The unconventional wooden shelves also add a sense of character to the entire space. Opposite the living room is the dining area. This space also uses a range of minimalist furnishings, making use of a large wooden table and an accompanying set of chairs. As such, guests can enjoy a range of delicious meals in a communal and cohesive space. The kitchen is another remarkable aspect of this property, giving guests a unique kitchen island as the focal point. Again, the variety of wooden cupboards helps the entire property adhere to a similar theme.
Casa Xarxes is home to four stunning bedrooms, each adhering to a unique and simplistic style. All four bedrooms are fitted with spacious double beds that are lined with crisp white bedsheets. This allows all guests to gain a peaceful and restful night’s sleep throughout their entire stay at this property. Plus, every room has access to an opulent and expansive en-suite bathroom. The third and fourth bedrooms contain large glass doors that lead out to the unique balcony area. As a result, guests can awake each morning and gaze out at the tremendous views from new heights.

About the surrounding area of Casa XarxesCasa Xarxes is within close proximity to the town centre of Alcudia, giving guests the chance to explore an abundance of exciting tourist attractions with ease. Wine tasting is a very popular activity, with Alcudia hosting some of the finest wineries in Mallorca. Can Axartell is an unconventional winery located just over 20-minutes away from the town centre of Alcudia. The founders do not use mechanical pumps; instead, they use an unusual gravitational method that produces the wine in a more natural and organic way. The wines are produced using native and fresh grapes, ensuring that each glass is pure perfection. A standard wine tour lasts for around three hours and accepts groups of up to four guests at one time.
Alcudia also boasts a deep and alluring religious history that is bound to excite any type of guest. Sant Jaume’s Catholic Church is a considerable building that is just a 5-minute drive away from the town centre of Alcudia. This church was originally constructed during the 12th century but was destroyed in the late 1870s due to a heavy rainstorm. In 1983, the church was rebuilt using an awe-inspiring Neo-Gothic style, helping to give the church a new lease of life. The interior contains multiple arches and religious fixtures, making it a fascinating attraction.
If you are travelling to Alcudia during the summer months, guests are encouraged to visit an exhilarating Flamenco Show at the Plaza de Toro. This location used to be a traditional Bullfighting ring but eventually ceased operations. Nowadays, guests can observe the beautiful and expressive art of Flamenco in its most traditional form. Immerse yourself in the alluring music and unbelievable dancing as you revel in this utterly magnificent event. There are an abundance of shows to choose from, and a majority of them include both a day and night show. The Plaza de Toros is just over 40-minutes away from the centre of Alcudia, and tickets for the Flamenco shows start at around €10.50. It should also be mentioned that guests can also take a tour of the Plaza de Toros for the small price of €2.25 per guest, which includes a free drink.

THE REGION
The vibrant northern town of Alcúdia is truly a year-round location, offering life, history and culture throughout all seasons. Lying just one kilometre inland from the famous holiday resort of Port d’Alcúdia, it’s the ideal place to taste rich Mallorcan heritage without having to stray too far off the beaten path.
The pedestrian area offers inviting restaurants, cafés with beautiful terraces and cosy backyards, handicraft shops, stylish boutiques and Mallorcan specialities. Stroll by medieval houses, the proud town hall and the so-called Casas Señoriales, the majestic houses of past nobility. Here and there, you get a glimpse of one of the big, shady patios and time, and again you reach the outer rim of the town wall.

If your children love everything to do with ancient history, the Roman Remains of Pollentia is a real treat. These ruins date back to 100 BCE, with the first excavation process beginning in the 1920s. Thus, this location is filled with historical artefacts and immersive scenery. The site is split into three main features, the Roman theatre, forum, and residential area. Guests can explore each site and take in the immersive atmosphere that each one exudes. There is even a museum located close by that goes into more detail about how these citizens lived under the archaic rule of the Roman Empire. The Roman Remains of Pollenita is just a 3-minute drive away from the town centre.
If you are looking for a more exhilarating day out, Hidropark offers a wide assortment of thrilling water rides and attractions. This park is known for rides such as Kamikaze, Octopus, and even a Wave Pool. For younger children, there is a unique Kids Zone, equipped with a small pool and splash area. There is also a fun mini-golf course located on-site that can be used for an additional cost. Hirdropark also offers a wide range of restaurants for guests to try, meaning that there is something for the whole family to enjoy. Tickets for this attraction start at €23.50 for adults and €16.90 for children. It should be mentioned that purchasing the tickets online and in advance is considerably cheaper than box office prices.
As Casa Xarxes is just a short distance from Alcudia beach, guests can visit this fantastic location whenever they please. This beach contains soft, warm sand and calm water, making it a perfect spot for watersport activities. Children can partake in paragliding and jetskiing during their time at this beautiful beach. There are a few facilities available on-site such as public showers and toilets, making it accessible and convenient for a wide variety of guests. Along the vibrant seafront, guests can browse through a collection of local shops as well as indulge in a few local dishes in many of the cafes and restaurants.
