Location
About the surrounding area of Villa AdrianaVilla Adriana is located in Sa Pobla, just minutes away from the ancient town of Pollensa and all it has to offer, including the nine-hole Pollensa golf course. If you decide to venture no further than Sa Pobla, you won’t be disappointed. The town is the perfect place to unwind and relax, and visitors here spend their time strolling through the pretty streets and the ambient old quarter, visiting the traditional Mallorcan shops selling fresh, local produce and crafts, or relaxing in one of the bars, cafes or family-run restaurants that are plentiful in the area.
The town is famous for its potato harvest (in fact, it holds a festival in the humble vegetable’s honour every year, ‘Fira Nocturna de la Patata’, where revellers can enjoy music and dancing alongside traditional and modern potato dishes. If you want to really immerse yourself in the culture while you’re here (and we highly recommend that you do!), an amble around the local parish church and the Can planes Museum of Contemporary Art will give you a fascinating insight into Sa Pobla’s history. The museum showcases more than a hundred works by artists from or living in Mallorca, with the collection including many sculptures and temporary exhibits as well as paintings.
Sa Pobla is the perfect base for your Mallorcan holiday thanks to the fact that it is so well served by transport links, meaning you are within easy distance of everything you could possibly want from this stunning Mediterranean isle. Sa Pobla’s close proximity to the coast means that the beautiful beaches of Alcudia, Pollensa and Can Picafort are just a short journey away, as is Albufera’s famous wildlife nature park.
With Pollensa right on your doorstep, we highly recommend visiting the town during your stay. Quieter than some of Mallorca’s tourist spots, you’ll find that the beaches are slightly less busy, making it a good choice for those travelling to the region with children. Puerto Pollensa beach is undoubtedly the most popular with families and has great amenities such as umbrella rental, sports facilities and lots of cafes, bars and restaurants.
A popular attraction with visitors to Pollensa is the Calvari Steps, which lead from the Placa Major to the top of the town, where you’ll discover the beautiful little Church of Nostra Senyora dels Angels - there are allegedly 365 steps, so be sure to wear suitable footwear! At midday, the light spills through the church’s gorgeous stained glass windows, which really is a sight to behold, but whatever time you visit, you’ll be rewarded with this stunning building’s intricate interior, as well as some incredible views over the town.

THE REGION
Sa Pobla is a small municipality with around 12,000 inhabitants, which is situated in the centre of Mallorca, between Inca and Alcúdia. Sa Pobla is known for its agriculture and the humble potato, in particular, gets a lot of attention here as it is exported to many countries and a festival is even held in its honour each year.
The town of Sa Pobla is partly on the Albufera nature reserve (Parc natural de s'Albufera de Mallorca), a protected wetland area. The nature reserve is particularly good for bird watching as well as hikes and walks.
Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesVilla Adriana offers a beautiful place to stay with the kids, with its gorgeous gardens with mature trees offering plenty of shade, a private pool, and high-tech entertainment like satellite TV, DVD player and WiFi. Air conditioning throughout keeps things comfortable, and there are two twin rooms for them to choose from.
The town of Sa Pobla has plenty of family-friendly attractions, from the colourful Sunday market to the toys and games museum, which is bursting with exhibits that are sure to delight the kids. There is a wide choice of restaurants and cafes in the town offering refreshments and dishes to suit all ages, and strolling through the pretty streets with an after-dinner ice cream in hand is something the whole family can enjoy.
If you fancy a bit of a change of scenery from the town where the kids can burn off some energy, Sa Pobla is located partly on the Albufera nature reserve, a protected wetland area that is popular with bird watchers and is the perfect spot for hiking, walking and cycling.
If there are any horse-lovers in the family, Hipica Formentor riding stable in Sa Pobla offers to ride experiences for even the youngest children. At this natural horse care stable, the horses are ridden barefoot and bitless and are managed in an environment that reflects their natural state in the wild, making them particularly friendly and a pleasure to ride for both beginners and more advanced riders. The kids will love being able to pet and groom the horse before being led on a ride on horses chosen, especially for their age and size.
Sa Pobla is just minutes from Pollensa, an ancient town with pretty cobbled streets, a marina and a promenade. This charming former fishing village isn’t huge, with everything accessible on foot (so it shouldn’t be too tiring for the little ones!), and is much quieter than some of the other tourist hotspots. We recommend heading to the sandy stretches of Puerto Pollensa beach while you’re here; undoubtedly the most popular in the area with families. This gorgeous beach has great amenities such as umbrella rental, sports facilities and lots of cafes, bars and restaurants, so you’ll really be able to make a day of it.

We will be back!
We stayed in this property with a family friend in Mallorca during the autumn holidays - it was SUPER! The grounds are beautiful, very well maintained and the house is spotlessly clean - you immediately feel at home. For us it was great that each bedroom has its own bathroom. The equipment leaves nothing to be desired, especially the detailed and loving furnishing of the kitchen. If you feel like it and have stocked up at the markets, you can cook a feast here - everything is available! We had a wonderful and relaxing time in this beautiful villa, the children had so much fun running around the property, swimming in the pool or playing table tennis. From the property you can reach everything very quickly with a rental car - shopping, restaurants and various beaches. We will be back!

We automatically felt like at home
We stayed in this beautiful finca for a week in summer 2019. The owners the owners were wonderful, we were informed about shopping possibilities, parking at the beach and recommended restaurants, parking possibilities at the beach and recommended restaurants and could therefore start our start our holiday in a relaxed way. The furnishing of the finca is very well thought out, you automatically feel at home. There was nothing we would have missed. The beds are very comfortable, everything gives the impression of being new, very well maintained and clean. There were no ants in the house, as we have had other experiences in Mallorca. The garden and the pool are a dream, it is very quiet and for the kids there is a whole garden house full of toys and beach equipment. with toys and beach equipment, you don't need to bring anything. We would love to come again!

Ot the last time we stayed at Villa Adriana
We spent the winter in Mallorca with our two daughters (3 and 6) and their grandmother and stayed for five weeks at Villa Adriana. In the generously modern equipped rooms, everything you could wish for with children has been thought of. Children's chairs, steps for the bathroom, children's cutlery and crockery for indoors and outdoors were available, as well as various games, books and indoor and outdoor toys. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped anyway, so that even if you are a very keen cook, you can get started. After a visit to the beach, you could enjoy the sunshine on the well-kept pool terrace in the afternoon. Patrick was always available and helpful, so this was definitely not the last time we stayed at Villa Adriana.

Nothing was missing
We visited the finca as 3 couples and were more than satisfied. Nothing was missing, whether in the house or leisure activities. Even the first contact with Mr. S. was extremely pleasant. Even with questions or problems, he always helped us immediately and in a very good mood. We would recommend anyone to rent this finca and would not want to leave again. It is quite possible that we will be repeat offenders.

The house, the property and its location are indescribably beautiful
It takes 40 minutes by car from the airport. Whether shopping, swimming at the beach or visiting attractions, everything can be reached very comfortably and quickly. The house, the property and its location are indescribably beautiful. You feel at home right away. A large living room with an equally large open kitchen allows the guest to look out over the pool and the mountains. 3 beautiful bedrooms, each with its own bathroom/shower and 1 bathtub offer sleeping accommodation for 6 people. Each room is equipped with a super air conditioner. Nothing is missing. From a game collection, travel guides, books/children's books and DVDs to a table tennis table, darts and pool toys, everything is available Even before our arrival we had very nice contact with the landlord of the house. Here we received many tips, from the best

I would highly recommend Villa Adriana
We stayed at Villa Adriana for 2 weeks in August and loved it. It is a beautiful villa. There is an en-suite bathroom for each guest and a kitchen equipped with everything you need. The villa is very spacious, clean and we had had more than enough space as a family of 4. The Pool and gardens are immaculately kept and just what you need to cool down and to relax the day away under the Mallorcan sun watching the wildlife around you. There are comfortable sun beds and we had beach towels provided. The area is quiet and the villa is very close to the local supermarkets Lidl and Eroski. There are various beaches within a short drive as is the beautiful town of Pollenca which is well worth visiting. The villa felt very safe and secure with electric front gates and also a car port to the rear. The table tennis table was fun and it was good to have some pool/beach toys and equipment, particularly parasols. Sarah and Patrick were very helpful and communicated with us quickly from the booking stage to the point of arrival, answering any questions we had. We were given detailed directions to Villa Adriana and some great recommendations for beaches, supermarkets and restaurants. I would highly recommend Villa Adriana and hope to stay again in the future.

A dream for people seeking relaxation and nature
We spent a very relaxing and wonderful holiday in Villa Adriana. The villa is fully and lovingly equipped, with everything you need on holiday and even more (also for children, but we did not have them with us)... everything is in top condition, exactly as in the photos and the description. The garden with large pool is very well maintained and you have a fantastic view from the terrace. The villa is centrally located, so you can explore a lot by car. We enjoyed using the information and tips from the very nice landlord family, which we received in advance of the holiday. Whether it was the beach, shopping or restaurants, it was always a hit. In particular, we would like to mention the fruit and vegetable shop in Sa Pobla, from which we returned to the villa every day with large bags full of fresh and delicious things to eat. It was really fun to cook for ourselves. But of course the 7-course menu in the small and from the outside completely unimpressive restaurant Mare Nostrum was also a highlight of our holiday. Our tip: it is best to book a table there before your holiday, it is always fully booked and rightly so! We can only say: Villa Adriana is a dream for people seeking relaxation and nature and always worth a holiday.
