Pool Villa/House Wellness Ideal for Kids

Laptop Friendly Workspace All Bedrooms En-Suite

We are delighted to add to our portfolio yet another luxurious Provençal abode created by the inspiring architect couple behind the likes of Mas Du Brahma and Le Mas des Alpilles. Le Mas Boreal enjoys a privileged setting only 1.5km from the perched village of Les Baux-de-Provence.

This beautiful bastide exudes contemporary elegance and comfort alongside a rich heritage. The attention to detail is second to none, as we have come to expect from the owners. From original stone or parquet flooring and lime stone walls to stylish furnishings, fixtures and artwork sourced from talented artists and designers, guests can embrace the seamless blend of tradition and modernity. Create Provençal feasts in the professionally-equipped kitchen with its Falcon cooking range or allow a chef to do the work for you. Other bespoke services can be arranged and daily housekeeping is included.

Sleeping up to 10 guests, the bastide houses four sumptuous doubles whilst the fifth bedroom is in an annexe by the swimming pool. There is air-conditioning across all bedrooms alongside designer king-size beds, custom luxury bedding and gorgeous en suite bathrooms with Italian showers (the large master bedroom also features an Italian bathtub).

Set amongst ancient olive trees and majestic pines, the vistas from the terrace are idyllic. Enjoy complimentary breakfast beneath the pergola on the large terrace, then later in the day gather around the outdoor lounge’s brasero overlooking the landscapes of Les Alpilles. Follow steps down to the infinity heated swimming pool where you can sunbathe on the loungers, feast by the pool house’s summer kitchen or swim accompanied by the soothing sound of the little stone waterfalls.

The historic charm of Les Baux-de-Provence, one of France’s ‘Plus Beaux Villages’, awaits – head up early to avoid the summer visitors and truly admire the incredible vistas of the Baux valley. For a change of scene, soak up the joyful ambience of nearby Maussane-les-Alpilles, a bustling Provençal village loved for its gastronomy, or appreciate the beauty of hilltop Eygalières a little further afield.

Visit the art galleries and Wednesday morning market of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, follow Alphonse Daudet’s windmill trail near Fontvieille or spend time in Arles, famed for its Roman history, Van Gogh heritage and art exhibitions. Not forgetting the iconic perched villages of the Luberon, the vineyards of the Rhône valley, the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Avignon and even the captivating Camargue, all easily reached from your magnificent Provençal home.

Le Mas Boreal is set amongst ancient olive trees and pines with glorious vistas of the surrounding Parc des Alpilles, only 1.5km from one of France’s ‘Plus Beaux Villages’.

If flying, arrive at Avignon, Nimes or Marseille Airport or take the fast TGV train service from Paris to Gare d’Avignon TGV only half an hour away. The bastide and its surrounding grounds is located just off the road that connects Les Baux-de-Provence and Fontvieille, meaning easy access to several villages and towns across Les Alpilles and beyond.

Les Baux-de-Provence (1.5km) is one of the region’s most loved villages, visited for its incredible perched setting, historic charm and famous château. Stroll down the medieval lanes, perhaps stopping off in a restaurant or cafe, and admire the most stunning landscapes of Les Baux valley from various viewpoints across the village.

Close to the village, discover wonderful walking trails through the surrounding olive groves and woodland (including walks and cycle rides straight from the property), appreciate the artwork of Carrières des Lumières and head to nearby farms to try local produce such as goat’s cheese, wine and some of France’s finest extra virgin olive oil.

Gastronomes will also adore Maussane-les-Alpilles (3km), a bustling village with a pretty square filled with restaurant terraces beneath the plane trees. The village, which hosts a market on a Thursday morning, has gained a reputation for its food across its many restaurants and little shops. Le Bistrot du Paradou (2.5km) is another culinary highlight of the area.

Then there’s the huge Wednesday morning market in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence (12km), a vibrant town with a rich artistic heritage. Or the high-end restaurants, atmospheric markets, art exhibitions and historic sites of Arles (17km), the gateway to the captivating Camargue and Mediterranean coast (Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer is around an hour away).

Other gems of Les Alpilles include the authentic village of Fontvieille (7km) with its old cinema and windmill walking trail alongside charming hilltop Eygalières (20km) where A-list celebrities have been known to buy houses.

Meanwhile, the iconic perched villages of the Luberon such as Gordes, Ménerbes and Roussillon are around an hour away or you may prefer to spend time exploring the UNESCO World Heritage sites, markets, wine-bars and restaurants of Avignon (32km), only half an hour by car.
