If you’re looking for sheer luxury for your next ski break then look no further than Chalet Pedrix Noire. Set in the heart of Méribel, right opposite the La Chaudanne, a stay at this private seven-bedroom, four-floor chalet is unlike any other.

With so much on offer, it’s hard to decide where to start with Chalet Pedrix Noire. First and foremost, this traditional ski chalet is exclusively yours during your stay. Chalet Pedrix Noire has been beautifully decorated throughout with gorgeous hand-picked furnishings designed to create that perfect winter home, combining traditional cosiness with modern elegance.

Your interior is grand and spacious, mixing the traditional wooden chalet with contemporary industrial accents. Starting at the ground floor, you enter via a warm and welcoming hallway with a dedicated ski and boot storage room off to the side. Moving through the entrance hall, you can continue through to the rear of the property where you’ll find a lovely steamy sauna and a luxurious home cinema room with its own bar.

The first floor houses your laundry room and four good-sized bedrooms that will either have two twin beds or a king-size bed, a flat-screen TV and its own private en-suite bathroom with a bathtub. Outside, a large wrap-around balcony with a hot tub awaits - perfect for resting your muscles and winding down after a day on the slopes.

The second floor houses the main living space for Chalet Pedrix Noire, with an open-plan living room and dining area divided by a large open fireplace at the centre of the room. Your kitchen is in a separate room to the rear, however, you don’t need to worry about cooking as a team of professional staff will prepare a daily breakfast for you in the mornings as well as a delicious four-course meal six evenings a week.

A fifth bedroom is also located on the second level, being similar in design to the first four - two twin beds or a king-size bed with its own private en-suite bathroom. Additional outdoor seating is located on this level’s terrace for al fresco dining.

Two final bedrooms are located on the third floor, comprised of either two twin beds or a single king-size bed, a TV and a private en-suite bathroom.
While staying at Chalet Pedrix Noire, you’ll also be indulged with a number of special inclusions just for your group, including:
- Lift passes prepared and waiting on arrival

Getting to Chalet Pedrix Noire in the first is pretty straightforward as you can drive directly to the chalet and park your car in the secure garage, or you can fly into a nearby airport and transfer from there. Most visitors to Chalet Pedrix Noire choose to arrive via Geneva Airport which is about a two-hour drive away.

Once you arrive in Méribel, you’ll find that Chalet Pedrix Noire is in a lovely quiet area of the resort. Tucked back from the centre of Méribel and located down a private side road, Chalet Pedrix Noire is one of the most laid-back chalets in the valley.

Méribel is a village with a true alpine heart. You won’t find blocks of hotels and purpose-built facilities here. Instead, the compact and lively town centre is picture-postcard perfect, and its atmosphere is quaint and fairytale-like. Meribel offers fantastic skiing and snowboarding for all levels of ability and a huge range of non-skiing activities.

It is without a doubt the most romantic resort in the area and if you’re planning a couples holiday in the snow you’ll definitely want to take a closer look at Méribel.

At the centre of the world famous Trois Vallées (Three Valleys), Méribel makes up part of the largest ski domain in the world. It has over 150km of pistes, plenty of backcountry and off-piste skiing and snow cannons cover 65% of the ski area.

Across the valleys, it has six sister resorts. You can either get a single-resort lift pass and keep to the fantastic beginner and intermediate terrain there, but you also have the option of purchasing a pass that covers the whole area.

The advanced lift system at Méribel will let you maximise your time on the snow and make sure you’re not waiting around in queues. With 67 runs to try out just in the resort itself, there is no time to be wasted. Just beware of the afternoon sun cutting things short on the west-facing slopes and prepare to get up with the sun if you’re after untouched powder. At it’s highest skiing point Méribel reaches an altitude of 2952 metres and the descent from this point is known to be one of the most scenic runs around.

Aside from the world-class skiing, Méribel is also known to be one of the liveliest resorts in the Three Valleys. Many of its residents and bar-owners (as well as plenty of its visitors) are expat-Brits who certainly know how to party. The après-ski scene here is truly top-notch!

With plenty of kid-friendly inclusions at Chalet Pedrix Noire, we’re not sure who’ll have the most fun - the adults or the kids.

At Chalet Pedrix Noire, each bedroom has a flat-screen TV with UK Sky channels and Apple TV, letting kids watch shows and movies with ease when winding down. Alternatively, excellent wireless internet is available throughout Chalet Pedrix Noire, which kids can connect to on their personal devices to stream their favourite media. In Méribel itself, there are lots of kid-friendly activities to participate in. If your kids are completely new to skiing, or you simply think that they’d benefit from a refresher, the local ski school is a great place to have fun and make friends while updating their skills.

For little adventurers, Yeti Park is always a blast. This recreational area has been specially designed for young visitors to play and have fun on the snow with tunnels, slides and even a zip line that they can ride.

For something a little more laid-back, in the idyllic forests surrounding Méribel, kids can also take the reins on a pony-led sled ride!
