Overview of Tradewinds at the Tryall Club

This cozy home sits on two acres at the famous Tryall Club - directly on the Caribbean Sea. 300 feet of waterfront form the north perimeter of the property. The water here is excellent for swimming and snorkeling. Sometimes the sea is as smooth as glass. and sometimes its waves break dramatically against the sea wall - a truly picturesque location.

To the east of the house is a large grassy lawn, wonderful for children's games. The beach club, pro shop, driving range, first tee, and casual beach bar and restaurant are a three-minute walk or a one-minute golf cart ride.

In the living room is the entertainment center with cable television, sound system and library of videos and CD's. A wet bar adjoins the living room. Ten glass-paneled doors open to the spacious verandah and pool terrace, generously furnished with chaise lounges, tables and chairs. Stone steps lead from the terrace directly into the water. Most meals are served here on the breezy terrace near the sea. In addition to the outside dining table, Tradewinds also has an inside dining room with seating for ten under a whimsical chandelier. One wall of the dining room opens wide to a lush garden of tall tropical plants, beautifully lighted each night.

At each day's end, the sound of waves lapping nearby lulls guests to sleep.

While quite private, Tradewinds is in an area of other fine private homes. Large groups may combine Tradewinds with neighboring Reef House and Phoenix for a total of 12 bedrooms, 300 feet of waterfront, three pools, and three staff (each including a cook). All guests may dine together and all staff will combine the food preparation and service.

It is easily accessible, the city boasts a first class international airport, as well as a port used by many international cruise lines.

The Coral Sea has the appearance of a submarine but in reality is a boat with an air conditioned underwater viewing compartment, to sit and watch the wonders of Montego Bay's marine life park; coral, hundreds of tropical fish, turtles and sting rays.

As well as dazzling waters, Montego bay also offers history, culture and wildlife. The Rocklands Feeding station is a must for bird lovers, located only minutes from Montego Bay. The Belvedere estate also draws in tourists from every area, as one of the first sugar cane plantations in Jamaica and still a working estate. It's owner, Mr. Pat McGann has opened it to the public so that the estate may share it's natural beauty, rivers, waterfalls, ruins and exotic plants with tourists and the public.

For sport lovers, Montego Bay is home to 4 different golf courses, including the world famous Tryall Golf Club which sits in a stunning 2,200 acre estate with sweeping vistas down to the captivatingly blue Carribean Sea.
