Set in a relaxing and quiet countryside location, Finca Petita sits as a picturesque oasis of lush greens, palm trees and Mediterranean colour schemes. The sight of the beautiful villa is enough to get you straight into the holiday mood right as you arrive on day one!
Finca Petita has four bedrooms spread over two floors, one double room and a twin room on the ground floor, and then another two twin rooms on the first floor. Each of these bedrooms is designed with clean and attractive colours and comes with built-in wardrobe space so you may unpack your suitcase and really settle in during your stay. Furthermore, each bedroom has an en suite bathroom, so there is added privacy and lower queue times in the morning!
The kitchen here in Finca Petita is large and fully equipped, with an oven, toaster and coffee machine being just some of the utilities that will allow you to make your meals during the stay. There is a small table in the kitchen itself as well as a more formal dining table to the side of the living room. Outside there is also a covered outdoor barbecue area with a built-in brick barbecue, perfect for grilling fresh fish, meat, and vegetables yourself. Enjoy it al fresco, dining at the outdoor dining table under the terrace as you enjoy the sunset atmosphere and some local wine.
The living space, much like the rest of the house, is spacious and airy with light cream and deep brown furnishing making the area feel open but cosy. Two comfy sofas meet around a coffee table, making this a great area to socialise or enjoy the TV in your downtime.
Finca Petita has an equally beautiful outside space, all of which is fenced in for an added level of privacy and security. On the terraced patio, there are a number of seating areas for you to sink into, including an outdoor sofa and a breakfast table. There is also a table tennis table where you can challenge each other to some friendly competition – the winner decides which restaurant you go to that night!
Out from under the terrace, the area is lined with lush green bushes and trees, perfectly complimented by orange and terracotta accents and the blue gem that is the private pool in the centre. The private pool has stepped entry making it more accessible, and the glistening blue water feels incredible on the warmest days. To the side, there is a grassy area lined with tall trees that provide a lovely bit of shade. Between these trees, there are a few hammocks, a delightful location to take a nap in the shade or to read a good book in the breeze.
What you should know…
- Although the town centre is under a 30-minute walk away, you may wish to hire a car if you are travelling with small children or guests who are less mobile
- The lovely private pool isn’t gated off, so small children should be monitored when playing outside
- The villa is naturally cool due to the airy rooms and light colours, so the air conditioning is on schedule; if you wish to have the air conditioning on 24hrs a day, this is available at an extra cost (see Ts&Cs)

The heart of the town is just 2.5km away, where you can find a whole range of restaurants and other amenities. Cala d'Or is known for its absolutely stunning beaches, so be sure to take a trip to them during your stay!
The restaurants are warm, welcoming, and ready to serve you delicious meals. Head into the town centre, just a five-minute drive away and enjoy one of the many restaurants you will find here. Cala d'Or is a well-loved holiday destination, and so you are sure to find not only local specialities but also familiar favourites on offer. There are also a few grocery shops a few minutes' drive from the villa, so if you wish to make use of the villa incredible.
Although Finca Petita has an incredible private pool on the property, the seaside town of Cala d'Or is home to an incredible number of beaches with gorgeous views. The beaches are known and well-loved for their crystal-clear turquoise waters, warm white sands, and picturesque views. So, when you fancy a dip in the ocean, be sure to head out to the coast to experience the stunning sea on offer.
Being a coastal region, Cala d'Or has a number of waters sports and other water-based activities on offer for you to sign up for. If you take a trip to Marina de Cala d'Or, you can sign up for a boat tour, water ski excursions and more!
For activities away from water, why not try your hand at golf at Vall d'Or Golf. Featuring stunning views of Cala d'Or bay and 18 holes, you can rent full equipment as well as a buggy to make a memorable day out. Visit Es Fortí, a fortress and viewing point rich in history that was first built in 1730 and rebuilt in 1793 after being destroyed by an earthquake. Not only does it allow incredible views of the sunset, but in the summer months, it is occasionally hosted exhibitions and different cultural events.
Cala d'Or makes a wonderful holiday destination for anyone wishing to enjoy the sun, sand, and sea, and Finca Petita makes an incredible home base for your stays.

THE REGION
Cala d'Or – or the 'Golden Bay' – is a popular beach area on the southeast coast of Mallorca, south of Portocolom and neighbouring the coastal town of Portopetro. In Cala d'Or you really get an all-round holiday experience with wonderful beaches, interesting excursions, well-preserved nature and varied nightlife.
Cala d'Or is an excellent spot for a beach holiday thanks to its impressive facilities and wonderful beaches. Huge fun is the mini 'train' which runs along the roads for holidaymakers between the main resort and beaches. The town is also a great base for exploring some of the best natural and historical sights that southeast Mallorca has to offer.

Best Suited For: All AgesFinca Petita is a perfect countryside delight in the wonderful region of Cala d’Or; even young holidaymakers will appreciate the villa’s countryside charm! Kids of all ages are welcome at Finca Petita, and there is plenty of fun to be had for them during the stay.
The two-storey villa has four bedrooms across both floors, with a master double and three twin rooms with two single beds. This is perfect for a large family or even two, as parents can take the master room, and the twin beds can be pushed together if wanted. Furthermore, each bedroom has a built-in wardrobe space to put clothes away and free up more space. Each bedroom also comes with an en suite bathroom, so queue times in the morning are minimal, and parents can have their own space. For the littlest of guests, two cots and two high chairs are included in the booking price – just request these from the owner!
The living space in Finca Petita has large cosy sofas that kids will just love to sink into in the downtime. The TV here will provide entertainment, or kids can connect to the Wi-Fi to stream content direct to their devices or chat with friends back home. Outside in the garden, there is plenty of space to play, as well as another outdoor seating area under the terrace.
Outside is spacious and lined with tall green trees, and even small kids will enjoy the picturesque view. There is a large inviting pool that will be loved by kids and adults alike, as fun splashing around in the cool water is the perfect way to cool down on the hottest days. They will also enjoy the novelty of swinging in the hammocks in the shade between the trees as they relax between activities. Why not get them active and use the table tennis table to have some family competition?
Restaurants in Cala d’Or are used to tourism, so they are warm and welcoming and can’t wait to see you! Many of the restaurants serve not only traditional dishes but also familiar favourites, so even picky kids will be able to eat some delicious food and drinks when dining out.
There are many beaches in Cala d’Or that make the perfect day trip to complement the incredibly warm weather of this incredible destination. Kids will be filled with glee at the warm white sands that just call for sandcastle construction, and the calm, clear waters make for a safe environment for splashing, swimming, and snorkelling. For older kids, there are also a number of water sports activities on offer all over the beaches, from diving schools to jet ski tours – perfect for older kids wanting some thrill under the warm sun.
