Chalet Neige is located right in the heart of Courchevel 1650, one of the most exclusive ski resorts in the world. As part of the Three Valleys, the largest ski area in the world, Chalet Neige has access to over 600 m of ski runs right on its doorstep.

Courchevel is easily accessible by road, rail, and air, however, a car is necessary for the final leg of the journey up the mountain. The nearest airports to Chalet Neige are Geneva in Switzerland and Lyon in France, both of which are around two-and-a-half hours away by car.

In the winter months, skiing and snowboarding are the main attractions in Courchevel with the resort offering a seemingly endless array of slopes to suit all abilities, from gentle beginner slopes to challenging off-piste terrain for the more experienced skier. Courchevel is also home to some of the best snowparks in the world, with a range of features and obstacles for freestylers and snowboarders to try their skills on.

Beyond skiing and snowboarding, Courchevel offers a wide range of activities for all ages and interests, including snowshoeing, ice skating, and tobogganing. Or, for those seeking a more relaxing holiday, there are also plenty of opportunities to indulge in spa treatments and luxury shopping in the area.

For dining, Courchevel is renowned for its culinary offering; ranging from traditional Savoyard dishes to international flavours, and several Michelin-starred restaurants, with some of the world's finest chefs creating gourmet cuisine at venues across the area.

The Resort

Courchevel is made up of six satellite villages, each with their own distinct style and atmosphere, and picturesque forest roads to lead you in-between. Most well known is the illustrious Courchevel 1850 with its reputation for exclusivity and an A-List clientele. 1850 is certainly the place to go for five-star hotels, swanky bars and extravagant nightlife. The other Courchevel villages (such as Courchevel Moriond) have a much more laid back vibe and are certainly the more affordable choice.

The skiing in Courchevel is split into four levels and you can take an excellent free ski bus in between. At the resort itself you have 150 kilometres of pistes at your feet and while you can get a Courchevel lift-pass you can also ski the whole of the Three Valleys with an area-pass. Since the slopes here face north, the snow at Courchevel is more reliable than elsewhere in the Three Valleys. Courchevel pistes are absolutely unrivaled, meticulously maintained and perfectly positioned to align with the landscape.

With its highest lift at 2740m altitude, Courchevel is exceptionally good for high altitude skiing with incredible alpine views, and the most impressive runs are best suited for intermediate and advanced skiers. But for the little ones just finding their snow legs, the resort has a fantastic children’s village where they can learn in a stress-free environment. Ski season here lasts until late April and even if you prefer not to ski at all, you’ll be well entertained with everything from scenic walks to classical music concerts.

In the evenings, the Courchevel night skies are lit up by spectacular firework displays that could get anyone in the mood for a night on the town. The bars here are a good mix of casual and upmarket, so there’s plenty for all tastes to enjoy when it comes to après-ski. Courchevel also has a well-earned reputation for being the best ski resort when it comes to gastronomy.

When travelling with little holidaymakers, Chalet Neige is an excellent choice for groups with kids as it provides a great range of activities for children of all ages both indoors and in the wider area.

Within the chalet, you’ll find several fantastic facilities that kids love, including Apply TV and Netflix-enabled TVs in the lounge and a large cinema room which kids love taking over to watch their favourite shows on the big screen. High-speed internet is also available throughout the property, allowing kids to connect their personal devices and keep in touch with their friends and family back home. The chalet can also provide high chairs and cots upon request, making it easier for families with young children to travel with less equipment.

Beyond the chalet. Courchevel has plenty of family-friendly ski runs to suit all abilities as well as a children’s ski school which provides ski lessons and supervision for children looking to improve their confidence on the slopes. There are also many family-friendly activities to enjoy in and around Courchevel that don’t involve skiing, such as children's events, tobogganing, and sledding. There is also an indoor swimming pool in the nearby village, which has a range of water-based activities and features for children to enjoy.
