About the surrounding area of Villa SumanaVilla Sumana is nestled in a prime spot, surrounded by tropical greenery and glistening sea views at every turn; guests will have the sense of having chanced upon their own private paradise, set on an almost unknown beach yet close to the bustle and bright lights of Phuket Town. Natai Beach overlooks the Phang Nga Bay, which forms part of the Ao Phang Nga National Park.
With just a short boat ride, guests will find themselves on the stunning islands of the Phang Nga Bay, which are well worth a visit.
Natai Beach offers secluded tranquillity, stretching to an impressive 10km, just 6km north of Phuket town, enjoying seclusion from the bustling distractions and tourist-trodden thoroughfare of some of Phuket’s other hot spots. Visitors can meander through coconut groves and secluded lagoons enjoying a drop in pace from modern life.
Phuket is the country’s largest island and has drawn visitors for decades, offering everything from colourful nightlife to vibrant markets with street food and local crafts to diverse water sports, the unadulterated beauty of the national parks or a taste of Thailand’s spiritual temple life.
Scattered around the bay, there are around 40 islands to discover - some of these barely touched by man. There is the famous “James Bond” island (or Ko Khao Phing Kan) from the film Man with the Golden Gun, while some of the smaller islands are virtually undiscovered. Ao Phang Nga national park covers nearly 250 square miles, boasting limestone cliffs, green lagoons and great kayaking conditions.
Heading into Phuket Town, visitors will enjoy an eclectic blend of old and new - heritage buildings jostling with street food stalls and local life. The Night Market is worth a visit, offering a colourful blend of food courts, artisan crafts, entertainment and souvenirs.

Children of all ages will enjoy the long stretch of sand at Natai Beach, which is on this home’s doorstep, while heading into Phuket Town will be a fun family experience, to take in the crafts, food courts and street entertainment. There are also museums in Phuket Town and the famous “upside-down” house which are worth a visit.
For a day of island hopping, the wonderful Phang Nga Bay has hundreds of islands, ideal for wildlife spotting and water-sports. One of Thailand’s biggest water parks - Splash Jungle Waterpark - is a fantastic family day out, with an adrenaline-pumping selection of slides, rides and attractions, they will come back to the resort happy and tired out.
Phuket Aquarium is a great choice for overly hot or rainy days; it houses thousands of tropical, colourful and exotic marine creatures in over 30 tanks.
