Santiburi’s premium Santiburi Villa is truly amazing. Offering complete luxury and comfort in 2 opulent, contemporary bedrooms with a gorgeous separate living room, two sleek en-suite, marble bathrooms and a fantastic jacuzzi right on the center of the garden, it is ideal for a small family or friends wanting a lovely, memorable holiday.
This elegant and beautifully appointed villa measures 176 sqm and comprises three separate buildings within its plot. There are two plush one-bedroom villas one with king-size bed and another one with two single beds, spacious en-suites with free-standing, circular baths and powerful rain showers and then the living space. It is all exceptional with Thai inspired décor and within a beautiful enclosed courtyard with lush green planting. The jacuzzi is glorious and such fun for the family or friends. With direct access to the wonderful beach, what more could you want! There is a twice-daily housekeeping service to make sure it is always looking beautiful.
The Santiburi Resort is located on one of the most popular beaches on Koh Samui – Maenam Beach. It is peaceful and absolutely stunning with champagne coloured sand, azure blue sea and surrounded by glorious coconut palms. The resort’s 300m stretch is hosted by butlers serving you water, ice creams and towels and making sure you are happy with your sunbed choice. You will understand the dedication of the staff at Santiburi the second you arrive and are taken to your villa by private limousine transfer.
The excellent well-being team provides a huge choice of activities including water sports, fitness, tennis, football, yoga, pilates, family and culture days, cooking classes, Thai boxing, sailing and an exceptional children’s camp. At the impressive water sports centre, you can choose between kayaks, catamarans, windsurfing or paddleboards, laser sailboats and Hobie-wave. About the surrounding area of Santiburi VillaKoh Samui is an awesome destination with luxury resorts, idyllic white-sand beaches, lush mountainous rainforest, and so much going on to appeal to a huge age range. Santiburi is intent on offering complete relaxation and well-being to its guests and has a huge array of activities.
Maenam Beach is one of the most popular beaches on the island for its secluded location. Lipa Noi is very child-friendly without corals and rocks and with shallow waters up to 100 metres. It is perfect for glorious family days out. Cheweng Beach is the longest beach and Lamai is known as a peaceful beach. With its pristine jungles, Taling Ngam Beach is the most picturesque, offering incredible views of the Angthong Marine National Park.
Chaweng Beach is a busy resort. Aside from the seriously long, beautiful beach it has a very buzzing nightlife. There are incredible beach parties, so many nightclubs and its eclectic, colourful local life. The ladyboy cabaret shows are famous and full of glitter, glitz and elaborate costumes.
Santiburi resort has many fantastic restaurants, but you might want to try some street food. There are many stalls at Fisherman’s Village Walking Street in Bophut, the Elephant Walk in Bophut and Lamai Night Plaza and so many other places. It is delicious and so cheap! At the same time, you can buy lots of little gifts at the night markets. You should stock up on spices so that you can make delicious Thai meals when you are home!
Not for the fainthearted, you can see a cobra show at Koh Samui Snake Farm. There are many species of snakes which sometimes get very close! There are also scorpions, centipedes, crocodiles, spiders and all sorts of creepy crawlies. Children might be fascinated!
You cannot leave Koh Kamui without seeing the breathtaking Angthong National Park, an archipelago of 42 idyllic islands stretching across the Cerulean Sea. You can go snorkelling, hiking, diving or just swim and relax and take in the idyllic views. The coral reefs and sea life are phenomenal.
The 12 metres tall golden Big Budda is located inside the grounds of the Was Phra Yai temple. There are many shops, food stalls and fortune tellers in the grounds. Wat Khunaran is a remarkable temple with mummified monks, displayed in caskets surrounded by flowers, candles, incense sticks and fruit offerings. Again, not really for the fainthearted! Wat Plai Laem is a busy, active Buddhist temple built on the water. It is very colourful.

Best Suited For: All AgesChildren are likely to remember their holiday at Villa Paadini and Santiburi resort for a long time. They will adore their own villa jacuzzi and both the incredible freeform resort swimming pool and the stunning beach. There is a separate, shaded children’s pool next to the main pool. They will also enjoy the butlers serving them ice cream!
Santiburi’s Panya and Yim’s Junior camp is designed to entertain, excite and educate them. They take children aged 4 and up and will spend time in well-equipped play areas, a stage for fashion, music shows, karaoke, a children’s library and even a dedicated PlayStation room. A bridge to an outside play area includes a treehouse, sandpit, slide, bamboo hut and a sensory garden.
They will love the batik painting, gel candle making, origami, cooking and yoga workshops and will come back to parents with a host of gifts. What fun! The club runs from 9 am-12 noon and 1 pm to 5 pm. Every Thursday evening parents are offered a night off and the club stays open until 10 pm. Under 4’s are looked after by a baby-sitting service at a cost. Santiburi invites football fanatics to a good natured fun game every day. Also, children can use bikes from the kids club to get around the resort.
Koh Samui has many activities that children love. Coco Splash Adventure and Water Park at Lami is filled with exciting slides, bumper boats, an inflatable castle and bungee trampoline. The Aquapark Samui at Chaweng is thrilling. Made up of inflatable floating devices of various shapes and sizes – pyramids, bridges, trampolines and more, children and parents will have so much fun. The Pink Elephant Samui Water Park near Bophut, close to the villa, has a 12m tall speed slide and a bowl slide for thrill-seekers, a wave pool with gigantic waves, a kiddies lagoon for really small children and a relaxing lazy river.
Also in Cheweng is a nine-hole mini-golf course offering a fun activity to all ages. Children will love to put the ball through tiger’s and crocodile’s mouths. It is set amongst a lovely landscape garden. The football golf east of Bophut is fun too.
Older children might enjoy the Escape Hunt Experience at Chaweng, a new trend in entertainment. It allows families and children over 9 to challenge their brain skills in trying to escape a locked room by solving puzzles.
For adventurous children, an exhilarating way to view the nature and canopy of this terrific island is to zip line at Samui Canopy Adventure. Koh Samui boasts the longest zip line in Asia. You can imagine what it is like to be a bird soaring over the rain forests with speeds up to 50 miles per hour. It suits children from 7 years and up.
