The lovely Villa Cani Be is situated right next to the old walled town of Alcudia. The views from the incredible garden and pool area are of the old attractive walls, the mountains and wonderful countryside. The balconies have views to the Bay of Pollensa and the mountains. It really is a beautiful position. Sleeping 8 in 3 bedrooms, this is an ideal family holiday destination.
 
Alcudia is very popular with its Medieval Old Town, thriving tourist scene and breathtaking beaches. You can relax on the silky soft sands or marvel at the ancient ruins by day and spend evenings in the buzzy atmosphere on the Old Town by night.
 
Villa Cani Be is built on a fabulous, huge 1200 sqm plot using a mix of traditional Mallorcan stone and trendy glass and chrome. With its open-plan design, it is bright and airy and so comfortable to come back to. The garden is full of colourful, lush Mediterranean planting and so attractive with the backdrop of the intricate walls. The pool is beautiful with plenty of sun loungers and parasols surrounding it for your relaxation.

The brick-built barbecue is wonderful for summer alfresco dinners! The covered terrace has a comfy sofa and chairs as well as an outdoor dining table. With the incredible views, it is a lovely spot for drinks and dinner as the sun goes down!  Whether you want sun or shade, this is a perfect villa to relax in. The villa is some distance from other properties, so you feel very private, yet you can easily walk into the wonderfully historic Old Town.
 
The ground floor of the house is open-plan with a very well equipped kitchen and island breakfast bar as well as the lovely living and dining areas. There are two very spacious bedrooms on the ground floor with splendid wooden floors, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds. They share a huge, immaculate, contemporary shower room and separate toilet.

There is a massive family room on the first floor with a double bed and twins, which is ideal for a young family. This wonderful bedroom is so light and has access to a fantastic, vast balcony with sun loungers and a dining suite – such a perfect spot for that early morning cup of coffee! The top bedroom is partly open to the downstairs giving a glorious feeling of space with its atrium design. There is a modern en-suite bathroom. A further balcony to the rear boasts fabulous views of the Bay of Pollensa.

  • Although Alcudia has so much going on, it is really worth visiting other towns and villages on the island
  • Many shops on Mallorca are closed on a Sunday so remember that when organising your shopping
  • End of stay cleaning, electricity and tourist eco tax are not included in the rental cost and need to be paid locally.  Please check the terms and conditions for the exact amounts and please ensure you provide a credit or debit card for the damage deposit amount.

Villa Cani Be is in a wonderful location. Set in the lovely countryside yet next to the old intricate walls of the Old Town is the best of both worlds. The pretty, cobbled streets are lined with charming little shops and wonderful restaurants and bars where you can soak in the authentic local atmosphere. The historic buildings are amazing. During the summer months, the town wall is the romantic setting for open-air concerts and theatre performances.

While the music ranges from medieval music to cool jazz, the plays are usually dedicated to Alcudia’s history. Don’t miss Alcudia’s famous open-air market held every Tuesday and Sunday within the walls. You can stock up on wonderful fruit and vegetables sold by local farmers, as well as purchasing leather shoes and handbags, jewellery, clothing and souvenirs.
 
Alcudia juts out into the spectacular azure Mediterranean sea on Mallorca’s north-east coast. The huge stretches of golden sand around the horseshoe bay are so breathtaking. There are many bars, restaurants and cafes in the beach area where you can enjoy the island’s delicious cuisine. The marina is perfect for booking boat trips and watersports. You can idle the time away people watching or watching the luxury yachts bobbing away from the many waterside bars.
 
 
The first-class 18 holes Alcanada Golf Club is owned by the famous Porsche family and is a 15-minute drive from the villa. It boasts magnificent sweeping views as well as an interesting and challenging course.
 
Beer lovers might fancy a visit to the Beer Lovers Cerveceria Microbrewery to sample the craft beer from the north of Mallorca.
 
Away from Alcudia, we really recommend that you visit Puerto Pollensa and its Old Town and also the beach at Formentor.

THE REGION

The vibrant northern town of Alcúdia is truly a year-round location, offering life, history and culture throughout all seasons. Lying just one kilometre inland from the famous holiday resort of Port d’Alcúdia, it’s the ideal place to taste rich Mallorcan heritage without having to stray too far off the beaten path.

The pedestrian area offers inviting restaurants, cafés with beautiful terraces and cosy backyards, handicraft shops, stylish boutiques and Mallorcan specialities. Stroll by medieval houses, the proud town hall and the so-called Casas Señoriales, the majestic houses of past nobility. Here and there, you get a glimpse of one of the big, shady patios and time, and again you reach the outer rim of the town wall.

Villa Cani Be is perfect for children. There is so much space in the garden and villa to play, and they will love the swimming pool.
 
Alcudia’s Old Town will be very interesting and a lot of fun for them but mostly they will love the stunning beaches. They will also love boat rides of any kind, from the glass-bottom boats revealing the colourful sea life to bumping the waves on a speed boat. There will be plenty of time for swimming and snorkelling. You can even book a trip to dolphin watch. Watersports Mallorca is based just east of the Old Town at Playa de Muro where you can learn to kitesurf or windsurf as well as hire other equipment.
 
Children will be so excited to have a day in Hidropark Waterpark in Alcudia. Thrill-seekers will be plummeting down the mighty kamikaze slides, having fun jumping the waves in the wave pool and playing in the water playgrounds. Bellevue is an exhilarating go-karting playground. Otherwise, you can hire bikes and cycle around Alcudia’s natural park and stop at the bird watching huts. Rancho Ses Roques offers wonderful horse riding and a little petting zoo.
 
You can visit the Drach Caves and ride a boat across the lake inside the caves. It will be so memorable. A quartet plays classical music on a boat. Some guests stop at the Mallorca Pearl Factory on the way. The nearby town of Porto Cristo is worth a stop too.

These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.

Security deposit €600 charged to client’s credit card by the property manager on arrival. Please ensure you bring a credit or debit card so this amount can be held for the duration of your stay.

Departure time 10 am
End of stay cleaning included? Yes, included in rental cost. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or garbage disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Linen & towels included? Bed linen, bath towels, and pool towels are included in the rental price.
Energy costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Heating costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Internet access? Wi-Fi internet access included in rental price.

Changeover day Saturday.

Tax Balearic Eco Tourist Tax of €2.20 per person per night for over 16's is not included in the rental price and will need to be paid on arrival in chash direct to the supplier.
Insurance Guests are required to be in posession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, personal belongings, public liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.
Other Ts and Cs As per the owners request, please make sure to remove rubbish on your departure day or you may risk being charged €50 from your security deposit.
