Villa Fabiola is located less than ten minutes away by car from Lagos, a historical and lively city that is situated on the beautiful Western Algarve coastline. The villa holds a lovely position, with beautiful gardens making it the ideal holiday home for families or groups of friends.
This traditional Portuguese Villa features rustic interiors with simple furnishings; the spacious property comfortably sleeps up to twelve guests across five bedrooms set out over three levels. On the ground floor is the central living accommodation, which comprises of a large living room that opens out to the pool terrace, a fully-equipped fitted kitchen and dining room.
The first of the bedrooms are on the ground floor, two twin rooms as well as a family bathroom. Heading upstairs, on the first floor are two double bedrooms, both of which benefit from en-suite bathrooms and balcony access. Heading back downstairs, on the lower ground floor, is an open-plan second living room area with kitchen, dining area and a pool table.
There is even a fun bar area down here, the perfect place for the adults to spend an evening! Also on this level, is a sofa bed which can accommodate a further two guests as well as two extra beds which can be placed here or in one of the master suites upon request.
The villa makes use of its natural terrace to provide a beautiful outdoor sunbathing area, shaded thatch gazebo with dining table and chairs, covered barbecue space and a sun-drenched swimming pool, there are also umbrellas and palm trees to snooze your days away under.
Do not forget that Villa Fabiola is at 600 metres away of Boavista Golf Course in case you want to bring your clubs and practise your swings. 2.5 km away is Lagos town centre, from where you can visit and explore other parts of the Algarve coastline or enjoy the numerous activities that can be found within a short distance, like grotto tours, cliff walks, water sports and sailing excursion to Ponta de Sagres.

What you should know…
- While the villa has a great location, a car is recommended to access Lagos town, supermarket and beaches and to explore the beautiful area beyond
- Air conditioning is only in the bedrooms on the ground floor and first floor, not the lower ground level
- The bedrooms being spread over three levels may suit a group of friends better than a family with particularly young children

About the surrounding area of Villa FabiolaEnjoy a break from the city staying in charming Villa Fabiola, far from the tourist crowds and traffic jams. The villa is located 2.5 km from Lagos Port and old town. As a holiday destination, Lagos offers visitors glorious beaches, beautiful pedestrian old town centre full of local shops with handcrafted souvenirs and a lovely family owned restaurants with fresh local products.
The Algarve coastline offers a great combination of beach and mountain options, one of our favourites beaches is Praia Porto de Mõs at the far end of the town, but only 6 minutes drive from Villa Fabiola! It is a long and wide open sandy beach, surrounded by stunning cliff views and beautiful sunsets to let yourself experienced the Portuguese scenery.
It's an excellent spot for surfing or tossing a Frisbee or football. Porto de Mos beach is a family-friendly beach that provides clean bathing waters and is supervised by a lifeguard during the summer season. Campo do Mar is an ideal beachside restaurant-bar at Porto do Mõs, for a meal or snack at any time of day.
In the afternoon you could discover the old town gems. It is a must to visit Santo Antonio chapel, as well as the town museum where you can learn more about the history of Lagos and the region. After immersing yourself in culture and history, you can indulge in a well deserved refreshing drink in any of the pubs and bars. However, if you still have energy after this, you could continue the evening into the buzzing Portuguese nightlife.

THE REGION
Lagos is a city on the western part of Portugal's south coast. The city is famous for its stunning beaches with beautiful rock formations and steep cliffs. The superb beauty of this charming city has no equal in the Algarve and is the reason why hordes of tourists travel thousands of kilometres to visit it every year.
Quiet sandy coves are sandwiched between dramatic cliffs. The sandy 2.5-mile stretch of Meia Praia caters to every water sport imaginable. And when you've had your fill, you can digest your day with some of the best nightlife in the Algarve region.
Drinking and good times continue to be a fundamental part of a visit to Lagos, and the fine array of restaurants, bars and local festas stand as a testament to this. The busy flea market fills the centre's narrow streets, which also boasts a Cultural Centre hosting various exhibitions and events throughout the year.
Lagos is equally suited as a family holiday destination; there are safe and sheltered beaches for your children, while thrill-seeking teenagers will adore the theme and water parks.

Best Suited For: All AgesLagos beaches provide joyful activities for all ages, from kayak tours to excellent walking and hiking trails to Ponta da Piedade.
If what your family likes is water parks and theme parks, you can enjoy the water park 'Slide & Splash' within a short 30 minutes drive, or maybe a fun day out in Lagos Zoo or Sealife-Dolphin watching, both a 10-15 minutes drive from Villa Fabiola.
The whole family will enjoy fantastic food in the seaside restaurants or can sample the local cuisine in Lagos old town.
The nature of the place invites you to explore other towns along the coast that is why we recommend planning some excursions to cities like Sagres and Cabo de Sao Vicente, Portimao and Praia de Rocha.

Great holiday!
The villa offers plenty of space, has a large pool (14 x 6m) and a beautiful garden with its own barbecue house. Although the house is getting on a bit, everything was very well maintained except for small things. The location is also very good, 5 minutes by car to the beach or to the shopping facilities.

I would definitely recommend the house
The house was lovely and had everything we needed. Some very minor things – the kitchen tap dripped a little and we couldn’t find a manual for the washing machine, so there was a bit of guess work in operating it!

Good experience
A nice, quiet and very clean house. The kitchen equipment could be more complete. The pool is great and the proximity to supermarkets and the city centre is very good.

The property is amazing
The house is even better than the photos in the advert. We had a small issue with the hot water, but the host responded and repaired it in a few hours. Very good service and great area.

Fabulous family villa
We have been to Villa Fabiola twice now with our family. Its a great villa on the outskirts of lagos. There is plenty of room for everyone and the kids love the pool. I would highly recommend it for families
