Overview
This fine traditional finca with a modern twist enjoys spectacular views over the foothills of the Tramuntana mountain range and the local farms and vegetation.
The open plan living space is incredibly bright and the white dining table adds to the calm and fresh ambience. Adorned with rustic decorations, from plates to wooden clocks to old lamps, the villa will satisfy your need for a traditional country-house feel without sacrificing either quality or comfort. The vast kitchen is utterly charming, with a huge space for preparing a delightful meal or two, and traditional tan-yellow tiles complementing the wooden units and ceiling. Wooden beams extend throughout the entire villa, upholding the typical Mallorcan style and grounding you in the history of the area.
The bedrooms, one on the ground-floor and three on the first-floor, are bright and airy, with direct access to the outside from two of them, inviting in the light and warmth of the Mallorcan days. The beds are extremely comfortable with great cushion headboards and plump pillows. The master bedroom has a fabulous set of wooden doors which open out on to views of the incredible nearby mountains and the garden. Great modern bathrooms ensure your comfort, with fluffy white towels provided.
There are many highlights of this fabulous property, but the exterior grounds might just be our favourite. Extending some way into the local fields, this villa feels utterly secluded and private, yet is actually walking distance to the nearest town of Pollensa. The sun terrace is complete with a great built-in BBQ, a large, shaded dining table perfect for a spontaneous al fresco meal, and allows for lovely views across the plains. The vast pool (10x6m!) is lined with sun loungers so you can dip in and out of the Spanish sun as often as you like!

What you should know…
Don’t forget the sacred Spanish siesta – be sure to plan around it and don’t get caught out!
In late July each year, the Moors and Christians Festival takes place in Pollensa with a week of festivities culminating in the carnival on the 2nd of August. During this period visitors can expect loud music and celebrations into the night, especially on the 2nd of August.

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa la VistaPollensa is the picture perfect district of Mallorca, regarded as the cultural centre of the north of the island! When people picture Mallorca, they might not know it, but often what they’re picturing is Pollensa. Endless sandy beaches and roads lined with palm-trees set against the stunning backdrop of the Tramuntana mountain range. The diverse landscape, from fertile valleys to steep mountains and gently undulating hills and of course the beaches which seem to stretch endlessly to the horizon, is just one of the reasons that so many great artists have chosen to call this island home throughout the last century.
Just 2km away, the town of Pollensa itself will certainly provide your fill of authentic Spanish culture – 17th and 18th century houses, cobbled, winding streets and traditional markets every Sunday! Cafés, bars and restaurants are scattered in amongst traditional shops and large sections of the town are pedestrianised.
Top tip: the viewpoint from the Calvario is an absolute must, if you can manage the climb!

THE REGION
Pollensa, in the north of the island, is an ancient town of attractive narrow streets and an impressive main square, lined with cafés, restaurants and bars, and is just a few kilometres from Port de Pollensa.
The town has several places of interest to visit, including the Roman bridge, signposted ‘Pont Roma’, which is still in use, and the Puig de Pollensa – a small mountain topped by a monastery just outside the town. Here we provide all the information you want to know to make the most of this relaxed yet culturally satisfying inland town.
