The sleeping accommodation is spread over six elegant bedrooms made up of a mix of singles and doubles many with additional sofa beds to accommodate large groups. Throw open the windows and listen to the morning birdsong of your idyllic surroundings. With multiple bathrooms throughout the house, including an en suite in the master bedroom, convenience is always assured, and all linens are included for your convenience.
Step into the sprawling landscaped garden, where an array of outdoor amenities awaits. Beyond the comforts of Medlar House, a traditional Devon farming village beckons, just a short stroll away. Explore the village's old church and two traditional English country pubs, including the esteemed Ring of Bells pub, renowned for its culinary delights and accolades such as gastropub of the year Southwest.
The bustling city of Exeter is just a thirty-minute drive away with plenty of places to explore offering clay shooting, Segway rides and a range of outdoor activities. Take a trip to Exeter Cathedral to visit the clandestine corners and amazing architecture. You can book a guided tour to learn more about the historic beauty of the building or go at your own pace. Known as the southern gateway to Exmoor, the lovely market town of Dulverton is perfectly placed to explore the beauty of the Exmoor National Park, under an hour away. The town boasts its own range of local art galleries, antique stores and cafes with tea and cakes aplenty, with endless walks and routes for all abilities that can be explored on foot, by bike or even on horseback. Whilst there why not take the circular route from Dulverton to the ancient clapper bridge of the Tarr Steps, a stunning stroll through beautiful woodland and picturesque scenery.

Kids will love playing outside in the lush gardens or diving into the pool, whilst inside WIFI, TV’s and well stocked games room offer the chance to relax in all weathers.
Head out and discover the local area with many activities to suit all ages. Little ones will love to get up close and personal with the Shetland ponies at Humaryn in Holne, where you can groom the ponies first before taking them out for a little trek.
The beautiful local area has much to explore for young ones with plenty of cycling routes, scenic walks and outdoor activities. In addition to this Exeter City, a half hour drive away has rock-climbing at the Quay Climbing Centre, paintballing at Skirmish Devon and a range of museums to explore.
Just under an hour’s drive from the property is a great family spot, Wildwood Escot. Set in stunning parkland with a beautiful selection of plants and trees are a number of fantastic animals to spot including wolverines, lynx, otters and many more.
