Villa Abaddon is a luxury villa with its own grounds and large private pool, set within the elegant confines of a wider resort complex, blending the best of an independent home with host-led services. Set on the beach on the stunning island of Koh Lanta on the Andaman Coast of Thailand, guests will delight in this tranquil idyll - a peaceful retreat for mind-body wellness amid the sounds of the ocean waves and swaying palm trees.
Nestled in Thailand’s most low-key island, away from the bright lights of the tourist trail, Villa Abaddon is executed with chic styling, elegant interiors and sumptuous outdoor living potential, with a jacuzzi, outdoor rain shower, yoga terrace and round-the-clock butler services. Arriving by boat at this refined haven, guests will truly have the sense of escaping the day-to-day, while this stand-alone home blends traditional Thai architecture with all the contemporary comforts of a state-of-the-art modern pad.
Ideal for either two couples or a family across two bedrooms and three bathrooms, the Thai exterior, with a timber pointed roof, and floor-to-ceiling glass is framed by rustling trees and elegant terrace. Chic day beds hover just above water level, while the parasols and wicker seating adorn this space to perfection. Guests can simply recline and order a cocktail from the comfort of the poolside, or enjoy some morning yoga on the deck, or wander down to the spa for a rejuvenating treatment.
In keeping with the Thai tradition, there is a natural interplay between indoor and outdoor living, and closeness to water for a restorative atmosphere. The sleek terrace sets the scene for relaxed afternoons enjoying the peace of the villa’s private space, for delightful breakfasts after a morning swim, or evening meals beneath the stars.
The open-plan living space is airy and contemporary, whilst being home-like. Executed with panache and style, creating an ideal ambience for a family or group to come together and convene at the end of the day. Hitting the right note between Eastern ‘zen’ and Western polish, the interiors feature the local style of high ceilings, while the balcony offers fragrant views.
The resort has an array of further facilities, with a gym, large saltwater infinity pool framed by parasols and loungers, Olympic pool, spa, restaurants, gym and cocktail bars, while “Had Phra Ae” or Long Beach is just a few steps away, offering sublime sunset views across the islands of Phangan Bay.

About the surrounding area of Villa AbaddonVilla Abaddon is a leisurely stroll from one of Thailand’s finest white sand beaches on the tranquil island of Koh Lanta in Thailand’s Krabi Province. Nes Phra-Ae Beach (Long Beach) is a pristine three-kilometre stretch of white sand fringed by palm trees overlooking the azure-blue Andaman Sea.
Koh Lanta is an island paradise that remains unspoilt, with an abundance of natural rainforest, mystical mangrove plantations and local fisherman’s villages. Known for its coral-fringed beaches, mangroves and rainforests, the island is a luscious escape for nature lovers. Mu Koh Lanta National Park spans several islands, including the southern end of the largest island Ko Lanta Yai, while there are 52 islands in total across the bay.
Koh Lanta is an island for relaxation, with proximity to stunning nature being its defining characteristic. The Mu Koh Lanta National Park covers most of the southern tip of Koh Lanta Yai; the large nature preserve is a mix of jungles, hills and beaches. Tanod Beach, in particular, is known for its unspoilt beauty.
