Villa Miavana is an authentic, farmhouse style villa, set within its immaculate grounds with no detail overlooked for guests every comfort. For a traditional, rustic Italian hideaway, fusing both privacy and a full range of staff services, guests will encounter at Villa Miavana, a world of discreet glamour and inherently Umbrian flavour!
Full of rustic charm, the original stone buildings are tastefully restored, perched on a sublime hilltop position up a pretty flower-lined path amid fruit trees and olive groves. Arriving at Villa Miavana, guests will feel as if they have entered a rustic haven of preserved Umbrian beauty, finessed with every contemporary touch.
Immaculately executed for ultimate restoration, complete with its spa comprising stone set outdoor jacuzzi, hot tub, Turkish bath and tropical shower, staff are available on request to provide massage treatments.
With wonderful views across rolling Umbrian countryside, this villa comes into its own when the light softens and guests can marvel at stunning pink sunsets across the hills as they enjoy a glass of local wine and a chef prepared gourmet meal! This home is designed for guests to escape from the strains of modern living truly.
Each of the bedrooms has unique features, design quirks and characterful touches. There are five bedrooms, four of which are doubles (one with two additional fold out beds), and one single bedroom, as well as a second lounge with a sofa-bed, meaning Villa Miavana is ideal for a large family group or extended family.
The bedrooms are full of individual style and charm, with solid timber used with an original and playful design touch, for example, the stand-alone timber bathtub, or fantastic staircase leading to mezzanine. This is a home with ample eccentricities and surprising touches. The bedrooms are cosy, infused with exposed brick fireplaces and a blend of local raw materials such as porcelain, timber and stone within the most sumptuous of finishes.
The living space at Villa Miavana is well proportioned, again with the characteristic use of local raw materials, while all the essential modern touches are present! Ideal for friends and groups, the living and dining space are part of a single area while being divided by an impressive stone arch, leading to the kitchen which is every inch the rustic Italian farmhouse kitchen.
Dining al fresco is a stylish affair at Villa Miavana, with a gorgeous dappled stone courtyard and dining furniture surrounded by the fragrant gardens, bursting with vibrant colour.
Original architecture blends with contemporary design panache at Villa Miavana, to provide an exceptional get-away. All appliances are top of the range, making self-catering easy, or, when guests would like a night off, the villa’s chef is on hand to prepare a gourmet meal - what a treat!

- Set in a rural, hilltop location, with so much on offer in the surrounding areas, hired car is greatly beneficial!
- Smaller children will need to be monitored close to pools and in all leisure spa areas

About the surrounding area of Villa MiavanaVilla Miavana is set in a hilly, rural part of Umbria, surrounded by unspoilt woodland with beautiful panoramic views. Alviano is a nature reserve and is known for its spectacular natural beauty.
The region is scattered with pretty, picturesque Umbrian villages, while the area has a rich cultural heritage. From thermal pools to medieval cathedrals and olive oil museum, Umbria has an intriguing amount of history to discover.
Both Rome and Florence are accessible within a day trip, while the closest towns of interest would be Orvieto, the old town which is a fascinating series of winding streets, piazzas and a colourful weekly market.

Best Suited For: All AgesChildren of all ages will be delighted at the enchanting grounds and pool at Villa Miavana; the salt water is better for children’s skin than chlorine, while the gardens are full of interesting nooks and hideaways for hours of exploration. The grounds are both well maintained, yet suitably un-manicured with a charming, natural abundance of colour and scented plants and fruit trees, with far reaching rural views.
Staff are available for offering babysitting services, so grown-ups are also able to enjoy a real holiday, while the villa’s chef can prepare meals for younger palettes, whether this is home comforts or those with more adventures tastes!
The stunning views of rolling Umbrian hills means parents can relax while children are in their element, playing in the gardens or by the pool. Happy children mean parents can unwind!
Umbria is punctuated with pretty, medieval towns. When drinking up the atmosphere becomes too much, there is always a piazza offering a pizza restaurant or a Gelateria to cool down.
Marmore waterfalls are worth a visit, impressively made by the Romans, and an afternoon of rafting will keep those young adventure junkies occupied!

Paradise
Just returned from this paradise! The location is simply unique, framed by the greenery of the surrounding hill and a boundless panorama. The interior, with attention to every aspect, is waiting to be discovered, from the rooms, each different from the other, to the comfortable and spotlessly clean wellness centre. Nothing that isn't a pleasant surprise. We will definitely be back!

Absolute tranquility and fairytale atmosphere. The house is located on top of a hill in a wonderful location with breathtaking views. Attention to every little detail, with taste, originality, color and lots of imagination! Very clean, equipped with everything you need for your stay (cooking, cleaning, etc.), and many services for entertaining and pampering yourself (games room, swimming pool, Turkish bath, etc.). Once again thanks and congratulations to the owners Franco and Aukse, very kind, always available and very discreet. A great discovery, we will definitely be back!

Special in every way
This is Paradise. Don't let the photos of quirky design and furniture make you hesitate even one bit. This place is special in every way. The house makes you feel at home immediately. The view is spectacular and in a perfect location to catch the Umbrian sunset. Aukse and Franco were very accommodating to all our requests and even allowed our large dog as well, which pleased us very much. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool, jacuzzi and games room. Whether you're grabbing sun on the lawn chairs, meeting the little donkeys on the neighboring field, exploring the huge house and finding fun secrets for the entire family, jumping into the pool, playing treasure hunts with the kids or cooking in the well stocked kitchen...This house is a perfect option for everyone and has something to offer to everyone. A real gem!

Sensational experience
I stayed at Villa Miavana for Christmas with my whole family. It was a sensational experience to say the least. The house is finished in every detail, extremely clean and comfortable. Although we were away from home, it was still possible to feel the magic of Christmas thanks to Franco and Aukse who proceeded to furnish and decorate the house impeccably. I thought it was impossible to say after seeing the advert, but the structure is even more beautiful than it can render in the photo. The wellness center inside the house is the icing on the cake: a paradise within reach, accessible whenever you feel like it, which made our stay unforgettable. We will definitely return in the summer to fully enjoy a magnificent garden and a breathtaking view.
