A stylish and spacious property based in the idyllic region of Son Bou, Villa Canessies is a fantastic property for groups who are looking to enjoy a tremendous amount of space and amenities. As you approach the exterior of this property, you will see an opulent swimming pool that is filled to the brim with crystal-clear water. In turn, guests are free to use this facility to its fullest potential, splashing around and creating fond memories together as a family. This property also includes a series of marvellous outdoor terraces. As such, guests are encouraged to revel in a series of al fresco dining experiences as they learn to truly appreciate the wondrous sights that surround them.
 
Inside, this property is decorated to the highest degree, ensuring that guests can deeply enjoy their stay in this incredibly contemporary holiday home. The living area showcases a very vibrant lime green sofa that has been expertly paired with a collection of pure white scatter cushions. These off-beat design choices make this the ideal space for guests to kick back and relax as they embrace the awe-inspiring outdoor views that sit close by. The dining area offers a much more neutral and balanced theme, sporting a robust dark wooden table and matching chairs. THE REGION

The resort of Son Bou in the municipality of Alaior, on the south coast of Menorca, is renowned for having the biggest and probably best beach on the island. The resort is located around 20 kilometres from the international airport at Mahon.

Son Bou is a well-developed area containing many restaurants offering a good range of British, Indian, Chinese and Mediterranean dishes, as well as numerous bars, some of which are themed to help entertain young ones.

While the resort is very popular for families, the sheer size of the beach makes it easy for those who prefer to avoid the little ones to find their ideal spots! There is an abundance of natural sand dunes that make a very pleasant backdrop.

Son Bou may boast a very relaxed atmosphere, but it still offers a wealth of invigorating, family-friendly attractions. Club San Jaime is based inside a local resort complex which can be found just a stone’s throw away from Villa Canessies. This immersive water park is the perfect place to visit if you are travelling with a tribe of inquisitive children, as it is packed full of thrilling slides and splash pools. If they do not enjoy the water, they are free to run around freely on the expansive lawn area that can be found here. Towards the end of the day, guests must enjoy a delicious meal at the on-site restaurant to help them recharge their batteries after a busy day.
 
The Son Bou Nature Reserve is one of the most popular landmarks in the region and is situated just under 5 minutes away from the villa. This immense landscape is covered in diverse fauna and interesting wildlife, giving guests the prime opportunity to detach from the hustle and bustle of normal life and truly reconnect with the pristine sights that surround them. You must also set your sights up on the sky, observing a wealth of rare birds such as the Booted Eagle, Blue Rock Thrush, and the Egyptian Vulture. Many previous guests have also recommended that newcomers wear some sort of insect repellent as this park is teeming with nuanced bugs.
 
This region is often commended for its wide variety of flawless beaches, such as Son Bou beach, which is located just a short walk away from the villa. This landmark stretches an astounding 2.5km long and a further 50m wide, covering the entire space with soft white sand and sapphire blue water. As such, this is the ideal space to rest and unwind whilst the children keep busy building sandcastles. This beach is also characterised by a series of titanic cliffs and looming sand dunes, making it a unique location compared to some of the other beaches in this area. Thus, this is a great place to visit if you are looking to revel in some much-needed peace and quiet.

End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or garbage disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.

Insurance Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, loss of personal belongings, personal liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.
Other Ts and Cs A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to confirm a booking at this property (or full payment if booking within 12 weeks of departure).
Other 2 A copy of the lead persons passport must be sent as soon as the deposit payment is made. If the lead person, at this stage, does not have a valid passport then an alternative person will need to be the lead person of the booking. The owner will not accept the booking unless he has a copy of a passport is submitted.
