Casa Coqueta is an attractive four bedroomed Villa sleeping up to 8 guests. Enjoying spectacular sea views and located in Cap de Font, a coastal area of natural beauty, the property is only a short drive from the capital Mahon. Menorca is perfect for lazy, relaxed beach holidays, enjoying a laid-back atmosphere; this is a great destination for families and beach lovers. Historic towns, pretty fishing villages and glorious sandy beaches enjoy a backdrop of stunning turquoise waters.

Casa Conqueta offers fantastic inside-out living surrounded by beautiful sea and countryside views. The property is set over one level, with white-washed walls, pretty covered terraces and windows framed by cute red shutters. Outside is a large inviting pool and a green and luscious garden.

The open-style living room has a relaxed ambience, decorated with a large squashy sofa and wall-mounted TV; this is a wonderful chill-out zone. The indoor living space seamlessly connects to an expansive, fully covered terrace, with an Ibiza-style seating area with built-in seating plumped with comfy cushions cooled by an overhead cooling fan; this is the perfect spot to enjoy pre or post-dinner drinks or to sit back and relax on balmy days and take in the wonderful views. The terrace also offers a lovely al fresco dining space where you can enjoy shady lunches or fabulous feasts under the stars. The compact, bright kitchen is well equipped and offers all the mod cons to rustle up tasty treats, including a hob, oven, microwave, fridge freezer and coffee machine.

All the bedrooms are light, airy and bright with splashes of sunshiny colours. The master bedroom is a large double with plenty of storage, an en-suite bathroom and air-conditioning. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are flexible twin rooms with pull-out beds and ceiling fans and share an independent bathroom, and bedroom 4 is a large double with an en suite bathroom with the benefit of its own separate entrance offering a degree of independence and privacy.

The outside space of this property maximises the stunning sea views and light at every opportunity and offers a gorgeous sanctuary to relax in.
The delightfully furnished terrace faces onto a beautiful kidney-shaped pool framed by oversized loungers and pretty parasols. And there is a large lawned garden with colourful shrubs and shady trees.   Families and friends will love the bonus secluded seating area under a pretty pergola, which has ample comfy recliners perfect for a sundowner or two.

Casa Coqueta is located in Cap de Font on Menorca’s south coast between Binisafuller and Binidali beaches. Enjoying a stunning coastline, there are rocky coves and steps built into the rocks that lead to the sea. From the property, you can meander through a wild path and reach the virgin cove of Biniparratx, yet you are only 20 minutes’ drive to the bustling Capital of Mahon. Very near Cap den Font are two restaurants. For your essentials, the picturesque Fishing Village of Binibeca is about 3 km away, or a short drive will take you to Sant Lluis, where there is a large supermarket and quaint shops and cafes.

Mahon is charming and authentic and only a short drive from the property. Built on a cliff overlooking the harbour, Mahon is colourful and lively. The historical centre is a maze of pretty pastel streets, charming squares and plazas with pavement cafes and restaurants and offers plenty of cultural delights and interesting shopping spots. The Marina is a two-mile strip of waterside bars and restaurants and is the perfect spot to people-watch and try traditional Menorcan cuisine. The main town square (Esplanada) hosts a market on Tuesday and Saturday where you can pick up local produce, and lovely home-spun gifts.

There are some lovely natural beaches close to the property. Binidalí to the west is a little beach that opens up to a narrow curved cove with clear turquoise water, and Binisafua in the east is a small u shaped white sand beach well protected against the waves. The Es Grau beach is just a few kilometres from Mahon and is a white sandy beach with great facilities, including bars, restaurants and water sports.

Less than 30 minutes by car is Es Castell, which is full of history and has a wonderful atmosphere. The two fishing harbours provide wonderful waterside promenades for daytime or evening strolls and picturesque bars and restaurants to visit. In summer, there are often additional night markets with artisan foods and handicrafts.

THE REGION

The quiet and idyllic resort of Binibeca is a very popular smaller resort on the beautiful south coast of Menorca and is a perfect choice for holidaymakers wanting to escape the noise and crowds of other more developed areas. You will not find any skyline-destroying hotels or large holiday complexes here, most accommodations being in private villas and apartments.

Today, Binibeca stretches 3 km along the coast and includes the original ‘Binibèquer Vell’, or an old portion, as well as the new portion of ‘Binibèquer Nou’- a natural progression with many of the homes and villas in keeping with the original design. At the very eastern point of Binibeca, you will also find Cala Torret, a small village which feels separate but is actually part of it.

Casa Coqueta is a lovely villa for kids. There is loads of space for fun and games, and the pool is large and inviting; it's going to be hard to drag them away. Menorca is a breath of fresh air for families who want a relaxed holiday away from large crowds.

Menorca has some absolutely gorgeous beaches to discover, and some of the best are only a short drive from Casa Coqueta. Biniparratx, Binidali and Binisafuller are nearby 'virgin' beaches, beautiful and authentic but with no facilities, so bring your own picnic. Punta Prima beach boasts incredibly blue waters and is perfect for the little ones as the waters are shallow, clear and calm. You can park for free next to the beach, and there are all kinds of services like bars, restaurants, kayaking and pedal boat rentals. The island's newest water park, Splash Sur Menorca, is located close to Punta Prima, so if the beach is not enough for your young thrill-seekers, then head over for some exhilarating fun. Another very family-friendly beach is Son Bou. This is the longest beach on the island and offers lots to see and do for all ages. Enjoy walkways over sand dunes and a colourful tourist train to the buzzing town centre.

Mahon offers a great family excursion. A fun way to explore the port and harbour is to take a tour boat ride. Most boats have an open-air top deck and are glass-bottomed, so you can see some sea life too. Faro de Favaritx is a beautiful nature reserve with many walking/hiking options and a wonderful lighthouse to discover. The Es Grau beach is just a few kilometres from Mahon and is a white sandy beach with great facilities; before reaching the beach, you will pass the entrance of the Albufera Natural Park, a great attraction for children.

Security deposit €1000 charged to client’s credit card by the owner before/upon arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.

End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or garbage disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.

Tax Balearic Eco Tourist Tax of €2.20 per person per night for over 16's is not included in the rental price and will need to be paid locally in cash on arrival.
Insurance Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, loss of personal belongings, personal liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.
Other Ts and Cs A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to confirm a booking at this property (or full payment if booking within 12 weeks of departure).
Please note the air conditioning is only available in the living room and two of the bedrooms. The remaining bedrooms have ceiling fans.
Other 2 A copy of the lead persons passport must be sent as soon as the deposit payment is made. If the lead person, at this stage, does not have a valid passport then an alternative person will need to be the lead person of the booking. The owner will not accept the booking unless he has a copy of a passport is submitted.
