I Girasoli is a chic, contemporary home in Le Marche, Central Italy which overlooks rolling hills and countryside. This well-decorated villa can sleep 10 guests across a series of luxurious suites. Set in a rural location, I Girasoli is an ideal retreat, and yet you are within easy reach of plenty of beaches, villages and towns to explore nearby.
This beautiful house is split between two buildings; the first contains the living spaces and kitchen and the second contains five suites which each have a bedroom, sitting area and bathroom. This arrangement makes the home ideal for a large family or group of friends as everyone can spend time together in the common areas before unwinding in their own suites before bed. As well as being well-decorated, the villa also has all of the modern features such as WiFi, air-conditioning and TV with Netflix access.
Stepping out into the garden, you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding fields and hills which show the true beauty of Le Marche. The garden itself is well-appointed and has ancient oak and olive trees, lawns and al-fresco dining areas. The pool is a great feature and overlooks sunflower fields in summer!
Though the villa is rurally located, you are also well-placed to visit nearby medieval villages and a number of towns. The closest amenities are 3.5 km away in a pretty village with walking routes, shops, bars, restaurants and a supermarket set around a historic centre. A little further out is Corinaldo, which is a medieval hill town and a lovely place to visit and is known as one of Italy’s most beautiful villages.
Senigallia is just 20 km from I Girasoli and this seaside resort is a great place to spend the day, the town has a beach, great places to eat and is famous for its chocolate ice-cream!

Location
About the surrounding area of I GirasoliI Girasoli is situated amongst rolling hills and fields in Le Marche, Central Italy and is 20 km away from golden sandy beaches.
The serene, rural landscape is perfect for a tranquil holiday relaxing by the pool and getting out into the local countryside. There are plenty of things to do nearby out in nature, including walking, tennis, fishing, cycling and of course wine-tasting!
Though the villa is in a country location, there are lots of amenities and places to visit close by, whether you wish to pick up some shopping or are looking for exciting days out.
The closest village is 3.5 km away and has a selection of shops, bars and eateries. 5km away is Corinaldo which is slightly bigger and is a stunning place with medieval town walls and a famous set of stairs called the Piaggio. The town has a larger selection of restaurants and historic attractions to enjoy.
If you would like to visit the beach, then you can find what is known as ‘velvet beach’ in Senigallia, 20 km from the villa. This vast, sandy beach has lots of space for sunbathing, gentle waters for swimming and a selection of shops and restaurants close to the seafront. There are also several spas along this stretch of the Adriatic coastline.
In the town of Senigallia, there is much more to see and do, if you are in the area at the end of July you will be able to join in with all of the festivities around the summer jamboree which is a rock & roll festival. The festival offers a vintage fair, food markets, swing and lindy bop classes and over 40 free concerts! The town also has historic buildings, palaces and pretty piazzas; a walking tour would be a great way to take in more of the local culture.

Best Suited For: TeensLe Marche is a brilliant location for a holiday with the children as the region is not as well-known to tourists so you and the kids can enjoy fewer crowds at the nearby towns and attractions.
Adventurous kids will adore this area as there are so many sports and activities on offer locally and lots of countryside for running around or enjoying picnics together. Some of the activities available close to the villa are mountain biking, horse riding, cycling and hiking. For another fun-filled day out you could try a water park, the closest is 45 minutes away by car and has a great selection of slides, a whirlpool, sports areas and a relaxation zone for adults.
As well as having a lovely beach, Senigallia also has an archaeological park which is much-loved by families, these Roman ruins have been well preserved and the kids can see history come to life when exploring the huge amphitheatre, Roman villa and old town remains.
If your little ones are ice-cream lovers, then make sure they try the chocolate ice-cream when in Senigallia as the area is famous for it, you will discover lots of ice-cream parlours which children and of course their parents will love.

I will always carry this experience in my heart
"A Dream come True" would be the way the owner would describe this jewel nestled in the hills of the Marche region of Italy. He spent the better part of the last ten years searching for the perfect place and renovating it to what would become I Girasoli. Now, He shares his dream with his guests and it is in fact, magical. He has created an experience that is simply beautiful. 5 rooms, all with great attention to design, all with the fabulous views of the hillside, all breath-taking. You absolutely feel the love that went into this dream, you live it and then it stays with you. I must mention a few things: the amazing breakfast, set in a gorgeous long rustic table in the living area. There are also beautiful small cities all around the hills that you can visit, the food in the region its incredible so yes, I would say that it is worth coming to Marche just to stay at I Girasoli but there is lots to see as well! I Girasoli was indeed the most memorable part of my latest trip to Italy and I will visit again. I encourage you to do the same, it is worth it! Thank you to the owner and staff for their amazing disposition, their friendliness, their generosity and for sharing their dream with us! I will always carry this experience in my heart...A presto!

Loved every minute!
Loved every minute of the four nights spent there with our daughter. The host has decorated the rooms beautifully. It is a stunning location and the wonderful housekeeper is charming and keeps all wheels well oiled in the absence of the host who is away a few days a week. It was truly “home from home” in beautiful, immaculate surroundings. All in all we had a fabulous time there.

What a fantastic place! If you want to enjoy the beauty and quietness of rural Le Marche in a stunning B&B don't look any further. The house has been restored in an amazing way and offers everything you need. Breakfast is great and your host assists you in every way you would need. We fell in love with this place!

Absolutely Unforgettable Experience
I always wanted to visit the countryside of Le Marche region and I think I just did it in the best possible way.
Le Marche is a wonderful region with splendid sweet hills cultivated and manicured with different cereals and sun flowers, a landscape to die for, lots of medieval old hamlets where you can have unforgettable dinners and wineries that produce a delicious Verdicchio and many other wonderful wines.
I love Tuscany but I have to say that Le Marche has preserved intact the old Italian traditions, it's still under radar of the mass touristic attractions and for this reason is much more authentic and precious.
I Girasoli is an wonderful place to stay: 5 rooms, 2 suites and 3 large bedrooms designed with an impeccable taste not only for the finishing, the furniture and the decorations (how many times did I stay in a room with Diptyque and Cire Trudon candles before?? ....hmm let me think...never!) but also because the hosts are incredible.
The host took us to visit wineries and recommended great places to eat, the housekeeper prepared every morning a lavish breakfast with hand made cakes and cupcakes, local creamy yogurt and a selection of precious oriental teas and fresh fruit.
I stayed in one of the suites, the view was breath-taking, the bathroom and the shower better than a 5 star hotel, bed and sheets premium quality I mean, I'm a heavy traveller and this is one of the best place I've ever been.
We were actually a small group of friends and we rented all 5 rooms for 2 nights: it was a dream come true and the love and passion of the host and housekeeper made this experience absolutely unforgettable.
The location is strategic because you can reach beautiful beaches in 15 minutes or you can choose to wander among Italian ancient hamlets, castles, hills and eat, drink and love, literally.
Thank you to the host and thank you to the housekeeper, I miss you already!!

I must say that I Girasoli rates as one of the most beautiful places we've stayed in. It is fairly new, so it has all of the modern conveniences that we enjoy (large shower, very comfortable bed), but it is the care and passion of the owner that shows through in how the suites /rooms have been decorated. Although the owner was away during our stay, he stayed in close contact via phone and text so that he could give us suggestions on where to eat, places to visit, etc. His assistant took great care of us, providing us with a wonderful breakfast every morning and helping us find our way around. We had a slight problem with the AC while we were there, but both the owner and his assistant worked tirelessly until they got the problem solved. This is a lovely place, and we hope to return again someday!

It Is Perfect
From the minute we booked to the minute we left it was all great. The host was very helpful with planning our trip and having had a peak at all the rooms I think ours was best! (Room #2, 2 patio doors outside and wonderfully comfortable chairs to relax inside). Other rooms are larger and one has basic kitchen facilities if travelling with children.
Breakfast was delicious local yogurts, cereal and the housekeeper's cakes. The housekeeper is wonderful at taking care of all your needs and we used the kitchen a couple of times to prepare simple meals when we did not fancy leaving the house.
Which you have to do! This is at the end of a drive with the nearest town about 7 minute drive so come prepared for quiet and isolation. If this is what you want, it is perfect. The surrounding fields of sunflowers were just coming out too bringing a riot of colour.
I would definitely recommend and possibly return in the future too. Thank you to our hosts. -
One of the best vacations ever!
We got to the villa with the owner and some friends who know him. We had just met him the previous day. We did not plan to be at the villa, it was all organized at the last minute, and DAMN!!!!!!! What a treat.
5 bedrooms, great design, amazing view, and if you like YOGA, just do a sun salutation at 8 am when the sun is coming up from the hillsides in front of the hotel. One of the best vacations EVER!!!!! -
It is heaven.
I read the beautiful reviews before deciding to spend a weekend at I Girasoli but it completely surpassed my expectations. The property is in a choice spot nestled in the hills - there is only beauty as far as the eye can see. It is tastefully landscaped and all day you smell the jasmine and the roses. The pool is a picture perfect setting. Breakfast is elegant with anything you could desire. The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. With only five rooms, it feels intimate and discreet but still friendly. The host is extremely hospitable.... he will give you all of the ideas and suggestions you could ever wish for and is just a doll to chat with. I truly did not want to leave. It is heaven. Most definitely a place to return to over and over again for relaxation and rejuvenation. I feel very lucky to have discovered this spot and hope it remains exactly as it is.... a bit of a ‘hidden’ jewel!
