Best Suited For: All AgesCapella, Bangkok has plenty of activities for families to pick from. From Family Muay Thai and Origami Craft activities, there are things to do if exploring the local area is not your forte.
However, Bangkok itself has plenty of child-friendly activities; the many shopping malls to choose from will provide hours of entertainment, and lots of them have cinemas, ice rinks and bowling alleys. Kids will love the Khlong Lat Mayom floating market, as well as a boat trip along the Chao Phraya River. Sea Life Aquarium Bangkok is a fantastic place to take the kids for an afternoon, where they can check out the rich marine life including sharks, seahorse’s spider crabs and jellyfish.
There is also a fun glass bottom boat ride and a 4D cinema here. One of the most popular places for kids in Bangkok, Dreamworld is Thailand’s answer to Disneyland. This fun theme park has rollercoasters and rides suitable for kids of all ages. There are also shows to watch, fairy-tale characters to meet and even an indoor snow park where you can play in real snow!
Siam Park City is a good choice of what to do with kids in Bangkok on a hot day, as it has not only thrill rides for the whole family but also water slides to cool off in, including the world’s largest wave pool! There are five fun zones to explore at Thailand’s largest theme park, including X-Zone for adrenaline junkies and Small Zone for the little ones.

Spetacular river view, very clean room and facilities, Super Friendly and kind staff, a little expensive price but worth it. Very easy to excess to ICON SIAM by private boat. Very Quiet, not crowded. Love to visit again.

Pure excellence
Capella Bangkok is one of the best luxury hotel in the city.
The room was flawless: clean, thoughtful modern design offering fantastic panoramic view of the river, and with the most comfortable bed ive slept in a long time. The hotel set up a kid's teepee for my 5 year old, and ensured that we have every thing we needed during our 3 day stay.
All the hotel staff were friendly, helpful and impeccable with their service: addressing your family by name, offering their assistance and meeting every need carefully, promptly and without fuss (and incredibly in a good way, sometimes without us asking). We arrived 2 hours early and the hotel had a room ready for us without questions.
Food was excellent as well. Breakfast had variety and quality, and not the typical boring half bothered continental in most hotels. The in room dining were the same: fantastic local fares done really well for modern palate, with lots of care in the way the food was prepared and served.
We will definitely be back to explore that part of the city!
