When you arrive at Villa Netena, you will see how pretty it is. Situated in the wonderful, sophisticated resort of Vilamoura, this villa has great access to every kind of entertainment. With four wonderful bedrooms, it is ideal for a large family of eight or a group of friends.
Vilamoura has an exceptional range of lifestyle choices. As well as being sporting haven there are two amazing beaches, several leading spas, many boutiques, an eclectic mix of over 100 chic restaurants, groovy bars, beach clubs, DJ’s and a leading casino. The beautiful marina is a hub of activity.
Villa Verde is extremely well-maintained and so comfortable. On the ground floor, you will find a lovely, cosy lounge with an open-hearth fireplace, a delightful dining room and a warm and inviting fully equipped kitchen. There are also three of the amazing bedrooms on this floor. One is a double, one a king and the other a twin. There are also three spacious bathrooms, a mix of baths and showers. The double room has direct access to the wonderful pool terrace.
There is a further master twin on the first floor which has a lovely en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower and also a wonderful furnished terrace. The views are fabulous of the garden, pool and the spectacular golf course which backs on to the villa.
If you are a music fan, you will be delighted with the Sonos and Geneva music systems in this villa and the quality Bower Wilkins speakers in the lounge. You will be able to stream all of your music choices.
The garden is lovely with wonderful lawns, mature Mediterranean planting, a fantastic pool surrounded by grassy banks, sun loungers and a terrace with outdoor dining furniture and a fabulous brick built barbecue. The garden feels so private with the golf course next door. It really is idyllic and a lovely place to relax and enjoy your holiday.

- The sunsets are spectacular. You could always arrange a sunset cruise from the Vilamoura Marina
- Paddleboarding is really popular in this area. Why not take up a new sport while you are away?

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa NetenaVilla Netena is 2.2km from the centre of Vilamoura in a calming residential area. It is very close to a supermarket, restaurant and bars and cafes. The mesmerising Vilamoura Beach is 2.3km away, and the stunning Falesia beach is just the other side of the marina. The golden sands of Vilamoura Beach run all the way to Quarteira. The water is so clear and blue, and many tourist watersports are on offer. It is semi-sheltered from the powerful waves of the Atlantic by a sea groyne that extends from the harbour mouth, so the waters are mainly calm and great for families. Falesia Beach is often regarded as one of the finest of the Algarve with a massive 5km shoreline! It is surrounded by majestic red sandstone cliffs. It is an enjoyable two-hour return walk along Falesia Beach to Olhos de Agua. For the return, there is a lovely path along the top of the cliffs.
Vilamoura has six superb golf courses, horse riding, football, a top tennis academy and a huge array of watersports on offer. The Portugal Masters takes place at the famous Victoria Golf Course annually. The atmosphere is incredible. The six courses are Laguna, Millenium, the Old Course, Pinhal, Vila Sol and Victoria. The Old Course is the second oldest golf course in the Algarve.
Vilamoura Marina has been awarded International Marina of the Year 2019/2020 by The Yacht Harbour Association. It is huge with so many berths for luxury yachts. It is also surrounded by amazing bars, restaurants and boutiques. By night, the atmosphere is electric. You can also arrange many boat trips from the marina, either to fish, take part in watersports, dolphin watch or visit the magnificent coastline.
If the shops around the marina are not enough, you might like to visit the MAR Shopping Algarve Centre. Not only does it have amazing shops, but there is also a cinema and wonderful restaurants. It was opened in 2017 and is glossy and smart. There is also a designer outlet next door.

THE REGION
Vilamoura has been a glamorous town ever since Roman time. Its rich history is still palpable as you walk its streets, coming upon Roman Baths and ancient murals all around town. These days, Vilamoura is still a high-class destination although it has certainly kept up with the times. Yachts dock at the large marina and travellers galavant the seaside strip hopping between bars, restaurants and the dazzling casino.
The local championship courses naturally attract a crowd of golf enthusiasts as well, and there is a large selection of other sports to enjoy in the area (including those best played out in the water). There is certainly no need to ever be bored in Vilamoura, but if it’s ultimate relaxation you’re after you won’t be disappointed. The town is alluringly close to Praia da Marina and Praia de Falesia, where the golden sand and hot Mediterranean sun is just about never-ending.

But while you’re enjoying one of our fantastic villas in Algarve, you may well want to take some time out from all that sun worship to explore everything else the region has to offer – so we’ve put together this handy travel guide to give you a little help and inspiration!
Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesFamilies will love Villa Netena. It has such a wonderful garden to play and relax in, and the pool is lovely. The rooms are spacious and so comfortable.
Children will thoroughly enjoy a trip to the Benagil Cave. It is huge and truly spectacular. You can take a boat trip or even kayak to the cave. Quite often the boat trips will involve some dolphin watching too for an added bonus!
Horse riding in the Algarve will be a wonderful holiday memory. The incredible beauty in the pine woods or on the beach makes it so special. Pinetrees Riding Centre specialises in lessons for children of 4 and over. Novices will start on the quiet horses and ponies and advanced riders on the beautiful well-schooled Lusitanos. All riding clothes will be supplied. The Vilamoura Equestrian Centre has great facilities and a lovely atmosphere. The arenas and competition areas are so professional offering wonderful shows.
Aqualand Algarve is a great day out and is close to the villa. You will be there in no time at all. There is a relaxed winding river, many pools and slides, including the adrenaline rush Kamikaze and Banzai slides. Younger children will love the water playground with its mini pools and slides. All the family will enjoy jumping the waves in the wave pool.
The Desert Pines Algarve FootGolf is also fun near Vale do Lobo. You play the golf-like course holes using your feet as clubs, kicking the ball from the tee to the green and into the cups. Otherwise, you can head to one of the many mini-golf courses. The Family Golf Park is great with two courses to try out. The Quinta do Lago resort also has a mini-golf course next to one of its fabulous championship courses.
