Overview
Sitting peacefully within a small seaside resort at the mouth of the Loire, Maison Maritime enjoys a privileged position close to the sea and a sandy beach. Clear views of the coastline can be enjoyed from the charming outside space that backs directly onto estate land. The idyllic area is ideal for activities such as cycling, hiking, swimming, sand yachting and kitesurfing.
Contemporary and sleek in style, this villa sleeps up to six people in three sophisticated bedrooms that open directly into different areas of outside space. One bedroom is beach-facing, so you can start each morning with a deep breath of invigorating sea air.
The main living area is bright and airy by day, with doors opening straight out onto the pool terrace and small garden area. There's a cosy atmosphere to be enjoyed as night falls and you get comfortable on the sofa, with a fireplace offering even more warmth. The most striking architectural feature of this sociable open-plan space is the beautiful glass divide with sliding doors that lead through into the kitchen.
There's a choice of outside spaces to relax and unwind at Maison Maritime. Spend quieter times on the central terrace as you sit with a drink and your favourite book. The main area is where you'll find the pool set within a terrace for dining al fresco and lying back on sun loungers. Wherever you decide to chill out in the main garden, you'll be treated to calming views of the sea.
Within minutes of stepping outside the villa you can be enjoying both country and coastal walks. Cycling is also a great way to see the naturally beautiful landscapes in the area. The sea offers the chance to swim and try a range of water sports.
Around a 25-minute drive away and situated on the Loire Estuary is the city of Saint-Nazaire. Boat and maritime lovers will enjoy exploring this city, with its submarine base and museum, shipbuilding museum and sea cruises.
The bustling city of Nantes is an hour's drive from the villa and offers historic sightseeing, galleries, museums, and leafy parks and gardens to stroll around.

Long awaited holiday
This was a holiday that we had waited a long time for. As health care workers it was wonderful to find that the location and quality of our accommodation plus the warm welcome was just as we had expected.
We enjoyed all the facilities and actually booked our return in 2024 whilst still there!
Thank you Oliver's Travels for such a fantastic holiday! -
Excellent
Villa très agréable et moderne, piscine bien chauffée, vue mer, petit sentier sans véhicule pour faire du vélo juste devant la maison. Propriétaires sympathiques. Nous recommandons.
