The exterior of this property is one of its most exquisite assets, blending a considerable lawn area with a spacious swimming pool. In turn, guests can relax and unwind in both areas as often as they please. The swimming pool is also surrounded by traditional terracotta tiles that are fitted with various outdoor seating areas. Thus, guests can enjoy their meals and beverages whilst overlooking the beautiful scenery. The exterior also contains multiple outdoor terraces that offer guests a tranquil place to rest as they take in the awe-inspiring views.
As you enter the property, you will see the eclectic yet homely living area. This space is teeming with desirable furnishings, including ornate tables and unique art pieces. The living area also makes use of multiple pastel green seating arrangements. These are ideal for relaxing in the evenings and spending quality time together as a family. The dining area within this villa is unlike any other, making use of varying seating areas for both comfort and ease. This space includes a subtle dining table that is equipped with matching chairs. In addition, the dining area also contains a more relaxed seating area, using vibrant green sofas and scatter cushions. Therefore, guests can dine together as a group or relax on the sofas in front of the flatscreen TV. The kitchen in Villa Troto adheres to a more minimalist theme, combining sleek white cupboards with traditional tiled flooring.
Moving upstairs, this is where you will find the property’s main bedrooms. The first bedroom contains a spacious double bed and offers access to an opulent en-suite bathroom for maximum privacy. The second bedroom is the master bedroom, seen by the luxurious king-sized bed and direct access to the outdoor terrace. This room also allows access to an additional en-suite bathroom. The remaining three bedrooms are all twin rooms, making them perfect for two small children or for a couple who would rather sleep separately.

This impressive location is also known for its wondrous golf courses, such as The Vale do Lobo Royal Course, and The Vale do Lobo Ocean Course. Both of these courses are located just a short walk away from the centre of the region. This golf club is filled with high-quality facilities and amenities, ensuring that every player can gain an amazing experience. Both of the courses are 18-holes, meaning that guests can take their time as they travel around the remarkable landscape. There is also a well-renowned clubhouse on-site, offering a plethora of high-end food options. Prices for this type of activity are fairly standard, costing €125 for an 18-hole game.
If you are looking to explore the rich and intriguing history of Vale do Lobo, Cappella dos Ossos is a perfect place to start. Translated as the Chapel of Bones, Cappella dos Ossos is one of Portugal’s most sought-after tourist attractions. Although the exterior of the chapel seems to be pretty standard, inside, the walls are decorated with human skulls and bones. This is because, during the 16th century, the graveyards of Evora were filled to capacity. Thus, many bodies had to be buried in cement and placed on the walls of the chapel. The macabre atmosphere is not for the faint-hearted but definitely should not be missed. Cappella dos Ossos is just under two and a half hours away from the centre of Vale do Lobo.
Vale do Lobo is also well recognised for its energetic food scene, with many establishments using a variety of fresh ingredients in their cooking. For guests who are looking to recreate these marvellous dishes back in the villa, Quarteira Fish Market is an ideal place to pick up some new foods to try. Although the market is best known for its detailed variety of fresh fish, there is also a wide range of fresh fruit and vegetables on offer. Currently, the market is undergoing a large cosmetic restoration, ensuring that the market is kept well preserved for the masses of returning guests. The Quarteira Fish Market is located just 15-minutes away from the centre of Vale do Lobo.

Best Suited For: All AgesVale do Lobo is an extremely exciting region filled with family-friendly attractions and activities. Parque Aventura is a high-adrenaline outdoor park known best for its range of thrilling activities. The park currently runs both paintball sessions and high ropes courses, offering all sorts of activities for the whole family to choose from. The high ropes courses are available in three different types of difficulty, allowing smaller children to get involved in the action too. The paintball courses are also available in varying difficulty levels and allow children to become more familiar with the playing field before they get started. Both courses contain in-depth safety briefing beforehand to ensure that every guest is kept safe and well during their time here. Parque Aventura is just over 30-minutes away from the centre of Vale do Lobo, and prices for both activities start at just €13 each.
If you are looking for more exhilarating activities to complete as a family, Hot Wheels offers guests the chance to zoom around a race track in their very own go-kart. This incredible indoor go-karting track allows guests to race each other in either a 200cc or a 400cc go-kart. Guests even have the chance to compete in the Hot Wheels Wall of Fame, a competition that is open to tourists from all around the world. Each guest will receive a safety briefing and an equipment check before they start the race, allowing guests to feel safe and confident before they even enter the kart. It should be mentioned that a maximum of 8 drivers are allowed on the track at one time, and guests must be aged 12 and over as well as be a minimum of 1.5m tall. Hot Wheels is around 35 minutes away from the centre of Vale do Lobo, and tickets start at just €20 for a 15-minute race.
Although Vale do Lobo and its surrounding areas are known for their entertaining tourist attractions, the region also has a very rich history. Museu Municipal de Arqueologia is a quaint museum that is bursting with rare artefacts and exhibitions that give a more nuanced perspective of the far-reaching history of Portugal. Here, you will see fixtures from over 500 years of Islamic history, as well as more interactive features surrounding Portuguese popular culture. The Museu Municipal de Arqueologia is just 40-minutes away from Vale do Lobo and the entrance fee is just €1.
