What’s more, this property is only a 10 minute drive away from the gorgeous city of Biarritz. On top of this, this villa is in the ideal location to explore the rest of the Basque Country, a unique region rich in history and culture. Reach the magical city of Bayonne in only 15 minutes by car where you can get lost in its mediaeval streets and admire the impressive Gothic-style cathedral.
Moreover, both the charming coastal town of Hendaye and the delightful fishing port of Saint-Jean-de-Luz are just a half an hour drive away. Additionally, the magical city of Donostia-San Sebastián situated in the Spanish part of the Basque country is only a 40 minute drive away.

About the surrounding area of Villa MilouSituated in a delightful, residential area just a 10 minute drive from the centre of Biarritz, this property offers the perfect location. With the closest bars and restaurants being only a 25 minute walk from this home as well as a wider array of amenities sitting just a 10 minute drive away in the city centre, you couldn’t ask for more. Some must-see sites in the city include Rocher de la Vierge, La Grande Plage and Port Vieux. However, simply strolling the streets of this gorgeous city is enough to delight the entire family. From amazing architecture to breathtaking beaches, it's hard not to fall in love with Biarritz.
Furthermore, the terrific city of Bayonne, full of culture, art and history, is only a 15 minute drive from Villa Milou. Roam the charming narrow streets as you take in the incredible architecture all around you. Be sure to visit the Gothic Cathedral, Basque Museum and Château-Vieux whilst here.
In addition, make sure not to miss the lovely coastal town of Hendaye, a half an hour drive away from the property. Take some time to stroll around the marvellous old town and walk along the picturesque Bay Path from which you can enjoy spectacular views of the Bay of Txingudi. Along the walk you can also spot the idyllic town of Hondarribia sitting just over the the river on the Spanish side of the Basque Country.
You can also reach the adorable fishing port of Saint-Jean-de-Luz in just half an hour by car. Don’t miss the beach and its promenade, Rue Gambetta, Maison Louis XIV and Église Saint-Jean-Baptiste. On top of this, you can reach the beautiful town of Hondarribia in just a 35 minute drive from Villa Milou. Once in Hondarribia you will be treated to a wonderful array of fabulous restaurants and bars in both the old town and marina area.
Moreover, the sensational city of Donostia-San Sebastián is only a 40 minute drive away. This magnificent city is well known for its outstanding cuisine, breathtaking beaches and quaint old town. Bar hop your way through the old town and try out the wide array of delicious pintxos on offer. Hike up Monte Urgull to see some incredible views of the city, spend an afternoon at Playa de la Concha or take a ride up the funicular to get to the superb Parque de Atracciones Monte Igueldo.

Best Suited For: All AgesBiarritz is an exceptional location to visit with the whole family. Head for a fun-filled family day out at one of the several beaches on offer. Two of the most beautiful beaches in the city are Plage du Port Vieux and Plage Miramar which are only a 10 minute drive away. The little ones are sure to love paddling in the clear blue sea and building sandcastles here.
Additionally, Biarritz has many fantastic child friendly museums. Take a trip to the fascinating Musée de la Mer de Biarritz dedicated to the city’s sea, a ten minute drive away. Slightly further afield, head to the Monte Igueldo theme park in Donostia-San Sebastián, 40 minutes away by car. Here the kids can have a go on retro roller coasters as well as dodgems whilst the adults admire the impressive view.
