Villa Note offers a delightful, rustic interior with plenty of space to relax in. At this magnificent home you have access to 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large living room and fully-equipped kitchen. Feel right at home in the cosy living area which also has patio doors opening onto the outdoor terrace.
The outside area of this villa is even more enchanting with a spacious leafy garden area and two terraces to lounge or dine on. The large outdoor pool is equipped with multiple sun loungers and offers fantastic views of the surrounding natural scenery. In addition, there is a barbecue area which you can utilise if you wish to have a night in one evening and enjoy a family dinner outdoors.
As well as being in an incredible countryside setting, this property is just a 5 minute drive away from the nearest town, Beynac-et-Cazenac. You can find several amenities here as well as having the opportunity to admire the town’s beauty. On top of this, from this villa you can visit some unbelievable castles. Whilst in Beynac-et-Cazenac be sure to stop by the remarkable Château de Beynac where the movie Jeanne d’Arc was filmed. Moreover, drive just 20 minutes to reach the impressive Château des Milandes.
Additionally, you can get to the historical towns and villages of Domme, Monpazier and Belvès in only 20-40 minutes by car. Further afield, the breathtaking Causses du Quercy Natural Regional Park lies just 1 hour away. Furthermore, the beautiful city of Bordeaux sits only 2 hours and 20 minutes away.

About the surrounding area of Villa NoteSituated in a peaceful location surrounded by greenery and rolling hills, this property offers the ideal getaway. As well as benefiting from a tranquil location, this villa is just a 5 minute drive away from the nearest town, Beynac-et-Cazenac, where you can find an array of amenities. What’s more, Beynac is one of the most beautiful towns in France and offers some spectacular viewpoints as well as enchanting architecture. Roam the old cobbled streets and admire the idyllic typical houses which line them. Whilst here, be sure not to miss the exquisite castle where the movie Jeanne d’Arc was filmed, Château de Beynac. The castle offers unbelievable views of the valley and Dordogne River below.
Furthermore, at this property you are within easy reach of many magnificent castles. Only 10 minutes away by car sits the majestic Château de Marqueyssac. Built in the 19th century, this stone tiled castle is surrounded by stunning gardens which are perfect for strolling through. Moreover, drive just 20 minutes to reach the famous Château des Milandes, bought by the French dancer Josephine Baker in 1947.
In addition, at Villa Note you are a short drive away from many spectacular towns and villages. The marvellous town of Domme is just a 20 minute drive from the villa. This gorgeous town has plenty of terrific sites to see and attractions to visit including the largest natural cave in the region, La Porte des Tours and the Musée Paul Reclus. One of the prettiest towns in France, Belvès, is also only a 25 minute drive from the property. Some must-sees in this town are the Place des Arms and the city hall. What’s more, the fortified mediaeval village of Monpazier is just a 40 minute drive away.
You can also easily reach the spell-binding Causses du Quercy Natural Regional Park. Here you can go hiking and boating as well as stopping by the several villages located throughout the park and exploring its prehistoric caves. It is roughly a 1 hour drive from the property. One of the best villages to visit here is Rocamadour. It attracts a huge number of visitors and pilgrims every year due to its sanctuaries. On top of this, the sensational city of Bordeaux is just 2 hours and 20 minutes away.

Region
The pace of life in the Dordogne is languid, laid back and positively infectious. Relax in bucolic beauty as you drift along the Dordogne River, or wander among the forests and hillside of the Périgord Natural Park.
The foodie scene too, is a relaxed affair. Take your time over your lazy lunches of local duck, black truffles and goats cheese. If you’re feeling energetic, you can even hunt for them yourself. The wine here is second to none, with infamous grapes like Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Chenin Blanc all having a huge presence here.
The Dordogne is also brimming with history. Castles and chateaux are scattered throughout the region, among the enchanting medieval villages. History of an altogether more ancient sort can also be explored in the incredible prehistoric cave drawings of Lascaux and Grotte de Rouffignac.

Head to the brilliant Causses du Quercy Natural Regional Park where the children can go kayaking surrounded by outstanding nature, just an hour’s drive from the property. In addition, they can discover the many fascinating prehistoric caves here.
For a fun day out with all the family, drive just 40 minutes to Quercyland. Here the children will be kept entertained all day, with huge waterslides on offer as well as an outdoor play area with inflatable castles, trampolines and paddle boats. Pay extra to enter the Fun Zone where the kids can play on high ropes and have a go on a zip-line. For younger children there is a toddler splash pool.

What a magnificent place!
We had a fantastic week in Villa Note. Actually way too short! We have never rented such a super clean and well-equipped house. From enough kitchen utensils to nice sunbeds by the pool. What a magnificent place! Wonderfully quiet and yet close to the sights. We enjoyed the house and garden and so did our dog. The swimming pool was also wonderful to cool down. It's nice that you can cover it with a roll cover in the evening, so that the temperature remains just right.
It is also good that you are welcomed by the kind owners upon arrival and immediately receive a brief explanation of equipment etc. in the house and that they show you around. The bottle of wine was also much appreciated.
Hopefully we'll be back next year! -

A beautiful house in a beautiful place. A house where everything is right, in terms of kitchen utensils and furnishings. The house was very clean, rarely seen. We would love to come back here again!

Amazing!
What a beautiful, spacious house. And above all a beautiful large garden with swimming pool. And the environment is beautiful! Because the garden is completely fenced, also along the road, it is safe for children and dogs. The owners are very nice, we received a bottle of wine on arrival and on departure. Problems are solved immediately.

Nothing but praise!
Nothing but praise for our stay in Villa Note. Despite the changeable, fresh weather, we still enjoyed the beautiful, well-kept garden with clean pool and plenty of sunbeds. Cozy aperitifs on the terrace and lovely sitting and eating close to the bbq. A quietly located villa with every comfort inside and out and everything neatly maintained. We are fans.

Beautiful, clean and comfortable
Villa Note was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The landscape all in relief was very beautiful. You just had to sit on the lawn at the end of the afternoon to be disconnected of everything and to see a beautiful sunset facing the pool.
