If you’ve been dreaming of spending a luxurious Mallorcan holiday by the sea, Villa Lorretta is going to tick all the right boxes when it comes to location! Situated in a quiet residential area just a short walk away from the beautiful sandy stretches of Puerto Pollensa, this stunning, contemporary-style villa has everything you need to holiday in style and comfort.
Villa Loretta sleeps up to six guests across three stylish bedrooms and is decorated throughout in fresh, neutral colours with pops of refreshing colour for a warm, welcoming vibe. The ground floor features a bright and spacious open-plan living area, with a cosy corner sofa and chair, flat screen TV, wood-burning stove, and a comfortable dining area. Colourful, modern artworks adorn the dazzling white walls, and brightly coloured dining chairs, rugs, and cushions add to the room’s charming character. Villa Lorretta’s kitchen is fresh and modern, with clean lines and stylish appliances, including an oven and hob, microwave, toaster and kettle. The ground floor also benefits from a handy utility room, ideal for storing your suitcases during your stay.
On the first floor of Villa Lorretta, you’ll find three uber-stylish bedrooms, comprising a master that features a large double bed and an ensuite bathroom and two twin bedrooms - one of which shares a fully-furnished balcony with the master bedroom and showcases incredible sea views. Each room is air-conditioned to ensure a comfortable night’s sleep, and all share the same fresh, neutral decor, complete with those zinging pops of colour that are Villa Lorretta’s signature. The twin rooms don’t have ensuite facilities but share the modern family bathroom.
The grounds of Villa Lorretta are as functional as they are beautiful, featuring a furnished, partially-covered terrace that serves as the perfect space to enjoy delicious alfresco meals while taking in the stunning views. There are steps down into the main garden, where you’ll discover lush lawns, exotic trees and plants, and your own private pool surrounded by relaxing sun loungers. The garden also features a paved area and charming fountain, as well as a table tennis table and a football goal - ideal for after-dinner games with the family.

About the surrounding area of Villa LorrettaSituated in a pretty, residential street near the very heart of Puerto Pollensa, Villa Lorretta is ideally located for a family beach holiday to remember. The beach is just a fifteen-minute walk away and features a fantastic children’s playground near the golden sandy stretches, making it ideal for those who are holidaying with the kids. If it’s peace and relaxation you’re looking for, you’ll be pleased to know that this area of the beach is much quieter and less crowded than further along the coast, so you and the family will be able to enjoy a few laidback hours paddling in the clear waters and playing on the soft sand. We recommend packing up a picnic, hiring loungers and parasols and really making a day of it at one of the most beautiful spots in the region.
Further down the beach, you’ll find a wide range of shops, restaurants and cafes to enjoy, offering refreshments and meals to suit all tastes, including traditional Mediterranean fare, fish dishes, salads and burgers. While you’re here, you could take a stroll around the port and marina, enjoying the beautiful views of the horseshoe-shaped bay and out over the town.
Less than fifteen minutes drive from Puerto Pollensa is the ancient town of Pollensa, which is well worth a visit while you’re here. The atmosphere in Pollensa is laidback and peaceful, with the area being one of the smaller and quieter holiday tourist spots in the region - but that doesn’t mean you’ll be stuck for things to do! There are plenty of wonderful sights to enjoy in the town, including the Museu de Pollenca, which is housed in a former 16th-century convent. Now a museum showcasing art spanning several centuries, this beautiful building is well worth a visit to appreciate its architecture and design, as well as fascinating artefacts that relate to prehistoric burials in the area.
Another must-see attraction we recommend visiting is the Calvari Steps, which lead to the top of the town and the beautiful little Church of Nostra Senyora dels Angels - there are 365 steps (you can count them if you like!), so be sure to wear suitable footwear! At midday, the light spills through the church’s gorgeous stained glass windows, which really is a sight to behold, but whatever time you visit, you’ll be rewarded with this stunning building’s intricate interior, as well as some incredible views over the town.
If after that sightseeing you’ve worked up an appetite, head to Pollensa’s central square, where you’ll be spoiled for choice when it comes to bars and restaurants offering everything from traditional Mediterranean fare such as Tumbet (a vegetarian dish of aubergines, potatoes, red peppers, garlic, tomatoes and love oil), to fresh seafood dishes, salads, steaks, tapas and burgers.

Port de Pollensa, or ‘Puerto Pollensa’ as it is sometimes spelt, is a resort particularly popular with the British – for holidays and as a second home location – and offers good facilities, beaches, and excellent opportunities for water sports.

Best Suited For: All AgesWith its large garden area and football goal, private pool and table tennis table, Villa Lorretta offers plenty of fun things for the kids to do. Indoor entertainment in the form of a satellite TV and WiFi means that there's something to amuse the children while you're preparing food or to get ready for your day, and twin rooms make sleeping arrangements nice and easy.
Puerto Pollensa is well-known for its laid-back vibe and beautiful beaches - the nearest being just a short walk away from the villa. Here you'll find calm, clear seas, golden sand, picnic areas and a playground, so you're sure to spend many happy days here enjoying each other's company in the Mediterranean sun. Puerto Pollensa Beach offers sun loungers and parasol hire, as well as dinghies and kayaks - and during the summer months, there are often sea inflatables, which are sure to be a hit with slightly older children. If you venture to the other side of the port, you'll discover D'Albercuix Beach running alongside a promenade known as the 'Pine Walk' due to the fact that it is lined with tall pine trees. This beach is smaller and slightly less 'touristy' than Puerto Pollensa beach, making it a firm favourite for those who are visiting the region with younger children.
There are lots of activities to get involved in in the area, including golf, cycling, horse-riding, water sports and coastal walks, so you're sure to find something to entertain and excite even the youngest holiday makers. For something a little more high-octane, Paintball Fantasy Mallorca Park is just a ten-minute drive from Villa Lorretta. Set within a stunning oak forest and suitable for children aged 8 and up, it's a great place to enjoy a fun-filled family day out. Why not play adults versus children for an extra dose of competition! Instructors are available for advice and help as you navigate your way around a series of wood buildings and shelters, all while wearing protective gear and armed with a paintball gun.
The thought of eating abroad with the kids can be a stressful one, but in Puerto Pollensa, you'll find something to suit everyone. The area features everything from Spanish tapas bars and fish restaurants to pizzerias and steakhouses. Almost all restaurants here offer children's menus, so finding something to tempt the youngest tastebuds should be a breeze.

Overall it was a great stay
Some facts beforehand, we were 5 adults and 2 kids (2 and 3) and we enjoyed our stay a lot. The house was had a perfect size for us, it was very clean and we had a welcoming basket on arrival which was special. Pool is clean and was cleaned once during our one week stay. There are some toys for kids to play with in the pool and outside. Beach is within 10minutes walking distance, you do have a sea view from the house though, but proper sandy beach starts at 10min away. Small SPAR supermarket is around 10-15min away, bigger one (Eroski) is around 20-25min away, best to take a cab from there which costs around 8€. Overall it was a great stay, we enjoyed the house a lot and can only recommend it.

Absolutely wonderful house
Absolutely wonderful house. Clean rooms, Nice decorations, good beds. Perfect pool and garden. We enjoyed our stay! Unfortunately no big pans to cook with for 6 persons but the host could offer a temporary solution as we couldn't eat in a restaurant with our newborn. Good service from our contact Joan! Hope to stay again next year!

Lovely villa - just like in the photos
Lovely villa - just like in the photos. Spotlessly clean, large rooms, great pool and garden in a quiet neighbourhood. Great chill out on the terrace, welcome pack and lovely sandy beaches about 10 mins walk away, although the main port is around 30 mins walk. Air-con downstairs would have been useful but that is the only criticism. Lovely property.

Lovely Property
This is a very lovely villa - large rooms, spotlessly clean, fabulous pool and gardens - just like in the pictures plus a great lounging area on the terrace. Very quiet neighbourhood about 10 mins walk from the nearest sandy beach, bar & small supermarket. The sandy beach is lovely with warm sea, good snorkelling, beach bars etc. It's a 30 min flat walk to the main port area, but it's a really easy and safe bike ride if you hire bikes. The property would benefit from air-con downstairs in summer months, but that really was the only criticism. Would happily book this again - really lovely place.
