Villa Solvia is set in the beautiful upmarket area of Gotmar, near the old fishing port, Puerto Pollença. The villa has wonderful private grounds of pine trees, flowers and shrubs and has lawn space perfect for outdoor picnics. The picture-perfect surrounding offers spectacular views and backdrops to your photos. If you are hoping for a calm and serene location for your Mallorca vacation, then you’re in luck, as the combination of the villa’s location and surroundings along with the property itself, creates an amazing tranquil atmosphere.
The villa itself has been recently renovated to provide a more relaxing, holiday experience. It’s set on one floor, which is ideal for families. Villa Solvia has a large open-plan lounge and dining area. The lounge space is complete with large sofas that breathe cheer and colour into the space with their beautiful red colour. Additionally, there is a collection of armchairs offering a second space for you to relax in. The living space has stunning exposed wooden beams, celebrating older traditional house styles. It benefits from large patio doors that let natural light flood the room, which also offers direct access onto the patio.
The dining space has a large and stylish dining table available for the whole holiday party to enjoy a formal dinner. From this large space, there is an entrance into a separate kitchen which has been fully equipped with stainless steel, modern appliances. There is a smaller table available in the kitchen as well as an outdoor dining table set up, which is great for alfresco dining. The property has an outdoor barbeque available as well, so you can enjoy the ultimate summer food whilst you relax poolside.
There are three spacious bedrooms, all with double beds. These rooms have the same exposed beam style running through them that is in the living space. Two of the bedrooms have their own en-suite bathroom, one is equipped with a bathtub, and the second with a shower. There is then a third bathroom, equipped with a shower, that is a shared family bathroom. The bedrooms are all bright, thanks to the softly coloured walls and the large windows that let natural light fill the room.
When you exit out onto the pool patio, you’ll see the beautiful private pool with sunbeds around it, as well as a few seating areas. These facilities offer you plenty of outdoor relaxing space where you can sunbathe, enjoy good food and company and have a swim in your private pool. From the patio, you can take a few steps down onto a grassy area, which gives you space to let the kids run around and entertain themselves.
What you should know…
- Air conditioning is available between 2pm and 4pm, and then again 8pm and 8am, this will help you avoid restless nights due to the heat

About the surrounding area of Villa SolviaPuerto Pollença was an old fishing port in beautiful Pollenca. As it was an old fishing port, it retains some of its old-time traditional aspects which you’ll be quickly exposed to on a stroll through the town. You’ll find a great collection of cafes and restaurants, and if seafood is a favourite of yours, then you’ll be in great company here. Puerto Pollença has beautiful sandy beaches for you to explore, and the atmosphere is laid back and friendly, families and couples return time and time again as it remains a favourite with them! From the horseshoe-shaped bay, you can see the stunning Tramuntana mountain range, which were recently declared to be a world heritage site – their beauty is spectacular.
Nearby you have Alcudia which is one of the most visited destinations in Mallorca, with its history, charm and gothic revival architecture. It has plenty of magnificent, scenic sandy beaches for you to explore stretching several kilometres giving your party ample space to explore, some even offer great places to snorkel (not all the beaches can offer this activity will have equipment to hire). For the families, or the kids at heart, there is the Alcudia Hidropark with a water golf course, water slides and pools. You may also pursue the streets of Alcudia for their open-air street markets and sample the food they have to offer.

There is a grassy area that will be the perfect place for kids to run around and play games, entertaining themselves for fun-filled evenings. It also offers a great location for picnics, and with the addition of the barbeque at the property, you can enjoy some amazing food whilst relaxing on the grass. Additionally, the private swimming pool is a fantastic feature for the kids, no matter the age they can enjoy the pool.
When the weather isn’t optimal, or you’re just relaxing at the villa, then kids can enjoy the television that has access to satellite channels which can offer some entertainment. Or they can connect their devices to the internet and enjoy games and other apps that they are used to having access to.
Puerto Pollença has some beautiful beaches, some of which have water sports available. This family-friendly and laid-back location in Mallorca has some lovely restaurants and activities ready for the family to experience and enjoy.
