The villa also features a well-equipped kitchen and a dining space for up to six guests, providing the perfect opportunity to gather around the table and share meals together. The spacious bedrooms feature soft, comfortable beds that promise a restful and relaxing night's sleep. Each room is decorated to the same high standard as the rest of the villa, with accents of rich wood in the furnishings. The master bedroom has a large double bed and benefits from a modern ensuite bathroom with both bath and shower facilities. The other two bedrooms - another spacious double and a stylish twin (perfect for the kids!) - are equally bright and comfortable. The second double room features an ensuite bathroom with shower.

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa PerdiuVilla Perdiu is located just a seven-minute drive from the charming fishing village of Fornells (not to be confused with Playa den Fornells), a quiet and traditional-style location set around a pretty harbour lined with palm trees and offering beautiful views across the bay. The village is the place on the island for enjoying sail-based water sports, and the wind conditions make it perfect for beginners. It's also home to some of the best specialist fish restaurants in Menorca.
The harbour square is a pleasant place to spend a sunny afternoon people-watching or enjoying refreshments from the little bars and cafes you'll find here. From here, you can enjoy some beautifully serene coastal walks to the neighbouring Playa den Fornells holiday resort. There’s no real beach here at Fornells, but there is a small stretch of coarse sand in the centre of the village (depending on recent storms) where the kids can play and paddle. Many visitors here hire kayaks from the harbour to reach the more remote bays that can be found opposite the village.
Nearby is Son Parc, home to Arenal Son Saura beach, which boasts clean, golden sands and clear, shallow waters. In some places, the surf is barely knee-deep, making it a popular choice for families with young children, and there's a lifeguard on duty here for extra peace of mind. Amenities include a parasol and sunbed hire, toilets, and disabled access - and it's an excellent spot for snorkelling, jet skiing, water skiing and windsurfing.

THE REGION
Arena D'en Castell is located on the northeast coast of Menorca, within an easy bus ride of other towns to visit. Arenal den Castell is the fourth most prominent resort on Menorca and is on the eastern side of Menorca, where most of the island's attractions are located.
The bay at Arenal d'en Castell is as close to a near-perfect horseshoe as you can get. The headlands on the waters' horizon close in so much so that you think you might be standing by a large saltwater lake. While some areas behind the beach have been developed, the varying ground height levels mean it's more natural than it might first appear in photographs. The eastern end of the resort and beach is more naturally intact with wooded areas and sand dunes and is where most of the private villas and apartments are located.

Best Suited For: All AgesIf you’re looking for a quiet and peaceful holiday accommodation to enjoy a family break, Villa Perdiu is going to tick a lot of your boxes! There are both double rooms and a twin, so sorting out sleeping arrangements should be simple, and additions such as TV and WiFi will make the kids feel right at home and help to keep them entertained while the adults are busy cooking or preparing for the day ahead. You'll find plenty of space both inside and out to chill out and relax together as a family and a covered alfresco dining space so that the kids can eat outside while keeping out of the sun during the hottest part of the day.
Parents will be pleased to know that the outdoor dining terrace overlooks an enclosed lawn area at the front of the property, where the kids can play while the adults finish their meals or enjoy after-dinner drinks and conversation. The villa's pool is located on a separate terrace at the back of the property, so the kids can splash about to their hearts' content while the parents relax on the nearby sun loungers. It's worth noting that the pool can't be seen from the garden or the dining terrace, so young children must be accompanied to the pool area.
Villa Perdiu is located in the countryside, offering opportunities for family walks, cycling, and exploring nature. Nearby, the resort of Son Parc and the fishing village of Fornells offer family-friendly activities such as water sports and exploring the harbour, shops, and cafes. Arenal Son Saura is a nearby beach accessible for those with limited mobility and has amenities such as parasol hire and lifeguards, making it a great place for families to relax and enjoy the clear shallow waters. Many restaurants and cafes are also in the surrounding areas to suit all tastes and budgets.
