Where is hot during the year?

Are you already panning your 2024 villa holiday? check out our trending destinations here:

January, February, March

The tropical Riviera Maya offers hot temperatures even early in the year (when the rainfall is at its lowest) and is known for its impressive Mayan ruins, picturesque cenotes, and lively yet relaxing atmosphere. Its stunning long white beaches and the warmth of the Caribbean sea make for an ever-alluring holiday destination.

Barbados is warm all year, however the first three months of the year are some of the best times to visit. With hot days and warm evenings, it’s a great place to escape for some winter sun and a culture-soaked Caribbean holiday.

With the rainy season finishing in December, January – March is the ideal time to visit Thailand’s eastern island, Koh Samui. Dry and hot, reaching 29° you can experience the vibrant culture, powder-soft beaches and crystal-clear water without being caught in a monsoon.

April, May, June

Varying between 25° and 33° at this time of year, Morocco is a top destination for people looking to experience somewhere a little bit different. Shop ‘til you drop in Marrakech’s bustling souks, venture into the magical Sahara Desert or take to the beach for some of the world’s best surf… it’s a place like no other.

A picture postcard of whitewashed houses with blue shutters scattered over rocky hillsides crowned by windmills – that’s the image that Mykonos immediately conjures. However, there is so much more to the island that appeals to all, from quiet golden-sand coves and wild watersports to world-class dining and decadent nightlife. There’s something for everyone on marvellous Mykonos.

This is a great time to visit Turkey – the temperatures are warm, and the tourists haven’t started pouring in yet. Golden beaches, ancient archeological sites, seaside towns and one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World; Bodrum has got it going on!

July, August, September

A great destination for the whole family, Sicily boasts hot Mediterranean sunshine (between 26°-30°) at this time of year. Although visiting outside of these months is still very warm. With great outdoor activities, history, art and cuisine – everyone will love it!

Peak season for this slice of Spanish paradise, Mallorca hits between 27°-30° in these months. With stunning diverse landscapes - from vineyards in the countryside to cliff-fringed swimming coves, it’ll always be a go-to for a summer getaway.

Sardinia’s diverse coastline is peppered with Caribbean-like white sand beaches, caves and grottos, sheer cliffs and rocky outcrops making for some pretty awe-inspiring hikes, swimming and snorkelling. This lends way to the freshest and tastiest local seafood, and you’re never too far from a fragrant bakery or a cooling gelateria.

October, November, December

This time of year is when Cyprus starts to cool off, but it still reaches an average of 22° in November, so it’s great for those who are looking for somewhere pleasant to retreat in Autumn. Rich in historical sites, golden beaches and great food, Cyprus is an intriguing myth-soaked country.

Tenerife is great this time of year with temperatures between 20° - 25°, it's known for turquoise waters along white beaches and volcanic mountains covered in lush greenery. If that isn’t enough – treat yourself to amazing cuisine, local wines and activities like stargazing at the top of Mount Teide.

Embrace the low season in this charming region - The South of France never really gets too cold anyway! Cote d'Azur and Provence are full of world-class dining spots, museums and boutique shops, that you can explore even when the temperatures are cooler.
