As you walk through this beautiful villa, every corner is truly delightful, from the charming private terrace, beautiful swimming pool, relaxed furnishings and character features, Villa Clarandana offers the perfect base for enjoying Menorca!
Each room throughout this single storey villa features a modern design, with simple, tasteful furniture that offers a blank canvas, allowing you to feel relaxed and at home, using your own belonging to settle in to the place. White walls, character features and bright window openings flood the living spaces with light, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere that encourages you to completely relax, focusing your energy on catching up and spending quality time with your family and friends.
With all the living spaces on one floor, there is an easy flow to the property that suits families looking for ease and relaxation. There is a living and dining room, with beamed ceilings and traditional features that add a homely feel to the room. With comfy sofas arranged around the television, the space is perfect for quiet evenings in, or taking a break from the hot afternoon sun. From here there are elegant doors leading out to the outdoor dining area and fabulous terrace, so even if some guests are inside and some out, everyone remains nearby, sharing chatter and laughter throughout the day and evening! The kitchen has been well-equipped for your use, so you can opt to prepare family favourites or maybe try your hand at some local delicacies that you try at the nearby restaurants.
Throughout the villa, there are four spacious bedrooms, including a twin room with its own en-suite bathroom, as well as a double and two twin rooms that share two family bathrooms. Each bedroom is spacious, light and airy with vast windows or patio doors leading to the wonderful terrace.
Outdoors, the magic of Villa Clarandana is evident, with sun loungers around the pool, so whether you are topping up your tan or reading your favourite book, there is space for everyone to relax. The private swimming pool allows you to cool off and encourages kids to play and splash about! There is plenty of room for everyone to dine al-fresco long into the evening, sharing a bottle or two of local wine and with a barbecue why not get the whole family involved in the cooking!
What you should know…
- While the area of Binisafúa has a beach and two restaurants, should you wish to travel further afield we would highly recommend access to a car throughout your stay in Menorca
- The pool does not have a fence, so please be careful with young children running around the terrace
- The villa’s location is quiet and peaceful, however for a lively night you can visit the town of Punta Prima, just a short drive away

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa ClarandanaVilla Clarandana is located in the popular area of Binisafúa, a small urbanization on the south east coast of Menorca island. When you want to swim in the sea, the beautiful Binisafúa beach, with its white sandy shores and crystal-clear waters, is less than a 5-minute walk from the villa’s front door.
There are more beaches all within a 10-minute car journey, so you can visit a different one each day, whether it is Binibeca, Punta Prima or Alcaufar, they are all worth a visit. There are two restaurants in Binisafúa, and all other local amenities including supermarkets, pharmacy and banks are a 10-minute drive away in San Luis or Sant Climent.
The journey from the airport to the villa takes less than 15-minutes, so if you are travelling from afar, there is no need to worry about a long journey at the other end. You can pick up your rental car, or hop in a cab, finding yourself at the villa’s front door in no time at all.
Menorca is often described as the quieter of the Balearic Islands, the perfect spot for those looking to completely relax, immersing themselves within the stunning nature, beautiful beaches and delicious local food. Palm-fringed beaches, turquoise seas, white sandy shores and a relaxed atmosphere throughout the island, epitomise Menorca. From the moment you step off the plane, there seems little left to do but relax, settling into the gently pace that the island offers.
If you enjoy the outdoors, then Menorca offers a picturesque setting for activities like walking, cycling or hiking, even for those who aren’t super-fit, and if you’re after the adrenaline rush of your chosen water-sport, there are few better places to go.
The joy of this location, is you can enjoy the peaceful ambience of Binisafúa throughout the day, revelling in the tranquil setting and family-friendly restaurants if you are with young ones. Yet for those moments you desire a romantic night out, or a lively evening out on the town, then just a short drive away are the towns of Mahon and Es Castell, filled with lively entertainment and from which you can enjoy moonlit stolls along the harbour, savouring the romantic atmosphere.

THE REGION
The mellow island of Menorca drums to a slower beat than siblings Mallorca and Ibiza, and therefore perfect if you’re looking for a holiday of rest and relaxation. Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesVilla Clarandana is great for kids, with a simple, family-friendly layout all spread over one floor so you don’t even need to worry about clambering up and down stairs. The location is central so dinners out with the family to the two local restaurants are easy and stress free, walking there and back, ready to tuck any younger ones into bed before settling down for an evening aperitif on the terrace.
Outside, the spacious terrace and private swimming pool offer plenty of room for kids to splash and play, whilst adults can keep a quiet eye from the comfort of a sun lounger. There is no fence around the pool, so younger children may need to be supervised for their safety.
If you require baby cots and high chairs, they can be provided at a small cost, keeping you as comfortable as possible during your stay.
Nearby the villa, all within the beautiful surrounding landscapes, you will find seemingly endless opportunities for an active day out with all the family. Along the coast there are excellent opportunities for outdoor pursuits, suitable for kids of all ages, whether they desire adrenaline inducing water sports, or calmer activities! The scenery can be explored from the comfort of a deck chair, looking up to the hills and mountains, or whilst hiking through, getting a close look at the stunning nature all across the island– be sure to take a special picnic, there are so many idyllic spots to sit, relax, and take in the breath-taking views across the Balearic sea, making unforgettable memories with your loved ones.
For activities as a whole group, Jeep safaris and boat trips are a great option, providing something for guests of all ages, you can explore and play as a family. The boasts explore the picturesque coastline, stopping at spots where you can snorkel, seeing the world beneath the water. The Jeep safaris rattle along dirt tracks in a 4x4, an incredibly fun way to learn about the nature on the island - finished off with a picnic lunch in the Menorcan countryside.
Whether it be a boat trip, or a nature reserve, pony trekking or water sports, Menorca offers such an array of activities, and the restaurant and evening culture is very welcoming to children of all ages.
