Dotted with historic castles, ancient monuments and beautiful beaches, as well as the dramatic backdrop of the Kozjak mountain, this area is beautiful and calm – the perfect escape from the hustle of tourist towns. Located between Trogir and Split, you can easily access the livelier areas of Croatia, exploring at your own pace.

The villa itself is beautiful and modern, with three floors separated into three different suites, ideal for large groups where everyone needs a bit of their own space. With plenty of room for fourteen guests both inside and out, you have your own tranquil paradise, a serene escape from busy day to day lives.

Each of the floors has its own private kitchen, living room and terrace, all with simple, modern styles throughout. Two of the living areas are cosier and more intimate, ideal for a group of four or six in each, whilst the final one feels more spacious, providing an indoor space where all fourteen guests can come together. With access straight out to a balcony from each living area, you can maintain a constant connection with the beautiful surroundings and famous Croatian sunshine.
Constant glimpses of the sea on the horizon add a peaceful nature to the villa, with the sea breeze drifting almost the entire way into your room.

Throughout the rest of the villa, there are five double bedrooms and two twin rooms, all sharing four modern bathrooms. Each of the bedrooms feels simple and relaxed, with comfy beds and plenty of storage for all your belongings. A cot and high-chair can be provided for our youngest guests, all designed to meet your every comfort.

Downstairs the villa boasts a jacuzzi, gym and a sauna, where the last of your stress can melt away, helping to settle you into holiday mode. Outside the luxury continues, with a large heated swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers and comfy seating, so you can sit in the sun all day long. Kids will also love playing on the swing, trampoline and table-tennis table while you prepare a delicious meal.

There is a spacious summer kitchen under a covered shelter on the terrace, with two barbecues, both gas and wood fired where you grill fresh fish and local grown vegetables, dining together under the stars – the perfect way to end each evening on holiday.

Villa Ina offers a great location, with the bustling streets and ancient monuments of Split nearby, whilst the immediate surroundings to the villa are serene and tranquil. Situated in Kaštel Gomilica, between Trogir and Split City and just a short walk from the picturesque Kaštela Bay, you have the perfect balance of peaceful beach life and the hustle and bustle of the Croatian coastline.

Kaštela Bay itself is bursting with charm and character, with an abundance of bars, restaurants and shops dotted along the shoreline. There is a family-friendly feel to the town, with a peaceful ambience that you can really settle into. The town of Kaštela is composed of seven different coastal villages built around 15th and 16th-century castles. Villa Ina is located within Kaštel Gomilica, but you have easy access to all seven. The castles have never been restored, so the ancient ruins add a romance and authenticity, that other Croatian coastal destinations sometimes lack.

For those looking to enjoy the beach, the beautiful Kaštela Bay is just 200 meters away, where you can snorkel and swim in the crystal-clear water, sunbathing on loungers and strolling along the beach, all whilst enjoying the beautiful backdrop of the Kozjak mountain. There are plenty of activities for kids and adventurous adults to enjoy, with diving, jet skiing, sea kayaking, tennis and horse riding to name a few. For families, we recommend taking a boat trip down the coastline, offering new sights to see and coves to swim in, with something for every age group.

If you want a change from the beach, then Villa Ina offers a great location at the base of the Kozjak mountain, where you can hike historic trails up from the town. The trails are mostly easy and short, taking less than 2 hours and boasting breath-taking views of the Kaštela Bay and Split. At the top of almost all the peaks, you will find chapels and archaeological sites to explore, a magical adventure!

During your stay you have to visit the city of Split, which you can easily get to in a short drive. You can spend the day visiting Diocletian's Palace, Saint Domnius Cathedral and Mestrovic Gallery, then take a wander along Bacvice Beach, soaking in the stunning views, before stopping to eat in the local restaurants and drink a cocktail in a historic bar.

Nestled along the captivating Dalmatian Coast, it’s a vibrant mix of modern life and ancient history, making it a thriving hub for both locals and tourists.

The heart of Split is the historic Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that stands as one of the best-preserved Roman monuments in the world. Built for the Roman Emperor Diocletian in the 4th century, this massive complex now forms the nucleus of the city. Within the palace walls, you'll discover a labyrinth of narrow streets, charming squares, and historic buildings. The Peristyle, an open-air courtyard, is a central gathering place, and both the Cathedral of Saint Domnius and the Temple of Jupiter showcase remarkable examples of ancient architecture. Strolling through the ancient streets, you'll come across quaint shops, lively cafes, and local markets.

The Riva promenade is the city's vibrant waterfront hub. Lined with cafes, restaurants, and shops, it's the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely stroll, sip a coffee, or dine while overlooking the stunning Adriatic Sea. The palm-lined promenade offers a lively atmosphere day and night, with street performers and events throughout the year.

Just a short walk from the from the centre of Split is Marjan Hill, a pristine nature park that offers a peaceful retreat from the bustling city streets. The park features lush greenery, jogging trails, and stunning viewpoints overlooking the city and the sea. It's an ideal place for hiking, picnicking, or simply enjoying the natural beauty of the Mediterranean.

The Split region offers a variety of beautiful beaches. Bacvice and Ovcice are two popular choices conveniently located near the city centre. The sandy shores are perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and trying your hand at the local beach sport, picigin. Exploring further along the coast, you'll find numerous rocky coves and pebble beaches, each with their own unique charm.

For adventure seekers, Split offers a wide array of outdoor activities and water sports. From kayaking and paddle-boarding to sailing and scuba diving, there's something for everyone who wants to experience the Adriatic up close. Split is a great base for taking boat trips to the nearby islands, where you can explore underwater caves and secluded beaches.

Croatian cuisine is known for its fresh, local ingredients and Mediterranean influence. You’ll be able to savour delicious seafood, grilled meats, and traditional recipes. To experience authentic Croatian flavours, visit the local konoba (taverns) that serve traditional dishes like pasticada (a slow-cooked beef stew), and peka (baked meat and vegetables). Pair your meal with local wines and olive oils for a complete gastronomic experience.

Split is a city of remarkable beauty and historical significance. Whether you're exploring ancient streets, soaking up the sun on pristine beaches, or indulging in delectable local cuisine, Split promises an unforgettable experience.
