduced rate, with a child’s ticket costing €8 and an adult ticket costing €15.
 
If you love to shop until you drop whilst on holiday, Cala d’Or offers a selection of designer shopping districts. Avinguda Tagomago is just a 2-minute walk away from the centre of Cala d’Or, bringing some of Mallorca’s finest boutiques right to your doorstep. This far-reaching high street presents an array of designer clothing stores, opulent shoe stores, and even multiple leather shops. This is the perfect location to grab a few souvenirs as well as pick up a selection of designer items along the way.
 
Many guests are eager to try out a new sport whilst enjoying their time on holiday. Cala d’Or Tennis Club is just a 15-minute walk away from the Marina, making it a very accessible tourist destination. With over 25 years of experience, this club offers guests the chance to learn the basic elements of tennis alongside some of the finest instructors in the world. There are a total of 5 clay courts on-site, each costing €15 per hour to rent. In addition, all essential equipment can be hired within the club, which means that you do not have to worry about purchasing the correct equipment before you go. Moreover, there is also a unique bar area for guests to indulge in after an exhilarating game of tennis.

THE REGION

Cala d'Or – or the 'Golden Bay' – is a popular beach area on the southeast coast of Mallorca, south of Portocolom and neighbouring the coastal town of Portopetro. In Cala d'Or you really get an all-round holiday experience with wonderful beaches, interesting excursions, well-preserved nature and varied nightlife.

Cala d'Or is an excellent spot for a beach holiday thanks to its impressive facilities and wonderful beaches. Huge fun is the mini 'train' which runs along the roads for holidaymakers between the main resort and beaches. The town is also a great base for exploring some of the best natural and historical sights that southeast Mallorca has to offer.

Cala d’Or is a very family-friendly resort, providing children of all ages with an array of fun things to do. Finca Calonge is just a short walk away from Cala d’Or beach, a tremendous location that offers a lot of amenities. This beach expertly blends soft, warm sands with a widespread area of inviting water. As the sea is only around 100m deep, children are encouraged to go for a light swim and see this beach’s natural beauty up close. Cala d’Or beach is teeming with facilities, ensuring that you will not wish for anything more during your time there. There are a collection of sun loungers and parasols available to rent as well as a few toilets and showers on-site. Plus, this beach also includes an off-beat bar, which sells a wide range of snacks and refreshments.
 
If you wish to take your children to see the true history of Cala d’Or, then Es Forti is an ideal attraction. First built in 1730 as an innovative military base, Es Forti is now considered to be a key asset to Mallorca’s rich history. This base was declared a Site of Cultural Interest in 1949 and has been attracting curious guests ever since. This tourist hotspot is less than a 10-minute drive away from the centre of Cala d’Or, meaning that guests can come and visit the attraction at any point during their stay. This military base is free to enter all year round, and in the summer months, it is used to host a range of exciting events and festivals.
 
Older children will love exploring Cala d’Or’s wide range of evening markets. The Cala Egos Evening Market can be found in Santanyi, which is around 20-minutes away from Cala d’Or. As such, this creates a bustling market within easy reach. Allow your children to examine the wide range of market stalls and see what the diverse merchants have to offer. Many local businesses sell their products here, including bags, clothes, and other souvenirs. Thus, children can pick up a few items that truly incorporate the lively spirit of Cala d’Or. The Cala Egos Evening Market is held every Thursday from 6 pm till 11:30 pm.

Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.

Security deposit €300 charged to client's credit card as a pre-authorisation at least 2 weeks prior to arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.
Arrival time 4 pm.
Departure time 10 am.
End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or garbage disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Linen & towels included? Bed linen and bath towels are included in the rental price.
Energy costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Heating costs included? Not included in the rental price. Underfloor heating is available on request and at an extra cost of €30 per day to be paid locally.
Internet access? Wi-Fi internet access included in rental price.
Minimum stay 7 nights. All other durations on request.
Changeover day Saturday.
Pets welcome? Not allowed.
Smoking Allowed? Smoking and vaping are not permitted.
Tax Tourist Tax included in the rental price.
Insurance Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, personal belongings, personal liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.
Other Ts and Cs - First cot and highchair included in the rental price, second item will have an extra cost of €35 per week per item, please enquire. - Please note that the air conditioning works on a timer, available from 1 pm - 4 pm and from 10 pm - 7 am.
- 24 hour air conditioning can be purchased on request and at an extra cost of €25 per day, to be paid locally.
Other Ts and Cs Closer to your arrival date we will send you a link to a registration form that must be completed at least two weeks prior to your arrival date. This is compulsory and failure to complete the form, before arrival, may cause issues gaining access to your holiday villa.
