Old stylishly meets new at this most beautifully renovated villa, which is nestled away in the north Mallorcan countryside just outside the ancient town of Pollensa. A delightful villa that comfortably sleeps 6 guests; the modernised rural retreat is a fabulous choice for a family holiday.

On arrival, you’ll be taken by the one storey villa’s traditional natural stone façade, and inside even more so by the spacious sitting room filled with modern and vintage décor.

Stone tiled flooring and high ceilings with original beams create an airy ambience, while the L-shaped sofa, large satellite TV, open fireplace, coffee table, and French doors that open out to the beautiful terrace, makes for a lovely spot to chill.

Through a large archway lies the modern kitchen and dining area, with the traditional wooden cupboards, contrasting against the white walls and modern amenities and a large dining table, which is an excellent spot for breakfast.
The villa has three stunning bedrooms, all with brilliant white walls, stone flooring, wooden beams, and ensuite bathrooms.

The master bedroom has a big double bed and private access to the covered terrace. The two twin rooms with single beds are ideal for younger guests.
Outside you’ll find immaculate gardens, with lush lawns and Mediterranean plants and trees which surround the quiet private swimming pool.

It’s an idyllic spot for sunbathing on the wooden decking with sun loungers provided where you can recline and take in the magnificent mountain views.

There is also a spacious covered terrace, with bougainvillaea beautifully creeping up the pillars, and an outdoor dining table and barbecue area, ideal for nights of al fresco dining.

Nearby, you’ll find the Pollensa Golf Course and an abundance of mountain and forest walks, if you’re feeling active.

What you should know…

  • There is no fence around the pool area so make sure children are accompanied by an adult when using the pool
  • In late July each year, the Moors and Christians Festival takes place in Pollensa with a week of festivities culminating in the carnival on the 2nd of August. During this period visitors can expect loud music and celebrations into the night, especially on the 2nd of August.

In Sa Pobla, you have a wonderful chance to wind down and chill out, seemingly a million miles away from the pressures of the modern world. Small pretty streets, traditional Mallorcan shops selling mouthwateringly fresh local produce and local crafts, and at the heart of it all the beautiful old quarter which gives Sa Pobla its special ambience.

The pace of life is gentle in Sa Pobla. It’s a wonderful place to amble around, stopping for a cafe con leche in one of the bars or cafes, or enjoying a tasty traditional Mallorcan meal in one of the town’s family-run restaurants. If you fancy a little culture, take a gentle stroll around Sa Pobla’s museum. This, together with the local parish church, will give you a fascinating insight into the history of the town.

As is the case in many Mallorcan traditional towns there is a weekly market held on Sunday mornings in the town square. If you are with children on a family holiday, then a visit to the town’s museum of toys and games is a no brainer. Suitable for children of all ages, the fascinating display will keep the little ones occupied for hours.

One of the best things about Sa Pobla is its splendid location. Virtually everything you’ve ever wanted from this lovely Mediterranean isle is within easy reach of the town. There is beautiful countryside to be explored in the vicinity, and being near to the coast, you can visit the delightful beaches to the north of the town in places like Port d’Alcudia and Can Picafort, as well as the renowned wildlife nature park at S’Albufera.

Incidentally, the area surrounding Sa Pobla is known as “the land of a thousand windmills”, a pointer to the strong agricultural tradition associated with the area. An added advantage and a major one at that is that Sa Pobla is so well served by transport links. Not only are there major roads connecting you with the capital Palma, but also one of the lines of Mallorca’s fast and efficient rail network terminates at Sa Pobla.

When you think about it, there are not many places in Mallorca where you can be in an ideal traditional village untouched by tourism, and a few minutes later living it up in the capital or lazing on the golden sands of the north Mallorcan coastline!

Back at the villa, there are two twin bedrooms for them to choose from and all the home entertainment that will make it feel like a home from home.

Outside of the villa, there are plenty of cycling routes that are popular so you can hire bikes and go and view all the sites that Sa Pobla has to offer!

Around a 30-minute drive from the villa is Amaze’n Laberintos along Playa de Muro beach in Alcudia. Within this fun, wooden maze you’ll come across all sorts of characters, such as wizards, clowns and jokers.

The challenge is to figure out the path that leads to the exit and successfully escapes the maze. It requires plenty of teamwork and co-operation, so it’s an activity that all the family will enjoy.

These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.

Security deposit 1000 Euros - credit card details and expiry date to be supplied in case of damage to the property. The local Property Manager will contact you via email to request your details and the amount will be blocked on the credit card, not taken. Once the property manager confirms no damage the block will be released.

End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
