An exquisite 6-bedroom property that can sleep up to 12 guests, located in the popular area of Ocho Rios. Artwood Reef was completed in March 2020, allowing guests to reside in a stylish and modern home away from home. This villa is directly on the seafront, offering spectacular views of the magnificent Caribbean Sea. During your stay at this property, the lovely Artwood Reef’s staff will help make sure your holiday is truly relaxing, there is a chef, butler, housekeeper, laundress, and gardener to make sure you have everything you need.
Entering the villa, you will see an array of art pieces from some of Jamaica’s most acclaimed artists such as Dready Art and Pinto Pottery. Artwood Reef hosts a living area that is at a sunken level, creating an ultra-modern and sleek atmosphere as soon as you enter the room. Beyond the living room is a widespread veranda, complete with immersive views of the crystal blue sea. The living area is the ideal space for dining as it comes with a truly unique table that was crafted from a single piece of Tamarind.
This property also has an interactive games room, offering guests the chance to play pool or enjoy entertainment on a flatscreen TV. This room follows through to a media room with a large TV and comfortable seating area, making it perfect for those unmissable family movie nights.
The lower level of Artwood Reef contains two bedrooms. The first is known as ‘Sea Egg’, home to a luxurious king-size bed and access to an expansive veranda that is ideal for those beautiful views of the sunrise. This room also contains a lovely en-suite bathroom, equipped with a personal vanity area and walk-in-rain, and handheld shower.
The second bedroom is called ‘Jellyfish.’ This room contains two twin-sized beds and two swinging chairs in the veranda area. Moreover, this room also includes a large en-suite bathroom, combining both comfort and luxury.
The upper level of the property contains three additional bedrooms. ‘Sea Fan’ is a master bedroom that also makes use of an alluring en-suite bathroom. This bathroom has both a deep bathtub as well as a shower, giving guests an array of options to choose from.
‘Anemone’ has another king-sized bed and access to an en-suite bathroom. This bedroom also leads out to the collection of swinging chairs that reside on the veranda. This gives the property an added feeling of freedom and tranquility.
Finally, ‘Driftwood’ contains a king-size bed and gives guests unrestricted access to a balcony. Guests that choose to sleep in this room have the unmistakable privilege of waking up every morning to the sound of calming waves.
The upper level of Artwood Reef also has a Sky Gazing Deck, perfect for relaxing in the evening and having the opportunity to stare out at the endless horizon. Adding on to this, the property also has an impeccable infinity-edge pool and a hot tub for guests to wind down in after a long day of soaking up the sun.
What you should know…
- The owner does not allow the villa to be used for weddings, hospitality events or outside guests
- The villa is loacetd on waterfront however the small beach is reached from a gate to the side of the property.
- Please note that you will need to select 12 guests should you wish to have access to all 6 bedrooms. Those selecting fewer guests will only have access to a prorated number of bedrooms based on 2 guests per room.

About the surrounding area of Artwood ReefArtwood Reef makes use of an abundance of amenities, allowing guests to relax and have fun at their own pace. Just a short distance away from this villa is Hermosa Cove Boutique Resort, which has a glorious beach that guests are free to visit. This beach is the perfect place to soak in the glorious Caribbean sun and let all of your worries melt away. The property also contains The Almond Tree Terrace, a widespread area that hosts a shaded barbecue area, a 3-pin putting green, and a collection of loungers for guests to sit and relax in.
For more active guests, there is a pickleball court, a tennis court, and a variety of golf courses all within the Hermosa Cove Boutique Resort. These activities ensure that guests can enjoy sport and relaxation and their own leisure during their time at Artwood Reef. Additionally, watersports such as kayaking, paddle boarding, and snorkelling are all available by request.
The surrounding area of Ocho Rios is best known for its breath-taking beaches and well-established tourism sector. There is an abundance of shopping outlets offering typical souvenirs and even high-end designer items. Ocho Rios welcomes travellers with open arms, inviting them to revel in its bustling nightlife that truly captures the joyful spirit of Jamaica. Furthermore, fans of the Rastafarian legend, Bob Marley, will adore the Bob Marley Museum. Guests can partake in a spectacular guided tour that begins at the port in Ocho Rios, which is just an hour and a half away from the villa. Devoted fans can discover the musician’s place of birth and travel through the story of his life and love of music.
Animal lovers are also in for a treat, with an incredible attraction just a 10-minute drive away. At the Konoko Falls and Park, you are able to come face-to-face with some of Jamaica’s most incredible creatures, including macaws, turkeys, and peacocks. Previous guests have praised the tremendous staff at Konoko Falls for their educated and well-trained guides, giving guests an insight into the glorious views found in this location.

Please be aware that Jamaica is an island nation that experiences weather patterns dictated by the Atlantic Ocean to the north of the island and the Caribbean Sea to the south of the island. Getting There
Jamaica has two international airports, Donald Sangster in Montego Bay and Norman Manley, Kingston.
From the US:
There are many direct flights with Jet Blue, Caribbean, Delta, American and United from cities including New York, Chicago, Miami, Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston and Philadelphia.
From the UK:
There are direct flights to Montego Bay from Gatwick and Manchester with American Airlines, British Airways or Virgin Atlantic. Glasgow and Belfast passengers can also fly via the US with United Airlines.

Artwood Reef uses multiple king-size beds which can offer children of all sizes and ages a comfortable night’s sleep. Not to mention, The Almond Tree Terrace offers a wide variety of places for children to sit and unwind before jumping back into the day’s activities. This can help younger guests to truly relax and better take in the wondrous surroundings.
If your child enjoys swimming, then this villa is a flawless option. Younger guests are encouraged to explore and swim in the reef by Hermosa Cove Boutique Resort. This gives children the chance to get up close and personal with the wonders of marine life that are found in the Caribbean Sea. Plus, children can splash around and have fun in the villa’s own infinity-edge pool.
Ocho Rios is also considered to be a family-friendly town, offering a selection of activities for younger guests to enjoy. Take for example the Rainforest Adventures amusement park. This thrilling theme park offers an array of high-intensity rollercoasters and more mellow attractions for smaller children. Guests are encouraged to see Ocho Rios from new heights on the amazing Sky Explorer. Rainforest Adventures can be found just 5-minutes away from Artwood Reef.

Villa Staff at this property:
A full-time dedicated chef, butler, housekeeper, gardener and personal laundress attend exclusively to your villa.
Your cook will handle grocery shopping and meal preparation. They will pre-purchase your first few meals plus pantry staples, then finish the week's shopping after meeting with you. At week's end, they will present receipts for all food and beverage and reconcile your account. A typical grocery budget is $65-$75 per adult per day and $20-25 per day for preteens. This may vary up or down depending on market prices and menus.(more luxurious items such as shrimp, lobster, imported meats and Champagne will incur a further charge).
Your cook will also pre-purchase a small starter bar (a few bottles of Red Stripe, moderately-priced wine and rum). Additional alcohol requests will increase your budget. If you wish to go to the various markets with them, you are welcome. Otherwise, simply review your tastes and distastes with them and they'll handle it all while you stay at the villa and relax.
A nanny can be arranged for an average of $12 per hour. Guests should plan to add approximately $20 per day for food for their nanny.

Please note that all extras are subject to availability and must be requested in advance of the holiday (prices on request). Due to some rural/remote locations, not all services will be available at all properties. However, we will always do our best to fulfil your requests!

Villa Conditions

- A 50% deposit may be required for bookings that include Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Years Eve.
- A obligatory Gratuity rate of 15% of the overall booking is due to be paid to the Staff before departure. Please plan to pay in Cash (US Dollars or the local currency).
