Inside, the large, two-storey house is divided into three cosy apartments, all equipped to the highest standards. The central apartment on the ground floor welcomes you with an exceptional living room adorned with restored stone arches, wooden-beamed ceilings, and an ancient fireplace. Gather with loved ones, uncork a bottle of fine Umbrian wine, and challenge each other to a friendly game of pool. On the first floor, the most exquisite apartment awaits, boasting an ancient stone fireplace, rustic wooden-beamed ceilings, and a splendid view of rolling hills, the shimmering swimming pool, and the Medieval Castles of Montelagello and Monte Vibiano. On this floor, you’ll also find the third apartment with comforts ideal for an intimate family retreat with a master bedroom and a kids' twin room. The entire home is characterised by traditional Italian furnishings and time-honoured pieces transporting you back in time with its rustic charm. The ground-floor kitchen is well equipped for all aspiring chefs, inviting you to whip up a home-cooked meal from ingredients harvested at the estate.
Surrounded by verdant greenery featuring towering trees, vineyards, fields and land used for the production of organic products such as fruit, vegetables and dried legumes, the estate is a true haven for outdoor enthusiasts. Lounge by the inviting swimming pool and soak up the sun’s rays on the terrace, or bring your meals outside to the covered pergola for an unforgettable experience.
The owners invite guests to fully immerse yourself in Umbria's rich food and wine culture by trying seasonal dishes and local artisanal wines produced in the region. You are encouraged to witness farmers at work, indulge in private barbecue dinners under the stars or learn how to make Italian specialities such as pasta and pizza.

About the surrounding area of Organic UmbriaOrganic Umbria is a wonderful country house situated in a landscape of breathtaking beauty, in central Italy’s Umbria region characterised by hilltop towns, dipping plains and lush forests framing the countryside.
The estate extends over an area of 500 hectares of gentle hills and is nestled among three magnificent medieval castles, ideal for daytime wanders. The farming land is still used to this day for the production of wheat, sunflower, corn and sugar beet; the organic olive groves and vineyards produce organic olive oil and the finest wine respectively, thanks to their optimal sun exposure.
Once you’ve explored all the beauty of the surrounding area, hop into the car and drive for 30 minutes to reach Perugia. In this vibrant city which is also the region’s capital, you can wander through its ancient streets adorned with Etruscan archways and Gothic palazzos. Families will also love visiting the Perugina Chocolate Factory for a sweet delight and savouring local pastries in charming cafés. On a sunny day, stroll through Piazza IV Novembre, home to a Gothic cathedral and Fontana Maggiore's mesmerising marble fountain where you can indulge in people-watching from one of the nearby cafés.
Just a short drive away, Assisi offers profound lessons in history and spirituality. Explore the UNESCO-listed Basilica of St. Francis, showcasing 13th-century frescoes and his stone sarcophagus before embarking on a hike through the scenic Mone Subasio park for breathtaking mountain views.
Known as the "City of Lovers," Terni beckons with its archaeological wonders, including a Roman amphitheatre and a Terni cathedral with a façade that has two mediaeval gates. For a day of lakeside serenity, Lake Trasimeno offers pebbled beaches fantastic for soaking up vitamin D and getting your exercise in. You’ll be able to swim in the clear water, rent a paddle board or even a motor boat and explore the lake from every corner. Notably, the picturesque Chiesa di Santa Caterina on Isola Maggiore and the Parco Comunale di Turona with cascading waterfalls and diverse flora make for a superb alternative to city tourism when you’re in need of a tranquil escape.
