Discover unrivalled luxury in the Alps with Chalet Genevieve, an elegant chalet located in the heart of Courchevel 1550, one of the most exclusive and renowned ski resorts in the world.
Carefully designed to maximise space, Chalet Genevieve has five beautiful levels dedicated to ensuring your next ski break is one to remember. With six spacious, modern decorated bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, Chalet Genevieve can comfortably sleep up to fourteen guests. The bedrooms are spread over three floors, with a mix of double bedrooms and a dedicated children’s bunk-bed room.
Chalet Genevieve’s main living space is a bright, open-plan area with lush furnishings, a cosy fireplace, and large windows that flood the space with natural light. Your dining area is adjacent to the living area and can seat up to fourteen guests around a large family-style table. The chalet also features a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for preparing meals for family and friends. Mornings however are strictly for relaxing as the chalet’s staff will provide a daily breakfast spread for your convenience.
From the living space, the windows open up onto a large outdoor balcony which provides breathtaking views of the Courchevel mountain range and surrounding village.
The lower level of the chalet is dedicated to relaxation and entertainment, featuring a cinema room and a wellness area with a sauna, swimming pool, gym, and massage room. As you enter the property, a large and well-furnished storage room is yours to use between mountain trips featuring purpose-built storage points for your equipment and heated boot warmers.
What you should know…
- While Chalet Genevieve is spread across five levels, it does not have an elevator which may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues.
- When using the wellness facilities, please ensure that children are always supervised.
- As Courchevel is a large resort spread across several sites, we recommend renting a vehicle for the duration of your stay if you plan on travelling around.

The Resort
Courchevel is made up of six satellite villages, each with their own distinct style and atmosphere, and picturesque forest roads to lead you in-between. Most well known is the illustrious Courchevel 1850 with its reputation for exclusivity and an A-List clientele. 1850 is certainly the place to go for five-star hotels, swanky bars and extravagant nightlife. The other Courchevel villages (such as Courchevel Moriond) have a much more laid back vibe and are certainly the more affordable choice.
The skiing in Courchevel is split into four levels and you can take an excellent free ski bus in between. At the resort itself you have 150 kilometres of pistes at your feet and while you can get a Courchevel lift-pass you can also ski the whole of the Three Valleys with an area-pass. Since the slopes here face north, the snow at Courchevel is more reliable than elsewhere in the Three Valleys. Courchevel pistes are absolutely unrivaled, meticulously maintained and perfectly positioned to align with the landscape.
With its highest lift at 2740m altitude, Courchevel is exceptionally good for high altitude skiing with incredible alpine views, and the most impressive runs are best suited for intermediate and advanced skiers. But for the little ones just finding their snow legs, the resort has a fantastic children’s village where they can learn in a stress-free environment. Ski season here lasts until late April and even if you prefer not to ski at all, you’ll be well entertained with everything from scenic walks to classical music concerts.
In the evenings, the Courchevel night skies are lit up by spectacular firework displays that could get anyone in the mood for a night on the town. The bars here are a good mix of casual and upmarket, so there’s plenty for all tastes to enjoy when it comes to après-ski. Courchevel also has a well-earned reputation for being the best ski resort when it comes to gastronomy.
Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesChalet Genevieve is an excellent choice for families with children, thanks to its wonderful range of activities and attractions for kids of all ages both inside the chalet and in the neighbouring village.
Inside, Chalet Genevieve is well-provided to keep kids happy and entertained throughout your stay from the dedicated kids’ room to the private cinema room and swimming pool.
When not watching movies on the big screen or taking a dip in the pool, kids can unwind by using the chalet’s high-speed internet to stream their favourite media and play online games at their convenience.
In the wider area, Chalet Genevieve’s location in the heart of Courchevel offers easy access to the ski slopes and ski schools, where children can learn to ski and snowboard in a fun and safe environment with other kids their own age. The resort has several children's ski areas, a variety of sledging areas and snow parks that children will love.
If you’re thinking of visiting during the summer, the surrounding area offers a wealth of outdoor activities that kids will love, including hiking, mountain biking, and swimming in the nearby lakes. Courchevel also has a range of family-friendly events and activities throughout the summer, such as concerts, festivals, and guided nature walks.
