About the surrounding area of Villa ArcolaA short walk from the water, this stunning villa really is in a prime location. Walk a short seven-minute walk to your local restaurant, ‘Restaurante En Carago’, which specialises in fresh seafood and offers extraordinary views. Take a quick four-minute drive down to your local sand beach, which is right around the corner Playa Punta Prima, and then head up to the gelateria close by for some delicious and fresh ice cream! Because of the fantastic location, you can walk to most beaches and your local restaurants, and if you need to drive somewhere, it’ll only be a short drive.

THE REGION
Punta Prima is located in the southeast corner of Menorca and the municipal district of Sant Lluis. Mahon is just 10 km away, so a journey from the airport is approximately 25 minutes. Nearby resorts include Binibeca and S’algar, and are just 5-6km away by road.
The centre of Punta Prima, adjacent to the beach, is where you’ll find a good selection of restaurants offering a good range of international cuisine and Mediterranean dishes, as well as several bars with some offering play areas for children.

The private pool is accessed by Roman steps, making it easy for the little ones to get in and out of the water without needing help getting up and down a ladder. Parents should note that the pool is unfenced, so young children must be well supervised while on the pool terrace, as the surrounding decking could get slippery.
Villa Arcola is located in the quiet fishing cove of Biniancolla, and the kids will love to see the little boats that are moored here and explore the sandy coastline. Popular family pastimes in the region include nature rambles, cycling and horse riding, so you’ll find plenty of opportunities to get out and about as a family and explore the nature around you. In Menorca, you’re never far from a beach, and here you are in the ‘golden triangle’, home to some of the most beautiful, including the popular Binibeca Nou. You’ll find soft white sands and clear shallow waters perfect for younger children here. Families come here to paddle and picnic and perhaps to try their hand at snorkelling - there’s plenty of local marine life to spot! Or, for somewhere a little quieter and less ‘touristy’, there’s Biniparratx, a hidden gem enclosed by cliffs and famous for its caves which are perfect for exploring!
If you want to venture a little further with the kids, the capital of Mahon is easy to reach by car or bus. Depending on what time of year you visit, the city organises many festivals and fiestas featuring street acts, dancing and music, as well as delicious street food enjoyed by locals and visitors alike - it’s an experience the kids won’t forget!
