The exterior of this property is characterised by a considerable swimming pool that is seen in the centre of the grounds. This exquisite pool is surrounded by a plethora of expertly manicured grass, giving guests a choice between sunbathing on the soft grass or diving straight into the coolness of the pool. This property is also home to a collection of outdoor seating and dining areas. As a result, guests can enjoy their evening meals or their morning coffee whilst gazing out at the outstanding sights that surround them.
 
The interior of this property is truly spellbinding, making good use of a range of impeccable decor. The living area is a very attractive space that includes an unconventional accent wall at the back of the room. This space also includes a pair of large sofas, allowing guests to truly unwind and relax after a long day of exploring the local sights. Next to the living area is the dining area. This space contains a circular glass-topped dining table as well as a set of velvet-lined chairs. As such, guests can use this deeply communal space to enjoy delicious meals as a group. The kitchen is possibly the best feature, compiling a range of contemporary appliances and style choices. Therefore, guests can prepare and serve a plethora of indulgent meals in this impeccable space.
 
Moving up to the first floor, this is where you’ll find the three main bedrooms. The first and second bedrooms both contain spacious double beds that are fitted with ample linens. One of these rooms also includes an opulent en-suite bathroom, giving guests a sense of privacy and opulence. In turn, guests are sure to have a restful night’s sleep throughout their stay. The third bedroom includes a trundle bed, making it an ideal space for children to sleep. Moradia Ilhas is located in Aroeira, a region that is well recognised for its abundance of alluring tourist attractions. The Murder Mystery Exploration Game gives guests the chance to delve into the rich beauty of Lisbon’s Old Town in an engaging and high-intensity fashion. This game requires guests to take on the character of a private investigator who is looking to solve the strange death of a local singer. In order to complete this process, guests will have to use their smartphones to solve a selection of complex puzzles and riddles. This game lasts for around 2 hours and is available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. The Murder Mystery Exploration Game starts at the Church of Nossa Senhora da Conceicao, which is about half an hour away from the centre of Aroeira.
 
For football fanatics, a trip to Benfica Stadium is a must-do activity. This iconic stadium is the largest in Portugal and has hosted the acclaimed Champions League final in both 2014 and 2020. Guests can embark on an extensive guided tour, discovering all of the hidden operations that help keep that stadium running in order. There is also an adjoining museum that showcases a diverse array of memorabilia, meaning that guests can observe a collection of timeless works in a more intimate way. The Benfica Stadium is based around 30-minutes away, and tickets for the guided tour must be bought in advance from the official website.
 
The Sintra Myths and Legends Interactive Centre is a deeply popular attraction that is located around an hour away from the centre of the region. Across the course of 17 exhibitions, this outstanding landmark tells the unforgettable story of the fables and fantasies that are seen within this region. As such, this is an ideal place to visit if you are looking to detach from the conventional stressors of real life. This attraction also uses a vast range of multimedia techniques such as lighting, 3D films, and holograms to effortlessly blend the world of fiction and reality. Sintra Myths and Legends Interactive Centre also provides guided audio tours in a selection of different languages and is open every day from 10 am till 6:30 pm.

THE REGION

Only 25 km from Lisbon, located in a protected pine woodland and close to the coastal town of Caparica, Aroeira is a unique estate comprising two golf courses. Aroeira offers golfers the perfect combination of a championship course set amidst exuberant natural surroundings.

The closest beach from Aroeira is Fonte de Telha. It is a pretty good spot for Surfers, and you will also find several choices of beach bars and restaurants to go to. The beach also offers free showers located right at the entrance near the main path in front of the parking spaces and the mini market.​

The Lisbon Oceanarium is a key asset to Aroeira’s vibrant culture, boasting of being the largest indoor aquarium in the entirety of Europe. With 450 species to discover, children have the chance to explore creatures such as seagulls, sharks, and rays in a more intimate fashion. This establishment also focuses on education, offering a varied plethora of resources. Thus, guests can learn more about the fundamental principles of conservation as well as ways in which we can better protect our oceans. The Lisbon Oceanarium is just over half an hour away from the centre of Aroeira.
 
The Castle of the Moors is an ideal landmark to visit if you are looking to uncover more about this region’s far-reaching history. This castle was first constructed in the 8th century AD as a way to protect the Moorish citizens of Portugal. As such, the castle was used as a safe haven during the turbulent times of the Christian reconquest of the 12th century. Guests can partake in a guided audio tour of these grounds and discover more about the origins of this amazing castle. You can also see a pair of looming royal towers as well as an authentic cistern that was used to collect rainwater. The Castle of the Moors can be found just over 45-minutes away and is open Monday-Sunday from 9:30 am till 6:30 pm.
 
If you are looking to revel in the natural beauty of this region, the Park and Palace of Monserrate is a perfect place to visit and can be found around an hour away from the centre of Aroeira. This palace is known as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and combines a charming array of Moorish, Gothic, and Indian motifs to build a truly remarkable 19th-century monument. Guests can also enter the palace and gaze at a range of impeccable and well-preserved artefacts. Next to the palace is a large stretch of amazing gardens, allowing guests to explore a range of botanical plants from around the world.
