The 19th-century farmhouse has been thoroughly renovated to present a unique getaway home filled with character. It has been restored to the highest standards, seamlessly blending an eclectic mix of old and new, local and foreign and modern and antique. The estate compromises of the main villa and a cottage, and a mammoth outdoor area where you can either relax or have loads of fun!

Step from the lawn in front of the house passing the fragrant fruit trees and pass into the living room. You can combine the terrace with the living area to make it more expansive and give it the relaxing touch of the temperate weather. This room has plump sofas and a television for all the family and an open fireplace, to add a touch of intimacy on an evening! Head into the kitchen, fully equipped and masterfully designed, where meals can be gorged down on the dining table with seating for eight.  

The main home in Villa Frontera features three stunning bedrooms, two equipped with single, double beds and a room with twin double beds. Rustic in style, the rooms with single double beds both have access to private terraces, where you can sip coffees in the morning or sip wine in the evening, admiring the sheer beauty of the surroundings. The cottage, with its neutral finishes, helps highlight the vivid and rich natural scenery. Self-contained, guests who choose to stay here have a fully equipped kitchen and a dining and sitting area around an open fireplace. On the opposite side from the kitchen, doors and windows open onto the covered terrace. The double bedroom and bathroom are also on the ground floor, by the main room, with direct access to the outdoor area. Stairs lead you up to a mezzanine level with two single beds giving four guests an exclusive place within this private estate.

The villa sits in the glory of the open countryside, in a natural park that extends stretches of rich fields, valleys and tree land. Spend any hour of the day under the shade of the giant carob tree at the outdoor kitchen and dining area, with seating for all ten guests. Guests are free to relax on sofas and seating all around the exterior as well as taking a dip whenever they like, in the amazing pool. Enjoy games such as tennis outside and a whole heap of fun activities!

  • Whilst children are welcome please be advised that there are some unfenced drops around the pool, a lot of steps around and about this hillside property and rocks and currents in the river. Due care and attention must be taken at all times
  • Please be aware that there is no air conditioning in this property, but there are ceiling fans and plenty of portable ones to keep you cool!

Villa Frontera sits just 1 kilometre from the time-honoured Spanish village of Jimena de la Frontera and just thirty minutes from the coast. One of the traditional Pueblos Blancos, the village offers guests an opportunity to step back in time with it's 13th- century Moorish castle, towering over the entire area!, Heading through the streets, guests will find all they need to spend as much time in the village, with spots such as bars, and restaurants dotted both through the town and up the hill towards the castle! As well as this, grab some scratch from banks, stock up on groceries in supermarkets and there's even a train station, should you wish to venture further!

The Hozgarganta River flows past the property and through the village, so guests can hike along its route and enjoy the abundance of natural beauty. Lovers of birds or bird-watchers are in for a treat because along with the wide variety of indigenous birds, you may also sight some of the rarest birds across the continent and globe, such as Griffon vultures, Egyptian vultures and also the rare Imperial and Royal Eagle! Villa Frontera also benefits from being in proximity of the Alcornocales Natural Park, one of the largest national parks in Spain. and you can stop there after your walk along the river for even more helpings or organic beauty!

Head down to Playa de Torreguardio for your share of seaside fun. This popular beach offers fine grains of sand to relax on, with or without rental of sun-loungers and parasols. The crystal-clear, blue seas invite you to relieve yourself from the sun and enjoy a swim! You can amp up the fun with water-sports, from mellow voyages on kayaks to rip-roaring fun on jet-skis!

The estate is gated, offering an additional level of security for families and outdoors, has been adorned with fragrant and shade-providing trees on lawns, perfect for picnics or to frolic and play.

Security deposit €600 charged to client’s credit card by the owner before/upon arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.

End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
